Door has no traps.

This simple room might have once been a jailer’s den, or perhaps even a torture chamber, but someone has gone through great pains to repurpose it. The air now smells of sweet exotic incense, and veils of multicolored silk drape from floor to ceiling throughout. Between the rustlings of the veils, glimpses of giant cushions are revealed. The floor is strewn with luxuriant red throw rugs and sheets.

Inside is a pretty lady: an aristocratic-looking human woman with fire- red hair and alabaster skin. Her face is pure elegance— high cheekbones, demure but lust-stirring green eyes, and perfectly shaped eyebrows to accent them.

Seeing you open the door, she speaks to you "Ahh, I heard the hubbub upstairs and was waiting for you to step in for a visit. I guess you must have made short work of the Ogres so you are pretty competent. You might be of interest in serving my lord Mokmurian. There are certainly benefits in his service. We don't have to have a disagreement. "

I don't think Narissa was actually affected. She centered it on the square on the other side of the door, yes? Narissa would have been behind Bo. It's only a 15ft burst, Given the stairs are diagonals, that should have put Narissa at about 20 ft from the center, yes?

Narissa moves past Bo and Bander, and into the room. She brings the barrel up so that it's only a foot or two from the woman's head, and pulls the trigger.

Attack: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (20) + 12 = 32
Attack Confirm: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (17) + 12 = 29 I'm going to assume that confirmed

Damage: 8d8 + 20 ⇒ (5, 6, 4, 2, 2, 7, 8, 2) + 20 = 56

The massive round doesn't even slow down as it blows half her face off and sprays bits of bone and flesh over the wall behind her (not to mention Urga). I doubt that killed her, but she sure as heck felt it!

Bander, you are confused, you rolled "attack nearest creature". You cannot tumble into a flank and attack the enemy. You are attacking Bo by my reading of the map (which since both of you are confused puts the two of you into the confused kill each other loop.

Actually since if he falls over, he has not attacked you, you don't get into the confusion loop if you drop him in one round.
