What was that ship part anyway, I don't know near as much as Dave does on the subject and I didn't recognize the name

It's from a cheesy but delightful and hilarious old sci-fi show called Red Dwarf. It's a British show and for those of us americans raised on PBS because our parents were too cheap to pay for cable, it was one of the few decent shows available to watch. ;)

Hmmm. I'm honestly not sure how Rahz would react if he ever crosses paths with Fei, given his listed back story regarding the stuff. That could be a bit of...interesting roleplay.

I doubt their class schedules (or selection) would ever overlap, but I guess I'll have to keep a weather eye just in case ;)

I think I should say a wee bit about Johnny, yep hes a godling, but an odd one, to temper him down hes only got one side of his gestalt, he has no idea what the other may be and he may never get it.

hes dos not get magic, well thats not 100% true, where he is from Science (and in this case Science Fiction) dos the same thing as magic but its seen as being done by mundane means not Supernatural ones.

But lets face facts, things light faster then light travel, Teleporting (displacing) Anit-Gravity, Ninitie tech, brain backups, Bio-tech enchantments, Zero Point Energy devices, antimatter manipulation, Shields, real AIs and so on are just as made up as Soul manipulation, Magic powers and spells, Spirits and so on.

So both made up, with outcomes just the same, so then its a matter of point of view.

Johnny says "We do not have magic where I am from" but in fact the Culture knows of being in other Dimensions that does stuff that's just like magic, breaking the laws of reality, the Culture calls them the "Sublimed" here they are called Titans. Some thing different names.

Now Johnny can see magic, its all around him, But hes thinking its just powers beyond implementing forces that just are based on the laws of reality - This is odd as you have to remembered hes not from a hard sifi reality so in a FTL carft thinking like that to us is strange.

But its how he rationalizes from his view point and background thats key here, just like any other PC, AKA Benders and so one.

So how Johnny come to leans and deals with magic is part of his PC evolving.

Vai could have access to it, but honestly she considers it kinda rude. If people are going out of their way to hide something, there's probably a reason for it.

Dave has his on all the time, but then he's kinda paranoid, its not a spell for him and he is in heavy blades anyway

Well, I WAS going to bring in a new character. But I think I will just wait for the inevitable death of everything and start fresh with this new character....

I think I might drop a teacher into the mix. My concepts for teachers never seem to pan out though. Always little things that ruin it. We need a conjuration teacher, right? :)

I have an idea for an abjuration teacher if there is none, no one is in that so class so it's not much of an issue but still

Och. Druids are a tetchy lot. I don't think Tyrrin is going to intervene to prevent Anahita from leaving, though Ori, Ryo or Salis may have something to say on the matter.

On the other hand... Tyrrin might have somethign to say to Anahita, but my break time is up D:

Just roleplaying what I feel/think is appropriate to the character, not specifically due to any class "thing".

I am always under a true seeing effect. But it is not because I need to understand everything, it is simply because I am paranoid. I have to be prepared and informed for when someone turns on me. People who act peacefully, I ignore the things they are trying to hide.

I must've slept wrong or something, as ever since I got up, I've been having severe stiffness and pain in my right shoulder, which is certainly a bad thing to have when typing, so until this goes away, I think this will be my only post for a while. Not even Ibuprofen is helping.

Ouch did you read my background Anahita because so far you have hit the right buttons to make it really hurt. Pretty sure your words have hurt worse than the arrow ever did.

Unless I ICly know a character, I won't read your history. It's more fun to learn who you are in character.

Salis wasn't exactly warm and fuzzy when Anahita met him the first time. Though I warrant he didn't suspect anything wrong there either. Not that I could tell in your posts, in any event.

Appreciate that Tyrrin and Ori spoke up- part of me just wanted to let the democracy of the situation take over, i.e. Tyrrin & Salis as players, versus merely my goals. Afterall, Anahita's only been here one day thus far, and this morning.
