Dukkan 'Doc' Longpaw |

Dukkan is glad to see Thomas come in and back him up. He fires his shotgun at point-blank range into the creature while Thomas has its attention.
Standard Action: Attack Creature #4; Point-Blank Shot
Shots Left:4/5
Attack Roll: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (12) + 9 = 21
Damage Roll: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10

Dukkan 'Doc' Longpaw |

No I don't. Usually, I wouldn't bother since firing at melee range is my character's shtick, but since it's going down this turn anyway could you have my character take a 5ft step back then? Might as well not risk it.

Urga the Ogre |

Round 1
Urga power attacks #2 with his great sword:
Attack:1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10 Damage:2d6 + 10 ⇒ (3, 5) + 10 = 18

drbuzzard |

For the sake of moving things along I'll bot Shenderik's attack.
to hit: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 1 = 19 damage: 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
and the creature drops to the cavern floor and does not move.
Now the remaining critter goes. It lashes out at Urga with 2 claws and a bit.
bite: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21 damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
claw: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23 damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
claw: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11 miss
Urga needs to give me two fortitude saves.
Lua is up.

Lua |

I can't move Lua on the map with my cell. She moves to the space between Thomas and Urga.
Lua swings her greatsword at the last fiend, drawing upon her inner holy might as she does
Smite Evil Attack: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (8) + 12 = 20
Smite Evil Damage: 2d6 + 11 ⇒ (1, 2) + 11 = 14

Lua |

Sorry, I didn't see that the space between Urga and Thomas was a wall. I have moved Lua to a space she can actually occupy.
"Urga, do you hear the movement to the northwest? Let's plug that tunnel so that you and I can engage each monster one at a time!"
Lua moves to the mouth of the tunnel and waits.

drbuzzard |

You see six more of the creatures come barreling into the room to attack you. Good thing you have a convenient choke point.
We'll just keep to the old init numbers.
We'll start with Billy again.
(if someone was curious why Shenderick had such a lousy to hit when I had him shoot vs. when he shot, it is because his first shot was against something out of melee with no cover. The second one had both issues. As he doesn't have precise shot or improves precise shot, he eats the -8)

Shenderik |

Shenderik keeps up a steady fire.
Aiming at the same target of his challenge as before, but now with cover penalties.
Far Challenge for +3 to damage target and target gains +4 to attacks rolls against me.
masterwork rifle: 1d20 + 9 - 4 ⇒ (1) + 9 - 4 = 61d10 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13

Dukkan 'Doc' Longpaw |

Doc moves up closer to the fighting line, standing behind Lua as he adds his own gun to the fusillade.
Move Action: Move 20 ft.
Standard Action: Shoot the creature at the front. Point-Blank Shot.
Attack Roll: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11
Damage Roll: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
Cripes, we're all lowballing it today arn't we? Does that 3 on the board signify anything important, GM?

Billy ''Gunner' Johnson |

Billy moves up to stand right behind Urga, and slipping his rifle past his companion takes a shot at the nearest monster.
Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6

drbuzzard |

Actually Billy, you're getting ahead of yourself, but that's no biggie. Critters go now.
On steps up and attacks Urga with a claw, claw, bite
to hit: 1d20 + 3d6d1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + (20, 3, 8, 10, 14, 10, 2, 12, 6, 7, 14) + 3 = 121 hit damage=1d6+1[/dice: 1d6d1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3, 2, 13, 12, 4) + 3 = 37 miss
The other creatures creatures are milling about behind the front one, but the chokepoint is holding them back.
Lua now goes.

Urga the Ogre |

How much damage did Urga take?
Urga will rage as a swift action (AC drops to 16, +8 HP, +2 to attack and damage)
Attack:1d20 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15 Damage:2d6 + 12 ⇒ (1, 6) + 12 = 19

Lua |

Lua isn't sure what manner of creatures these are, but she feels this place is steeped in evil. Even worse- the undead. From the Haunts to the Revenant. These creatures look as if driven by undeath. It sickens her...
Lua focuses her holy rage into a burst of positive energy. She focuses on the creatures trying to burn them with holy fire.
Channel Positive Energy 30' burst: 2d6 ⇒ (1, 5) = 6 Against Undead
DC 17 Will save for half.

drbuzzard |

C2 7/13
C3 10/13
C4 7/13
C5 13/13
C6 13/13
Urga chops down the one in the front, and it goes down hard, hitting the ground and no longer moving..

Shenderik |

Shenderik went. Fired and missed. I don't think it's come back to me, has it?
If so, he repeats his last action.
Masterwork Rifle: 1d20 + 9 - 4 ⇒ (1) + 9 - 4 = 6 <- v. Touch AC
Gah!

Dukkan 'Doc' Longpaw |

Letting go of his shotgun for a moment, Doc reaches into one of the pouches on his belt and pulls out a small, handcrafted grenade. He twists the cap, activating the catalyst inside then chucks it over Lua and into the throng of creatures where it detonates in a fiery burst.
Standard Action: Throw Bomb (6/7) at the middle creature; Ranged Touch Attack, Fire Damage, Point-Blank Shot.
Attack Roll: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14
Damage Roll: 2d6 + 4 ⇒ (6, 1) + 4 = 11
Splash Damage: 6, DC 15 Reflex for half.

drbuzzard |

The target of the bomb goes down in a heap, already having been harmed by Lua's holy power.
reflex: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5 fail
reflex: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 13 fail
reflex: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20 pass
Two more of the creatures are vanquished by the fiery fringes of the explosion.
C5 10/13
C6 13/13

Urga the Ogre |

Round 2
Urga continues power attacking the creatures.
Attack:1d20 + 8 ⇒ (11) + 8 = 19 Damage:2d6 + 12 ⇒ (4, 3) + 12 = 19

drbuzzard |

Lua hacks a massive cleft into the chest of the creature and it reels, but does not go down. As with all the other creatures, no lifeblood ever seeps, splatters, or oozes from the wounds.
You definitely get the impression that these aren't natural (and you should have studied harder in the religion class).

Thomas Surovati |

Not one known for patience, Thomas decides to try to get past the creature and strike.
move behind creature flanking with Lua by tumbling through its square. Standard= attack creature fighting defensively and power attacking.
attack vs creature 1d20 + 12 - 2 - 2 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 12 - 2 - 2 + 2 = 16

Billy ''Gunner' Johnson |

With a 25 point buy I can't really get why anyone would need a dump stat but it's your build.
The Revenant continues moving along the corridor to the NW (after pausing for plot purposes and tapping her foot as if impatient-not that's not in the module).
Following the Revenant as Billy jacks another bullet into the chamber.

drbuzzard |

(I will assume all of you follow the figure through the cave tunnels)
And since I'm a nitpicky gun nut, you are more likely feeding ammo into the magazine via the reloading door. This is what your rifle would look like. It is lever operated with a reloading door on the side which enables you to fill the 15 round tube magazine.
But back to relevant things.
The cramped tunnel opens into a vertiginous gulf
here, a cathedral-like cavern with a roof arching
thirty feet overhead and dropping into a sloshing
pool of foamy seawater fifty feet below. A steep
stone ledge winds down to these surging depths,
its slope glistening with moisture and mold. A stone
door stands in the northwestern wall about halfway
down the slope.
Standing in the room are four figures. Upon first glance they would appear to be the heroes of Sandpoint. However upon closer examination, you notice the gray skin and other features which lend an unnatural aura to them. Also, there is some really unpleasant odor in here.
Need initiatives.
init-Kyra: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
init-Ezren: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20
init-Merisel: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17
init-Valeros: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13

Urga the Ogre |

Initiative;1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21
Urga continues his rage as he races into the larger cavern.
Round 1
He will power attack the revenant with his great sword.
Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17 Damage:2d6 + 12 ⇒ (3, 6) + 12 = 21
