Correct me if I am wrong, but I think we previously were told there were three idols and we found two broken in the store room, right?

The various apes in the room are still moving around and shouting. There is still about a half to a foot of mist hugging the floor.
1d7 ⇒ 4
1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17
Ffortissimo takes one point of damage as a splinter of wood lodges in his arm.
1d20 + 17 ⇒ (18) + 17 = 35
You will need a DC 35 Perception check to see the attacker.
Everyone is up.

Knowledge ( nature ) : 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (19) + 9 = 28
Regarding the check previously mentioned in regards to two tall.
Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15

Ffortissimo pulls out the splinter from his arm. "Gah, there's still some creature hounding us from the mist!" He hurries up the ziggurat to untie the elven man there, hoping that he might know how to put an end to this curse.

Amina bravely tries to stop bleeding all over the museum floor. It doesn't seem to work.
Stabilize: 1d20 + 2 - 1 ⇒ (7) + 2 - 1 = 8

Kastarr can see nothing other than monkeys and mist. Neither of these seems to be attacking. In this perceived lull in the fighting, Kastarr tries to wake Amina.
Heal: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19
I can't roll higher than 27 for perception.

"Find it!" Fatham snarls to Splittooth.
handle animal: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
Splittooth has scent...can he try to locate it? I doubt anyone can see DC 35 perception.

TechnoDM |

Unfortunately for Splittooth, his scent ability betrays him. You'll find out why later
1d7 ⇒ 71d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24
A splinter of wood hits Splittooth, probably because of his sniffing around. It bounces off of it's thick hide harmlessly.
1d20 + 17 - 10 ⇒ (9) + 17 - 10 = 16
You will need a DC 16 Perception check to know which five-foot square the attacker is in.
Everyone is up.

Milarandei keeps her eyes wide open, scanning for the threat.
Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (19) + 9 = 28
I believe that's a move action to specifically search.
She tends to Amina's wounds, then shouts out the creature's location.
Caster Level Check: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4 versus DC 3
Cure Moderate Wounds: 2d8 + 3 ⇒ (3, 4) + 3 = 10
Still below average for healing, but at least it's better than I had been doing. Am I sounding bitter?
If the perception check is reactive and doesn't require an action, Milarandei will draw another javelin.
Important OOC: THis was a double post, and it screwed up the rolls. I'd rolled initially raw 9 on Perception for 18, raw 7 for 8 on the caster level check, twin raw 3's on healing for 9.

Assuming Milarandei is able to point out the location:
Ranged touch attack with Acid bolt: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12
miss chance, low is bad: 1d100 ⇒ 15 That's a miss.
The wizard points a finger at the location called out, but the dart of acid hits harmlessly against the wall.

Amina, returning to consciousness stands up, and picks her falchion up off the floor.
Unless Mila tells me it's right next to me. In that case I'll pick my weapon up and attack while prone.

Finishing this narrative off so we can have a satisfactory conclusion.
Kastarr and Fatham smash the idol to bits with their attacks, and the mist begins to clear. The monkeys stop screeching, and confused, run away from the party, out the door of the museum. Akhenethys unties Nigel and helps him down from the ziggurat, the curator's confusion slowly passing as the idol's influence fades.
"Thank you, so much, for coming to my aid. I don't know how to repay you for this -- but how did you know we were in danger?"

Two Tall Tim smiles a big, big smile, "Your old friend Astril Hestram. He hasn't forgotten that once we worked well together and hoped we might be able to right the wrong visited on you by Lugizar Trantos. Now that we're even, maybe we can get a fresh start."

Nigel appears deeply touched at the mention of Adril Hestram's name. "... I'll have to say 'thank you' to my old friend... Perhaps, the Pathfinder Society would still be interested in seeing the Museum, even such as it is now?" To himself, he quietly adds that, "Maybe I should rejoin the Society myself..."
Nigel looks around and spies something, and brightens, running over to pick it up. "This is from my own, personal collection. It is an incredibly ancient Mwangi spear that Chelish explorers found near the colony of Sargava during the reign of the expansionist Chelish prince, Haliad I. It would be worth a great deal to the Society." The spear is a bejeweled masterwork spear with brittle, white bird feathers tied with crumbling leather straps beneath the still-sharp spearhead.
"Here, too, have this, though it isn't much. This, I believe, would be of special significance to Pathfinders: an ioun stone. It will function if placed in a wayfinder. Many ioun stones can be placed within a wayfinder to create fantastic magical effects, though, sadly, this inferior stone is not capable of such resonance. It is a mulberry pentacle ioun stone, unfortunately cracked."
Nigel hands over these treasures, and thanks everyone again. He travels with you back to check on the unconscious men, who have, along with Kastarr, lost their bestial aspects as the mist faded. On the way to take these men to a healer, Ahkenethys talks to him and convinces him to work with his group, the Scarab sages.
Kastarr and Tim are happy to report to their liberty-minded fellows that they were able to rescue Nigel from his captivity, and Milarandei and Amina are proud to relate their victory over the foul ghouls and vargouilles to their crusading friends.
Vargouilles and ghouls should count for the Silver Crusade faction goal, and rescuing Nigel should count for the Liberty's Edge.
