Parity's opponent hops a few feet away, taking out and quickly downing a vial of healing fluid. The other ninja flips across the corridor, moving to and slashing Ameiko across the back, despite her mirror images. She cries out in pain.
Parity follows Miyaro's cue, sprinting along the wall to circle the ninja, before slamming him with an acid-imbued slash. Miyaro closes, slashing away with her kukri and narrowly missing twice.
Heng sprints up, dropping off Koya a few paces from Shalelu.

Skirting the night shadows, the ninja charge in rapidly. Harlan blesses the caravan's defenders while Kelda roars and charges out to meet them head on. She nearly cleaves the first ninja in two with her vicious sword swing, but the blade only passes through the ninja's displaced image. Similarly, of Malnival's two fiery rays, only one makes certain contact.
The ninja shift and bracket around Kelda. She blocks the first's attack, but takes a deep stab in the back.

Parity's foe counterattacks desperately, clipping him on the shoulder but shallow enough for Parity to hardly notice. The other attacks Ameiko again, dispersing another false image before striking true again. Severely weakened by the ninja's poison, Ameiko does her best just to fend off the attacks.
With Suishen in both hands, Parity hits the ninja and nearly finishes him off. Miyaro closes a moment later, and tears the enemy's throat open with her kukri. The ninja falls to the floor boards amid a rapidly widening blood pool.
Koya moves to Shalelu, quickly applying a healing spell. Shalelu regains consciousness and takes in the battle.
Heng closes behind Ameiko's foe, pummeling him with a flurry of fist strikes. The ninja's magic spoils some, but Heng still lands a couple telling blows.

The new arrivals sprint into the melee with Heng-like speed, one moving to stab Koya and the other after Heng. He blocks the attack, but the ninja attacking Ameiko spins around to take up a flanking position, slicing Heng down his upper arm.
Parity moves up behind this one, slashing down and paralyzing the ninja with a nauseous spell. Miyaro steps in and quickly finishes off the held enemy.
Shalelu stands up, aiming and firing an arrow at Koya's attacker. Koya steps back and calls a quick prayer to Desna, and her body is instantly enshrouded in force armor.
Heng faces the two new arrivals and unleashes a roar that reverberates throughout the palace. Both are taken aback by the roar, but the nearer of the two takes the full brunt.

Raging, Kelda continues to attack, swinging her sword and shield with wild abandon, and lands a solid hit on one of her opponents. Sandru sprints forward, rolling in low the last few steps, and coming up to land a deep slash with his scimitar.
Harlan fires his crossbow rapid-fire, hitting Sandru's target with two well-aimed hits. The ninja fights on, bleeding profusely. Malnival charges in and cleaves down the second foe with a single electric blast.
The remaining ninja moves around Sandru for cover, slashing the Varisian across the arm. Sandru winces as blood runs down his hand.
Silent shadows emerge around the left and right wagons, closing rapidly on Harlan and attacking viciously. Luckily, his armor's magic deflects the worst of the sudden ambush.

Koya and Miyaro start choking and gagging at the rancid stench emitting from the fallen ninja.
Instead of retreating, the two remaining ninja move in a coordinated effort to flank Heng, attacking aggressively and marking him with several deep wounds.
Koya moves away, calling down a blessing upon the group. (blessing of fervor)
Pause for updates from you both, because the blessing gives you a few options that may enhance your attacks. I sent out the updated map also. My bad, I should have shifted the rounds to end on the ninja's actions...

With one foe down, Kelda moves onto the next, hacking with her sword and missing, but the attack allows Sandru to shift and land a mortal blow against the ninja, who falls in a spray of blood.
Harlan moves around, creating a small distraction as Malnival charges back, slashing his empowered scimitar through the target's displaced image. The two ninja quickly move to surround Malnival, both attacking with ki-enhanced speed. Malnival parries a few aside, but still takes a couple deep cuts.

Parity moves to Ameiko's side, attacking with fervor-induced speed, and wounding one of the remaining ninja. Heng unleashes a blur of attacks, missing a couple but connecting two crushing strikes. With a caved sternum, the second ninja falls.
Already severely wounded and now badly outnumbered, the last ninja hops away as if to retreat. But instead, after a step, he turns his own blade against himself, driving the sword deep under his ribcage. Silently, pouring blood across the floor, the last ninja collapses.
End of Combat!
As you look around and recover from the furious melee, you hear the cries of alarm and sounds of palace guards closing in. A few moments later, a dozen of them turn the corner and take in the bloody scene. Several of them mutter curses and make warding signs. They hold their weapons ready, but not threatening.
"What happened here?" asks a breathless sergeant.
Kelda roars a battle cry as she charges back to Malnival's side, but she trips on a stone and nearly loses her balance through her powerful swing. Sandru sprints over much more lithely, slashing his scimitar across the ninja's flank and drawing a bloody wound.
Malnival's attacks are foiled again by the ninja's displaced image, but Harlan is able to close most of Malnival's wounds with a healing touch.
Silently ignoring Harlan's quips, the ninja continue to harry Malnival, cutting him with several vicious strikes. Bleeding profusely, the elf wavers and crumbles.

The guard sergeant nods to Heng and turns to order his men, securing the corridor and servant's passage approaches, and sending runners to alert the rest of the palace guard to the potential threat.
Almost incapacitated by the poison, Ameiko sits down beside the door as Heng and Parity batter it. Eventually you shift the barricading armoire enough to slide the door open. Inside, you find the body of one ninja lying by the door, and a visible trail of blood leading towards the open balcony. Maeve is nowhere in sight, and all of her possessions are gone.

Malnival attempts to roll to his feet away from the ninjas.
If you want to try that, make an Acrobatics roll. Similar to an Acro check to move through a threatened square, it will be against a DC of their CMD, with a +4 for being prone. If you fail, you'll draw and AoO.
Standing up draws an AoO, and crawling 5 ft also draws an AoO. At 8 hp, you might be better of attacking from the ground... =D
