In the dank, salt-stained dark below, the party discovers corpses stuffed into the slowly filling bilge. They float like obscene dumplings in a sour ocean stew, bloated and weeks rotten.

heading down and helping lucretia to move the bodies out and find a way to stop the water getting into the bilge, there has to be a pump mechanism down hear somewhere. The wizard needs to search for a buoyancy spell.

I know "Medicine", I will check them to see what killed them and if their is a risk to us handling the bodies. As for fire, if we need to, we can burn them on the for deck without harming the boat, Just have to be careful, but i recommend salting the bodies later and giving them a water burial. We can use the spare sail cloth and the brine barrels from the hold, every boat carries them. Salt for keeping the meet and sail cloth for patching the sails.
