That's how he ended up at Avalon in the first place. Being a male dryad definitely made him an oddity and so he didn't fit in among the other dryads. Normally a male child would just be a half-fey something, like Dennis, Pan's half-brother, is a half-fey Minotaur. Nobody is quite sure what exactly happened that Pan ended up as a male dryad. But he was more than happy to leave when Dennis suggested it. :)

Lucas would also like to meet the other nature people.

Taron and Kam are pretty much background now because I'm simply not on Paizo enough for roleplay posting anymore.
Plus Tamrin might shoot them otherwise.
Most days Tamrin wouldn't actually shoot them. After the news he just got...maybe some wounding. Which is actually quite unfair. Totally blaming the wrong kid. Aurix was/will be kinda Ephebe's fault. Kinda. It's complicated.
Also, sadness. :(
I know it often goes in cycles, with life being more busy at some times than others, and you do stop by as often as you can, but I miss having you around more often. You're one of my very favorite people to RP with. Here's hoping for more posting time in the future. :)

Hey Lyn,
Would I be able to use the Kitsune Trickster racial archetype for a non Kitsune character?
I like the idea of that character I mentioned earlier who was around during the start of this game(but obviously in the background) being a wandering diplomat type, but I don't want her to be a Kitsune, since in our world, they are kinda powerful and I don't want this character to be much more than neat PC who may not even get much screen time, but could depending on in game events.
Was actually thinking I would make her a human, but sort of 'create' a racial linage via the race builder. My thought is that the family has been carefully performing selective breeding for centuries to 'create' awesome diplomats. I might even add in some Sovereign dragon blood for a cool addition and make them a bit more unique.

Noticed something a little odd:
Many of the couples in the game tend to be the first of the opposite gender they meet and befriend.(At least that are single)
Ex, Michael and Kitty, Krays and Ephebe(For Krays at least. Pretty sure Phebe is the first girl, aside from her mom, that he meets), Ace and Ginni(he became friends with Tyrrin afterwards, I think), etc.
Also, I find it interestingly fitting that Amada was the champion of Love. Reading all of her posts since she was first introduced, its obvious why she was chosen.

Also,
YAY!! That Mel and Ginni are about to reunite!
Hopefully sooner rather than later, we can get to work on being a band. Got some awesome stuff planned.
IC's song reminded me lol
EDIT:
Reading about Asch, Amada and now Embre makes their fates hurt a lot more now than when I first read that scene as I barely knew them.
HATE YOU LYN!! :P

"Ace" |

Reading all about Kitty, and how sweet, innocent, cheerful and adorable she is, makes me want to go and resurrect Repp and kill him all over again.
Any chance you'll allow that Krays?

I have a uber BBEG plot I would like to run, but I have some questions first:
1) The patrons are active in multiple universes and alt realities right? Like, I know their concepts exist(duh) but does their 'game' and thus need of champions exist in other realities beyond our own?
2) If a champion dies, and its soul is somehow entrapped, would that prevent a patron from choosing a new champion?
3) I know CR for gestalt in general is very tricky, even more so for Avalon, but what would a rough CR be for a solidly challenging encounter for potentially *all* of the current, active champions on Agartha be, Ace included?(since he isn't one atm, but will be by the time this plot comes to fruition).

1) given the existence of evil vai I'm going to say "yes"
2) uh I don't think so but I don't have a definitive answer to that one
3) all at once or one by one?
If all at once you're looking at something like 25+ maybe
If one by one.... It really depends on how well they are played, but start looking at 16 with some class features and/or templates added

I just wasn't sure if the champion's soul being trapped, say ala Trap the Soul, would somehow prevent a new one from being chosen. I could see that being an interesting caveat to their power of creating champions.
And while I don't have an army I have some stuff that, if allowed, puts an army to *shame*.

Is it the Hulk?

...Hello?
Crickets?
SorryNotSorry. Sorry for the inconvenience, but it really couldn't be helped. I was taking a mental health day for my regularly scheduled annual emotional breakdown. It may take me a couple of days to get back up to speed.

Yeah, I would be fine with using the archetype, especially if there's some sort of fey bloodline, or even janni or something like that. But I would stay away from the Sovereign dragon blood. Makes it so much harder to work in the backstory.
And the person would mostly know the original cast as those weirdos she saw in the halls sometimes. They weren't exactly the popular group back then. (Well, Jiminy and Fieri and Pan and Dennis were. Not so much the other guys, who were mostly made of awkward.) :P

It's actually a case of appearances being deceiving there. That's definitely what happened for Kitty and Michael, yeah. Obviously Krays and Ephebe was a much more complicated story what with the whole Spin debacle and the fact that they didn't get together right away by a long shot. It is true for Jiminy and Fieri, but it doesn't look like it because it took him so long to catch on. But it's only true for Ace and Ginni from his side. She dated plenty of other people since she came to the school. It didn't last because of the whole kissing problem when she had the vampire virus, and it mostly happened off screen, so it's just a throwaway comment here and there. But yeah, you get a lot of intense romantic attachments that often form quickly. And often get broken just as quickly. But not always. :)

That is beautiful. Need to add that to my Avalon playlist.

1. Yes
2. No.3. Uhhh.....there's a lot of stuff you don't know about yet. I've got several such events bubbling in the background already. You're gonna need to run your idea by me before you get too invested in it to make sure it isn't already on the schedule. :)
Oh, and CR is totally meaningless in this game. I've had the exact same party get their butts handed to them by a CR 14 and then turn around and wipe the floor with an epic level creature. :P

That Linnorm was crazy, Lyn. When talking about it from now on I will call it a Lynnorm in honor of not dying.
lol. I love that you immediately knew which encounter I meant. That thing was intended to be a little colorful background, and somehow ended up as one of the most memorable combats of the game. :D

You made the Minotaur a well-done steak. That's memorable.
