A bit retcon on my attack.. His pistol is currently 19/20 threat range.. Also im not quite sure why im getting cover penalties shooting a large creature fighting medium ones.. Especially since im elevated above the giants via fly spell..

Because the large creature is within a doorway. He gets cover from the eaves above at the very least, not to mention every square in front of him is occupied.

You drop him with those attacks. In fact you make a very Jackson Pollock type display on the far wall of the guard house.

still invisible, Tirion scrambles up next to the twin-ax ranger, and plinks a shot in the general direction of the Ogre near Bo:

if AC 24 hits, then 1d6 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 + 1 = 8 points of damage...
plus 4d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 6, 4) = 19 sneak attack damage!

then he'll tap his quickrunner's shirt, and run to the southwest corner of the building, between Bo and the rapier ranger. He's scampering right through the hexes with the two rangers and Urga -- so probably would have provoked from the Ogre in the doorway, if Bo hadn't dropped it...

Tirion will also fire at that one between the rangers -- unless it fell from Bo's hits: in that case Tirion switches to the next one over:

Instead of going invisible again, Tirion will simply hide, like a sniper, behind his corner of the building:

You forgot the -20, though that is likely sufficient anyway

my bad -- note that Tirion's "Swift as Shadows" racial trait reduces the penalty for sniping by 10, so the check result should be reduced to 37...


Either way it was likely to work. Ogres aren't know for being perceptive.

Nariss will continue down to the ground, and drop Bander off near everyone else. "Ok, so, it looks like we've cleaned up a lot, but there's more dirty laundry that needs to be aired. I'm not sure I can do much more good sniping. However, I have a few more minutes of wall walking, I can walk everyone up to the top of the keep and we can go down from the tower and hit them from a direction they don't expect and likely can't defend as easily, or we can try to go in through the front door." Wile she's talking, she'll be moving the wounded rangers into range of Bo's channels, if nobody thought of doing that before her and they aren't in range.
