Gm, would you mind me reflavoring my scimitar to a cutless and still work with dervish dance? Same damage and crit range just more of a pirate feel to it than a scimitar.. If not no biggie

By the way, "Salty" can provide you with potions at very reduced prices (making cost, which is 1/3 of the normal price) for the formulas he has access to.

I fear I made a mistake... "Salty" can't make potions with Range "Personal" :(
I also was wrong in the "costs" of making them, the Level 1 are 25 gp each, and Level 2 200 gp each.
So the potions he can make are:

Hey everybody, sorry for the slow going. I recently got a freelance gig to write a module and that has been taking up my time. I should be a bit more regular now that I have things mostly ready to go.

OK, I have a small metagame dilemma: either our GM didn't think too hard about the odds of the fight, or the bookie is up to something shady.
Dwarf 5 to 1
Half-orc 2 to 1
If I put 500 gp on the dwarf AND 500 gp on the half orc, worst case scenario I break even getting 1000 from the half-orc, best case scenario I get 250% profit getting 2500 form the dwarf. If they don't let you bet on both I'll just use a proxy, like asking someone else to bet in my place.
This is important because, full disclosure, I plan on fixing the fight. If you feel like this is an unnecessary sidebar in a slow-moving PbP, I won't do that. Otherwise, if you as players are ok with that, as PCs Rhous stops Salty before he places his bet...
Ha, I didn't really think it through too much. Having next to no knowledge about betting, I gave some odds to imply that the dwarf is more of a newcomer and the half-orc is obviously an experienced fighter with some wins under his belt. If it turns out the math works out to breaking even, than so be it, I'm not worried about changing the odds. There are repercussions for lots of actions, even ones as minor as rigging this fight.

My deadline for my freelance work has recently shifted to an unfortunate closer date, so I've found myself scrambling to get things done in half the time.
