“Damn! No rest for the weary.” Tossing aside his protein bar, Rin draws and fires at the exile but misses to his left, bullet whining off the floor.

Pistol: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 91d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6

Holstering his sidearm, Rin leans against the wall and pulls out a protein bar. ”Its certainly been a full afternoon here.”. Wandering over to by Roddy, Rin looks at the door and tries to determine if it’s unlocked or coded.

Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22

Rin moves through the doorway to the west side of the room, firing down range at the Exile. Given the creature's demeanor, Rin decides to risk a pair of shots. "Steady, steady"

Semi: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (13) + 0 = 131d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

Rin follows behind Hagitha and keeps his pistol at the ready. "I'm following you Hagitha, let's find the next space."

Rin maneuvers through the doorway, firing with his Semi-Auto Pistol at the closest Beast. "Anyone know what these walking teeth are?"

"Well after that welcome, perhaps a bit more of an aggressive posture" Rin draws his semi-auto pistol and steps into the hallway.

Sorry for little slow this week crew, crap work week. Back at it!

Rin rushes over to the control panel and attempts to bypass the security system. "Ahh, yes, a Teleshot Model 54. I got this, hold a second"

Engineering: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26

”As can I” mutters Rin as he slumps down against the wall, clearly exhausted from these exertions.

”I think we should probably continue forward after the breather. If this fellow can make it back on his own, I’m comfortable with him heading out.”

Rin races for the shelter of the ruins and to catchup to the others, having apparently mastered his cloak for protection from the flying debris.

Fort: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (19) + 0 = 19

Seeing that Roddy has made some progress, Rin pushes on towards the shelter, managing to cover himself from the storm and keep the cuts from obscuring his vision.

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20

Rin steps to the rail and looks down at Roddy. Giving a small wave, he gestures in his direction and yells into the storm. "Ok it sounds a bit more impressive than it is. I need you to jump up quickly and I'll hit you with it!" Waiting for Roddy to leap up, Rin expends energy and taps a controller on his wrist at the right moment.

With a satisfied grin, Rin looks down hoping it's worked. That smile drops as soon as he's cut again from another razor leaf. "Ouch man, I'm getting to cover"

Flight at this level means you fall really slow, so shouldn't take any damage for repeated attempts

Making sure his gear is about him, Rin makes for the bridge doing his best to steady himself against the wind and swaying metal. Having some faith in Twila-5's handiwork and watching Hagitha's steady progress, Rin gives a silent prayer and takes his first step. This certainly isn't my strength

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 1 = 19

With a bit of renewed confidence, Rin continues on for the other side. Yelling to Twila-5, "I don't have any more cable, but I can enchant Roddy if he wants to fly up here!"

Fortitude: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (6) + 0 = 6

Rin pulls his packs round to the front and quickly recovers a bundle of titanium line. ”Here Twila, will this help you?”.

Awaiting the work on the bridge, Rin attempts to cover himself from the storm debris and manages to use his coat to shield his face and neck from the worst of the flying shrapnel.

Rin stumbles through the storm and struggles to keep his gear around him. Precisely the type of mission I hate. Damn where’s my console and coffee

Each hour, the storm manages to cause Rin further struggles. Slips, falls and several cuts on his face lend to further disheveling his appearances. Arriving at rim of the gorge, Rin crouches down. ”Are we there yet? Everything aches”

Rin tries to keep up with the whirling conversations and inject a little bit about their backgrounds and interests and keep the beings interested in their search for the facility.

Well damn, that worked. Chock one up to the half attended lectures at flight acacdemy. Working in tandem with Twila and Roddy, Rin attempts to fill in gaps on who they are and where they are from.

Signaling further, Rin asks ”Have you been visited by others from afar?”

Entranced by the scenery and approach of the humanoids, Rin hangs to the back of the group. Keeping his tac pistol out of sight, Rin tries to remember if he has heard anything of this culture.

"I agree Twila, this is a beautiful planet. They are almost ethereal looking"

Slowed from his errant maneuver, Rin isn't sure where the creature will head next. Figuring it's slow turning radius will help, Rin leans the Pegasus into a turn to starboard to come across it's path. "Hoping this give us a good shot with the coilgun"

Ok I have clearly angered the dice bot with three 1's in a row.

"I'm not liking the looks of our forward shields, I'll try and bring us broadside to it to minimize the damage but watch out for those quills!"

Racing towards the Whelp, Rin pulls the Pegasus to the port side at the last minute and tries to juke the ship hard to avoid incoming fire. Something bangs loudly on the rear of the ship and Rin curses to himself.

Piloting, Evasion: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (1) + 12 = 13

Rin flinches as the Whelp flies by viewscreen and hopes that the shields hold off any structural damage from the large claws. Banking hard to the starboard, Rin yells back to Twila-5 "Keep the news coming, I'll aim us for the weak port side shield."

Piloting, Evasion: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (6) + 12 = 18

Seeing the fusillade of fire leap from the Pegasus into the Whelp, Rin celebrates from the pilot's console, "Wooohooo, nice shooting team! Now let's give it some more hurt and get it out of here." Adjusting the pitch of the engines, Rin swings the ship around to the port and after a slow turn, lines the Pegasus up on the Besmaran. "She'll hold together for another bite but I'll give it a little action for a bit of edge."

Piloting, Evasion: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (12) + 11 = 23

Realizing he has closed the distance too quickly, Rin slams the stick to the starboard and attempts to slide past the creature. The Pegasus lurches hard to starboard, with Rin just barely keeping the nose to the plane of attack. "Come on you old bucket, don't leave me in a lurch"

Piloting, Slide Maneuver DC 13: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (3) + 11 = 14

At the sight of the creature on the scanners, Rin smoothly slips into the pilot console and begins to make a series of rapid adjustments and modifications to the settings. Intensely concentrating, it's clear that Rin is familiar with the Pegasus and moves with practiced rapidity to bring the ship to combat.

Upon hearing Roddy's shout, Rin grasps the controls and rolls the ship to the starboard. "I'll try and keep it in our front quadrant, give it all that we got!" Hoping his modifications have settled in, Rin maneuvers for position.

Piloting, Maneuver DC 18: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (18) + 11 = 29

Grabbing the last of the pastries left out for the briefing, Rin smiles "Ready to head out into the deep night my companions."

Rin is a decent pilot at +11, but can do computers pretty close at +10 and happy to drive or do something else.

Pegasus sounds good

Rin gives a hearty grip to Roddy. "Pleasure my fellow Starfinder. I'm not antsy, just if I stay in the station too long I get a bit voidsick. Gotta be out there burning Society fuel or they'll retire me and I'll have to get a legit job." Turning away at Twila's approach, Rin also greets her warmly and demurs on her skills as a pilot. "I'm sure you're more than adequate and better than I."

Fading back to the wall when Guidance begins, Rin jots a few notes on a small pad with a pen. Listening carefully to his companions, he proceeds "Guidance, do you think that this location has remained known only to the Starfinders or do you think others may be interested in a potentially rich find? Just want to know if this is a leisure cruise or a turn and burn exercise."

Culture check: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24

I'm best at piloting at a +11 but can help with engineering or science officer as well

Casually walking through the door, Rin Jabo enters the briefing room and quickly realizes he's later to the briefing than rest of his fellow Starfinders. Coffee in one hand and a half eaten protein bar in the other, Rin quickly tries to brush the crumbs from the front of his stained flightsuit, managing to spill a bit more on the clearly hopeless garment. "Damn, who fills these this full."

A middle-aged Damaya Lashunta, Rin's fitter days appear to be behind him and he doesn't have a lot of hair left except for a bushy moustache that would be more fitting on a human. An old semi-auto and baton hangs on his belt over microcord, none of which look particularly new.

Shuffling to the edge of the room, Rin leans against the wall and gestures to the room with his coffee cup in a slight toast. "Hello fellow Starfinders! Rin Jabo, Pilot and Companion ready to set out on our next mission. Anybody get a glimpse yet at what the servers have for us this time?"

Drinking a cup of the finest he can scrounge onboard, Rin Jabo enters the lounge and looks up at his companions. In his middle years, Rin appears to have just rolled out of his bunk, clothing looking like it had been slept in for the entire week. Balding and a bit paunchy, Rin appears to be a bit past his best shape, and his pistol and baton at his hip don't look well used. Despite his appearance, he's beaming and happy to see his fellow Starfinders.

"Morning my fellow travelers and Starfinders! My, we have a good looking group for this go round." Moving over the table to look for stray food, Rin keeps talking, a few protein bar fragments coming to his mouth. "It's good to be a little further out. I haven't had much of an opportunity to fly since commencement and I'm itching to.." Rin stops in amazement when he finally catches sight of Gogglez's drone rolling around, pistols out. Looking to Bones and Vecro, he looks a bit concerned. "That thing hasn't shot anyone yet has it? The drone is armed already? What are we getting into?"

No 1-12 for Rin

"I prefer to be protected by shields and a red-lined engine. But hey, I'll take the faith of companions too."

Hey the curtain’s got to close sometime! Thank you all for an enjoyable and memorable game. One of the best I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing in a while.

"Right Professor" Rin races over to the panel and tries to correct the artificial gravity and checks inventory for a biocontainment unit.

Computers: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12

Looking into the room, Rin follows Kat's direction and peers into the corner. "Creepy, look at that thing."

Considering Mega's comment, Rin looks helpless "I got things that go boom and bang, sleep is not my specialty."

"Well we should go about opening this door. I can help but I'm not a brute." Rin claps his hands together and moves to the door to try and help push.

Surprised at seeing the kids, Rin is relieved the Professor engages quickly. Turning back to the interface, Rin quickly searches for missing children or sees if the facial recognition identifies who they are.

Right Professor! Turning to Kat and the others, Rin smiles "Cover us folks, it's been too good of a day to become a remembered Starfinder.."

Stepping over to the console, Rin tries to log in

"Now that's a ship, look at the size of it. I need me one of these to run the gambit on someday." Almost the affected tourist, Rin tries to take in all that he can in the docking bay.

After the Ysoki finishes, Rin goes back and grabs his pack and gear from the shuttle. Holstering the sidearm, he looks to the others "E-deck then? Can't be anything terrible about hunting some problem in the dark huh?"

"I've thought about a career in these types of gigs, but hey, I just got IN the Starfinders! Too busy to quit on the first day" Rin smiles on through the pretzel bites, clearly pleased with the outcome.

Finishing his grub, Rin wipes his hands on his pants and looks up "What's next crew?"
