«That’s mighty generous of you, Votun!» says Jorgo as the old witch purchases the extra pair of snowshoes «A definitely owe you a few rounds at the Stoat when we get back with the skins of these monsters!»

Then he makes for the door, unsatisfied with his weaponry «Speaking of which, let’s see what the ol’ Smithy can offer us… wouldn’t mind myself a weapon of the proper metal. M’lady… Sigrun, is it?» he asks the tall woman «maybe they’ll give us a discount if we order two cold iron axes at the same time!» he says as he starts walking towards the smith.

The dwarf got the guy’s sword… Votun’s headbasher is probably better off in the hands of that redhead … me an’ the old man can conjure up our tricks… what about the father? Would he want something too? He wonders as he approaches the smith.

Once he gets to the forge «Ohi, Isker!» he greets the man «How’s business? Must be good, with all these folks scared of winter wolves and bandits, ah? Won’t you have some cold iron weapons to sell old Jorgo for a good price?»

Feeling into his money pouch for the remainder of his travelling money, Kirridell grimaces...

Little enough to survive a month in Helgren, let alone equipping myself against the Fey...

Arriving at the temple, Kirridell announces his arrival but is greeted with silence...

The Elder must be elsewhere...this damnable cold and peoples' fears must be keeping him busy indeed...I shall leave him a note inquiring whether he would be willing to sell either the scroll or the wand...or donate it for a good and honourable cause...

Leaving his note in a prominent location, Kirridell hurriedly makes his way to the Blacksmiths...

I wonder if I will be able to sell my sword in part-exchange for a weapon of cold iron...

Seeing his companions enter the blacksmiths slightly ahead of him, Kirridell shouts out a greeting to them...

Squawk! "Father Kirridell Jinae, I presume!" the raven squawks from its perch on Votun's shoulder as they all approach Isker's Blacksmith.

Isker looks down, even at the tall half-orc, and booms in his "inside" voice, "Ho Jorgo! Business be as good as yours! Your absolutely right, folks is scared half to death with what's out in this unnat'ral winter! I don't have too much left by way of cold iron, had to send Xanthippe to that crazy trader what lives southeast o' here at the single peak to get some more mountain ore. Just south of the Gilded Vale woods." He scratches an armpit thoughtfully, "Come to think of it...she should be back today. Other'n this cold iron handaxe and this cold iron longsword. I'll be able to make somethin' else once Xanthi gets back."

He squints at Jorgo, and the rest, then says, [b]"Well, I can part with axe for twelve gold and the longsword for thirty gold."

"Well, I've got 23 gold left. Jorgo, if you have seven more, we can loan the longsword to Sigrun, and you can carry my Feyswatter. We can settle accounts when we return," Votun offers.

Frozen Stream Human Monk/12

Going to wait for the good father to respond before going on...he would be in the doorway or just in the shop if I'm playing this out right in my head. Either way...he'd hear what the blacksmith had to say.

«We’d both be drained dry, old man… didn’t figure you taxpaying Taldori for such generous spenders!» Jorgo scratches his head. «Aye, I can get seven coins… and you know I always liked me the balance of your headbasher. Gorum knows I’m no good with a longblade, but a solid mace I can swing like the best o’ the Roughnecks back west!»

The half-orc grabs his purse and counts seven coins. He looks at his meager finances with a sigh «We better find them bandits, and they better have some stolen riches hidden away for us to grab, or I’d be scraping pans at the Stout in my free time…»

Kirridell arrives at the Blacksmiths to discover his 'friends' already deep in discussion with a man who he assumes to be the proprietor of the premises. Having heard the price of the weaponry and realising it is beyond the reach of his meagre finances, Kirridell tries his hand at negotiation.

"You say twelve gold for the Axe and I agree, that is a fair price...however it is beyond what I, a simple travelling priest of Iomodae, can pay at this time...I would like to make a proposal, if I may?"

Time to see if the Taldans negotiate as hard as the Pirates of the Shackles

"Our exploration of the Border Woods will, we believe, bring us into direct conflict with the Fey...hence my friends' interest in Cold Iron", Kirridell nods at Jorgo and Votun, "I would offer my sword in part exchange for a weapon of Cold Iron but it belongs to my Church....in fact, this very sword has been carried for several centuries by travelling pilgrims such as I"

Kirridell pauses briefly to assess Isker's response...

"If you would be willing to loan me the Cold Iron axe for a reduced price, say six gold?, with a guarantee of returning it upon my return to Helgren, maybe I could do you the service of blessing your forge in the name of Iomodae?"

I could go as far as ten gold but that will leave me nothing for clothes or rations...it is of no use to be protected against the Fey if the cold gets me first. Of course, this sword could be sold, it is no more holy then the shoes I wear but let's see what kind of deal this 'Smith drives...

GM - Would you like any kind of skill roll to see how persuasive Kirridell has been?

Frozen Stream Human Monk/12

Give me a Diplomacy roll. Add +2 for your persuasive speech. And you're sure that you, the Iomedan cleric, want to go for the axe?

Human Cleric 1; HP 8/8, Channel Energy 5/8, Touch of Good 7/7, Touch of Glory 6/7, Initiative 0, Perception +4

This Iomodaen cleric would definitely prefer the sword but it is well out of my price range!!! Better to hang onto the standard Longsword for non Fey and improvise with an axe for the Fey... I expect I'll be at the back praying and healing when we encounter the Wintertouched anyway!!!

Diplomacy Roll (+7 standard and +2 for speech): 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (14) + 9 = 23

Kirridell's words are persuasive indeed...years of bargaining in the Shackles had left their indelible mark...but was it enough to sway this Taldan Blacksmith?

Frozen Stream Human Monk/12

"Heh, can't say as our Elder ever offered to bless me forge. Tell ya what, you agree to preside over Xanthi's (someday) wedding too and you can borrow that axe for the cost of repairin' it when you bring it back. Call it four gold upfront."

He scratches his armpit again and looks back at the other two, "An' you shoulda mentioned you were plannin' on takin' care of what's goin' on in those woods. I'll offer the same deal, call it ten gold upfront. An' you got to promise to COME to Xanthi's wedding, whenever it happens."

Ok, I completely lost track of weapons and expenses now.

with 23 gp from Votun and 7 from Jorgo we purchased the Smithy's sword for Kirridell.

Colberg has the bodyguard's cold iron longsword.

I'm assuming Votun doesn't really need a melee weapon.

That leaves Jorgo and Sigrun in need of Feyswatter or something else.

If Kirridell manages to purchase the axe, Sigrun can use the axe and Jorgo the morning star.

But now the Smithy/GM mentioned a discount.

So do I need to cancel 7 gp from Jorgo's purse?

Can somebody please point out mistakes/corrections in my summary?

Frozen Stream Human Monk/12

LOL sorry Jorgo. The way it happened (at least in my head) Kirridell was trailing closely behind you two at the smithy, and would have heard the conversation you and Votun had with Isker.

So, Kirridell offered to bless the alter, and agreed to preside over Isker's daughter's wedding, and had a VERY successful diplomacy roll. This gave a discount to make the cost of the axe 4 gold and the longsword 10 gold.

So yes, as of right now, you have:
2 Cold Iron Longswords
1 Cold Iron Axe
1 Cold Iron Morningstart (Votun's)

Human Cleric 1; HP 8/8, Channel Energy 5/8, Touch of Good 7/7, Touch of Glory 6/7, Initiative 0, Perception +4

Kirridell smiles at the kind offer, "I would, of course, be honoured to preside over Xanthi's wedding"

Let's hope that the Elder is not too offended by this...

Reaching into his money pouch, Kirridell takes four pieces of gold and hands them to Isker, "You are a fair man and an ally to Justice...may Iomodae smile upon you". Taking the axe in his hands, Kirridell assesses the weight and balance of this unfamiliar weapon...

It will serve, when the time comes...

"I will return before we depart for the Border Woods and perform the ceremony of Iomodae's blessing", Kirridell smiles at the blacksmith and then, nodding to Jorgo and Votun, "Gentlemen, I have business to attend to at the General Store, I propose we meet at the Silver Stoat within the hour?"

With that, Kirridell pulls his jacket around his neck and steps out into the snow...

Kirridell will head to the General Store and purchase Winter Clothing and Snowshoes and will then return to the Stoat - prior to the Blacksmiths, Kirridell had 10GP, what is he on now?

Frozen Stream Human Monk/12

If you had 10gp before the blacksmith, then you should have 6gp left. But remember, you're known around town and townsfolk are properly reverent towards clergymen...

Squawk!

Votun paid the 10 gp deposit for Isker's longsword and gave it to Sigrun. Votun loaned his Feyswatter to Jorgo. Votun doesn't carry a melee weapon. I had planned to find a club.

Kirridell could pay the 4 gp for the cold iron hand axe, but he needs Cold Weather gear that costs 8 gp at the General Store. It would be better if he had snowshoes costing 5 gp. If Kirridell had been in the General Store with Votun and the others, he would have benefited from his generosity.

Let's please equip as soon as possible and get on the road.

Jorgo keeps the door open for his companions to reenter the Silver Stoat.
«Ah, Colberg! » he greets the dwarf. «We are ready now, you restless piece of work!» he gets closer to the dwarf «Sorry about Tess – didn’t mean to make you nervous – but better safe than sorry with her, believe you me. She can mix nitrates and sulfur like Asmodeus himself! »

Then he turns towards the counter «Kale! Kale, you marvelous taldori rose, you’re wasted behind that counter! How ‘bout a last round on the house before we head for the woods?» yells Jorgo, with clear intention of having the whole tavern hear him «We’ll come back with some pretty wolves’s pelts and the bandits’ hands in a bag, you’ll see!» he roars enthusiastic and optimistic.

While his companions get the last pieces of equipment to deal with the weather, the half-orc settles in a corner of the tavern, opens up a small book and mixes the content of a couple of vials. Then packs everything back the way it was and stands up. «So! Are we ready?»

Jorgo didn’t spend a dime so far; he already had the cold-weather outfit, the snowshoes have been bought by Votun and the weapon borrowed.

Assuming the alchemic mutagen is already prepared, Jorgo will spend two minutes preparing extracts of Cure Light Wounds and Enlarge Person. Then he is ready to go.

Colberg unfurls is wrinkly map on the table and points to several areas on the map, "These are all areas that I believe bandits could be hiding, the closest several of which are probably in out interest to check out first. However, Kale tells me that the High Sentinel Lodge is probably already looking for the bandits and likely has some information that could help us. I think we should go there first and see what they have to say about it." Colberg looks around the table then sits down.

"Master Dwarf. That sounds like a good plan. An alternative would be to start from the Dansby farm. Bandits have been thieving there. Since the High Sentinels are much more dangerous than farmers, I suspect the bandits would be more prepared against the Lodge than the Dansby's"

The door of the Silver Stoat swung open another time, letting in a blast of cold air and a flurry of snow, Kirridell slammed the door behind him and apologetically smiled at those customers of the tavern who had stared reproachfully at his, somewhat frigid, entrance. Seeing Jorgo, the Dwarf and the elderly Human sitting together, he places an order for something warming at the bar and sits with his erstwhile companions.

“Gentlemen, how have your preparations gone? Are you ready to venture forth and, more pertinently, where should we focus our search?”

Kirridell will inform the others of Tessaraea’s offer to sell further Alchemists Fire at cost (I’m not sure we know what ‘cost’ actually is though) and will try to clarify who is going to own which Cold Iron Weapon (Kirridell is happy to wield his normal sword for non-Fey and the Cold Iron axe for the Fey – however, if he ends up with the Cold Iron Sword, he will look to trade his Longsword in for whatever financial shortfall he has on Cold Weather Clothing / Snowshoes and, if he can afford it, contribution towards more Alchemical Fire).

GM – I am happy for you to ‘handwave’ any further shopping visits to the Apothecary / General Store

Indicating that he is ready, if not even a little impatient to leave, Kirridell continues, “I have performed my blessing at the Blacksmiths, have offered a prayer to Iomodae at the Temple and am ready. Every minute we tarry, is another minute that the Lady Argentea’s life remains in peril”.

Jorgo puts the vials in his belt and makes for the door «I agree, Dansby’s nearer and we should at least pass by before going deep into the woods!» he weights Feyswatter in his hand, trying to get used to the feeling of the weapon.
«I can be the vanguard – I know the woods as well as anyone else, and I’m just dying to throw some o’ the hot stuff on some creepy winter monster!»

1. I vote for Dansby's. It's nearer, we should at least pass by.
2. Jorgo has Votun's morningstar. And his fiery bombs. I'm thinking the longswords are better in the hands of Kirridell and Sigrun and Colberg can use the axe? I'm also ok with giving the morningstar to Colberg so he can use two hands - in that case though I prepare Shield instead of Enlarge Person since I'll be fighting from a distance with bombs. Also EVERYONE remeber you have flask of alchemist fire.
3. Jorgo would be ok with the most dangerous position - either vanguard or rearguard. I don't know if Colberg is going to be vanguard or if he's doing the "lone ranger several yards to the side" thing.

"I say we check in on Dansby on the way to the High Sentinel's Lodge...maybe he can tell us something of use and, at the very least, with what we know about the Woods, we should check on his safety", Kirridell continues...looking at Votun with the slightest touch of sarcasm in his voice, "...then we can see what your taxes are paying for at the Lodge"

Kirridell would prefer the Longsword, if the Dwarf is willing to use the axe...if so, Kirridell will look to trade in his normal Longsword and purchase...with the six GP he already has, Snowshoes and a Cold Weather Outfit....if the trade in doesn't get him to what he needs to buy the Cold Weather Outfit, he'll just buy Snowshoes...

In terms of Marching Order, Kirridell will, for linear marching, be between Votun and Jorgo (I am assuming Jorgo is going rearguard?)

Frozen Stream Human Monk/12

If Colberg takes the axe, trading your longsword will indeed net you the Cold Weather AND snowshoes.

Quick note on the snowshoes you bought in town. These are not regularly made here as it doesn't *usually* snow like this. That said, they have half the hp of regular snowshoes.

Colberg took the cold iron longsword in RP. He's also a full BAB character with 16 Str and Power Attack. Kirridell can try to get his, but I think it is better with Colberg.

The second CI longsword was bargained and paid by Votun in RP to be given to Sigrun, another full BAB character with 16 Str. Also, she should have one.

If anyone is giving up a CI melee weapon, it could be Jorgo with his bombs, but he's not proficient with the hand-axe, which can't get two-handed bonus damage, because it's a light weapon.

Yup. Sigrun will carry the Cold Iron Longsword for use against Fey and use her battle axe or Lucerne hammer against Non-Fey.

Since Colberg can track being a bit ahead of the group should make sense to provide ample warning of danger, with Sigrun next, up front to face any threat and more experience in ice and snow than the others.

"I do not know the area as well as you all so I trust wherever you decide." Sigrun says as she buckles the Cold Iron Longsword onto the hip.

"Iomodae would see me using a sword...it is a weapon of justice and honour...but given the choice, I think maybe our friend here", gesturing at the Dwarf, "would be best served by use of the Cold Iron Blade"

Votun has called it...Kirridell will stick with the cold iron axe and standard Longsword...Given that, he will use five GP to purchase snowshoes and forego the Cold Weather Outfit (trusting in his training in Survival and hoping that he will get further opportunities to obtain appropriate clothing if the winter persists)

Frozen Stream Human Monk/12

OK! Sounds like we are all in agreement then on who's carrying what. So we'll proceed towards the farm then.

As you are walking on the road towards Dansby's farm, you notice the air getting cooler and you begin to see a light dusting of snow here and there. About a mile from the farm and half a mile from the Border Woods you see he road ahead littered with debris and the corpses of slain
humans and horses. A carriage stands in the roadway, its team of horses missing or cut free, while another overturned carriage lies sprawled and broken next to the tree line. To the south, more bodies have fallen around what appears to be a statue of ice. A snowy trail leads deeper into the forest.

Map to come shortly.

You notice the carriage that is still standing has a spear wedged into the handles to effectively "lock" the doors shut. There are marks of Taldan heraldry and damage from many arrows. You think you can hear some muffled sound from inside the carriage.

The further carriage, knocked on its side, is wrecked and the door is missing.

The bodies you see leave no mistake, there are no survivors here. Tiny needles and puncture holes you can't seem to identify mark most of the bodies. They have all been stripped of armor and weapons.

Finally Colberg starts circling the camp looking for tracks or clues to what caused this and where they are headed.
Survival: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25

He does all this in calculated silence as though on autopilot.

Frozen Stream Human Monk/12

Colberg's check of the bodies show that they've been dead for some time, maybe a few days. The chill in the air (just above freezing) has kept the bodies from decomposing much and driving off the bugs and animals that would normally feast. He still can't tell what the puncture wounds might be, other than they are round shaped.

The statue contains most of a body encased in ice. Judging by the crest you can see on his breastplate through the ice, he is some sort of mid-ranked officer of the Taldan nation. Pieces of the frozen body are at the feet of the statue, one of which is an arm with a longsword. The ice is slowly melting, but you can't tell exactly how long as you are not sure when how long the air has been this cold. You would guess the man was made as an example around the time the rest of the people here were slain.

The trail leads off to the south, towards the Border Wood. You note many tracks of feet and a solid trail of something being dragged. It is an obvious trail that will take pretty much no skill to follow.

Frozen Stream Human Monk/12

That's a good idea Votun, I'm usually hesitant to roll for players though. In this particular case, your rolls are pretty much unnecessary though...the sounds could be heard by all without a perception check. The trail requires no roll, it is that obvious. The statue doesn't require a roll either...except to try and identify who it might have been...

Votun:

The small puncture wounds on the bodies remind you of a particular type of winter magic related to icicles. Although the size and amount of holes on any given body are too small and too many to be the normal spell you know of...

Your attempt to remember anything about the Taldoran nobility or local people here bring nothing more to your mind.

The problem now is that players are getting information by acting, because they happen to online and posting. This leaves the unlucky players behind. Frozen Stream Human Monk/12

Fair enough, if everyone else is OK with me rolling for things like Perception, Knowledge Local, and other "normal" type things in a new area then I will do so and make a spoiler list. This will definitely speed up play AND allow for a more organic story to unfold.

Munin:

There are a few seeds but no worms to eat that you see :)

Sigrun moves forward, her face expressionless, familiar with the sight of raids and more brutal attacks. As she scans the area, she searches for both signs of where the attackers may have come from or gone to, her mind trying to discern the intent of the attacked by their actions.

Sense Motive1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17

As Votun indicates the noise coming from the wagon, the warrior maiden makes her way over towards it, drawing her axe as she removes the spear.

hp 6/11, bombs 3/4; Male Half-Orc Alchemist 1

«These poor bastards have been dead for days…» comments Jorgo «There’s little hope that whatever’s still moving in the carriage is a survivor. Still… that spear looks weird…»

The half-orc walks towards the carriage, the axe in hand. When he gets a few feet from it he stops and knocks on the door with axe handle, hard enough to be heard from inside. Then he says in a powerful voice «Ohi, in the carriage! If you can understand what I’m saying, groan three times!»
He takes a step back and raises the axe in striking position.

I ready an attack if something menacing comes out all of a sudden
Attack roll: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11
damage: 1d12 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12

Frozen Stream Human Monk/12

The door pops open and a pair of zombies inside groan menacingly at you...three times.

Jorgo's axe barely misses the first zombie.

Jorgo, Sigrun, I moved your pictures to where I think you meant to be (by the carriage). In the future, before you declare actions like attacking and removing stuff, please move your pics on the map to where you want. Thanks!

Votun, when you give your actions in combat, give me both you and your raven and I'll resolve how they happen...if your raven's actions are unnecessary I won't burn any spells or the like.

Init Rolls:

Posting out of Initiative Order to keep things moving along

The sudden explosion in violence as the zombies climb from the toppled wagon stops Kirridell's quiet contemplation of the fallen. Moving to a position near Jorgo, the good father holds his symbol of Iomodae aloft and calls forth the divine judgement of his goddess...

Kirridell will move to K8 and will Channel Positive Energy to cause damage to Undead Creatures within 30ft.
Damage to Undead =1d6 ⇒ 1, Will Save DC16 for half damage

GM, thanks for postively taking constructive criticism. We all want a great game. Another thing: you can't post the link to the map too many times. Plus, Kirridell is right to post out of initiative order to speed play. Then, when the GM has a minute he can post updates of what actions have been taken.

Votun steps up and gives the first zombie he sees the Evil Eye.

Yep, out of order is good and I will resolve. I keep the initiative tracker up as a gentle reminder of who's next though :)

Female Half Elf Shaman 4

Aaannndddd postin.

WotR - A | Drezen | WotR - B | Righteous Medals

Alrighty, I've sent PM's to our new members about where they are.

We can resume play once I update the Gameplay thread!

Female Human (Ulfen) Barbarian (Indomitable Rager) 13
Vitals:
HP: 154/154 {198/202 when raging} | AC: 24; T: 13; FF: 20; CMD: 29 | Fort: +15 (+16); Ref: +10; Will: +9 (+11/+13) | Init: +3; Perc: +14; Stealth +12; Survival +18

I'll post my action and worry about the order later.

WotR - A | Drezen | WotR - B | Righteous Medals

Works for me! I'll adjudicate as necessary.

WotR - A | Drezen | WotR - B | Righteous Medals

BUMP Kirridell, Jorgo, and Sigrun :)

I'll GM PC their actions by tonight.

Your last post was this:"Kirridell, Jorgo, then bandits. Oliver and Seila you can take actions pretty much whenever but if it needs to be adjudicated I will step in."

So I was waiting for the others and the bandits. If need be I'll post to get things moving. The narrative trumps initiative I figure.

WotR - A | Drezen | WotR - B | Righteous Medals

AHA! You are correct...I did not mean to type Sigrun! :)

hp 6/11, bombs 3/4; Male Half-Orc Alchemist 1

I am waiting for Kirridel.

Anyway, Jorgo will try to Intimidate into submissions the remaining bandits - not demoralize them, but making them actually stop fighting.

WotR - A | Drezen | WotR - B | Righteous Medals

OK I am going to GMPC Kirridell this round.

I will be out of town on a work conference from 10/7-10/11. I should have internet...but I don't know what kind of access I will have via pc. I have my phone but posts may be a little to-the-point if that's my only option.

Human Cleric 1; HP 8/8, Channel Energy 5/8, Touch of Good 7/7, Touch of Glory 6/7, Initiative 0, Perception +4

Sorry All, have been moving house....this time out of rental into bought.....hooray!!!

Back online and raring to go.....

WotR - A | Drezen | WotR - B | Righteous Medals

Congrats Kirridell!!

If you wish to retcon the action I took for you feel free. Otherwise the bandits are currently going to be scared. One or two might only be shaken but Jorgo's pretty nightmarish right now.

Human Cleric 1; HP 8/8, Channel Energy 5/8, Touch of Good 7/7, Touch of Glory 6/7, Initiative 0, Perception +4

No need to Retcon....it would have been the action I would have taken. I think Kirridell is definitely a 'stay at the edges of the fight and shout encouragement' kind of guy!!!

WotR - A | Drezen | WotR - B | Righteous Medals

I have finally returned from my work conference where I did NOT have any ability to post. I will get caught up and post something soon!

Ok forgot to explicitly post it, but Sigrun stopped raging after opponents were taken out so that; 2 rounds of rage followed by 4 rounds of fatigue. She should be back to normal by now.

WotR - A | Drezen | WotR - B | Righteous Medals

I figured but thanks :)

WotR - A | Drezen | WotR - B | Righteous Medals

Sorry all, meant to update yesterday but I was sick and slept all day.

WotR - A | Drezen | WotR - B | Righteous Medals

Going to PM Jorgo and see if I can get an action soon.

WotR - A | Drezen | WotR - B | Righteous Medals

Sorry all, in training at work so posting may be sporadic this week.

We'll be here.

WotR - A | Drezen | WotR - B | Righteous Medals

Jorgo, I forgot where we landed on this but I will allow 1 more round of bigness if you wish it.

All, quick question I'm posing in my games, if we go 24 hours waiting for a character, I will DMPC those actions. Is that good for everyone?

Human Cleric 1; HP 8/8, Channel Energy 5/8, Touch of Good 7/7, Touch of Glory 6/7, Initiative 0, Perception +4

I think a 24 hour rule is entirely sensible...and, especially during combats, will keep things moving along.

hp 6/11, bombs 3/4; Male Half-Orc Alchemist 1

I feel ok going back to Medium this round. You already gave me an extra Large round for the table stunt, that's enoungh.

WotR - A | Drezen | WotR - B | Righteous Medals

Happy Turkey everyone that is celebrating!

WotR - A | Drezen | WotR - B | Righteous Medals

Back at it! Sorry for the long holiday but...it was a lot of good times.

Any of our international players, please let me know about holidays (so I can wish you a happy XXXXXX Day)

Male Half-elf Oracle 1 (AC: 17 [T: 13 /FF: 14]; HP: 17/17; F+3, R+5, W+6 (+3 more with Taint); Init: -1; Perc: +7 [Low-light vision])

Sorry for the minimal posting, but it's the end of the semester and I'm dealing with end of class work and preparing for finals. I may not be able to post often until after 14 Dec.

WotR - A | Drezen | WotR - B | Righteous Medals

This time of year is hard for pretty much everyone. No worries.

WotR - A | Drezen | WotR - B | Righteous Medals

Pssst...Oliver check you messages :)

WotR - A | Drezen | WotR - B | Righteous Medals

All, Merry Christmas and Christmas Eve! I will likely have a post on Christmas night.

WotR - A | Drezen | WotR - B | Righteous Medals

Hey all, I'm going to be heavily invested in RPG Super Star voting from today through the weekend. Please feel free to do stuff gamewise but I won't have a post until Monday.

WotR - A | Drezen | WotR - B | Righteous Medals

OK Holidays are over so let's get it rolling again. Oliver...what do you want to do.

Sigrun and the others.

Sigrun you can get to the mephit before it wings away...what you wanna do.

The rest...taking your time across the bridge will mean you can't get to the mephit in time.

Male Half-elf Oracle 1 (AC: 17 [T: 13 /FF: 14]; HP: 17/17; F+3, R+5, W+6 (+3 more with Taint); Init: -1; Perc: +7 [Low-light vision])

Oliver will likely be out of play during the fight at the bridge, as you said it would take about 10 minutes for him to finish looking over the lodge. No worries, I put myself in that position so I don't mind being out of it while the bridge fight gets resolved.

WotR - A | Drezen | WotR - B | Righteous Medals

With great resignation I am going to have to shut this game down. To the new recruits, thank you very much for playing.

To the originals, thank you very much as well.

I am to blame for the pacing of the game and for it shutting down. I'll leave these threads open for a week and then ask for them to be deactivated.

Thank you again and I am sorry.

Human Cleric 1; HP 8/8, Channel Energy 5/8, Touch of Good 7/7, Touch of Glory 6/7, Initiative 0, Perception +4

I agree that this game seems to have wound towards a natural (if untimely) end. Thanks for running it as far as you did and for persevering through one additional recruitment drive...these things happen from time to time, the best you can do is to think about what went astray and how to avoid it in the future (For what it is worth, I think it all got a bit too confusing / unfocused after the rescue in the lodge; I, for one, lost track of what was occurring and inevitably I stopped caring quite as much as I should have....)

Still, I am sure Kirridell will find adventures elsewhere and we'll bump into each other on these boards again...,

Happy Gaming!!!!
