If Tiki is Tiny, and thus is smaller even than a gnome, how did Barrett reach him through/over/around the bar, let alone even know he was there? Did he realise Morgan hadn't disappeared but had instead turned into a Tiny tikiman he couldn't see?

Male Human Rogue6/Clr1 Current Map

I have Tiki +4 cover but to presume that he would have total concealment when he is 1-2' tall is a stretch. This is a hack bar and I have tended bar and have never NOT been able to see the floor in front of the bar. He would not be sure what has happened to Morgan, but knows that the Tiki IS there with a 14 INT. FYI, he is part Adept so is familiar with magic. If there was a square intervening I could see it, but he was at the diagonal to Tiki with only the thinnest part of the bar in between them.

Just waiting on Sandman's entrance attempt...

@GM I'm assuming if Morgan/Tiki wants to cast a spell he'll have to make a Concentration check as Barrett has him "in combat" as it were.

Female Human Wizard (Evoker) 5

After seeing Beth's entrance and not needing the door, "Run from here before you are hurt."to the serving wench. Jequette will cast mage armor on herself to prepare for a more physical combat and draw a silver dagger.

Male Human Rogue6/Clr1 Current Map

@Morgan if he is attempting to cast defensively, yes.

Male Human Rogue6/Clr1 Current Map

Here are the rules that apply here "Cover and Attacks of Opportunity
You can't execute an attack of opportunity against an opponent with cover relative to you."
So in actuality he is not subject to an AOO, but the question is whether Morgan/Tiki is aware of that which is why I answered the question why I did instead of the metagame answer.

Male Human Rogue6/Clr1 Current Map

Concealment - "When making a melee attack against an adjacent target, your target has concealment if his space is entirely within an effect that grants concealment."
Meaning all he has to be able to do is see part of the square. I ruled he could see less than half of Tiki giving him a +4 cover bonus.

Waiting on Obi, Sandman and Morgan. You can go in any order of those if you wish.

I was waiting on the GM to tell me when I'd closed the distance from outside.

The door crashed open and a terrifying figure ducked through, dragging a heavy war club behind him.

He moved like an animal, something predatory and simian, and cast his glowing eyes across the den of sin, drinking it all in.

The words on the mask rippled and ran down his chest to turn his entire body into a constantly changing stream of consciousness poem that differently to each person who saw them and the words were pulled right out of their minds to reveal their greatest shames and fears spelled out in the giant man's scars.

He locked eyes onto the man called Garreg, sprawled on the floor.

Don't.

Move.

Just curious again:
So did Garreg get sneak attack damage from prone due to flanking with a Dragoon?

Did Barrett cut his own foot off or are there no Fumbles?

Don't forget Obi, Silas and Nightmare Mask you are all hasted.

Male Human Rogue6/Clr1 Current Map

Dang, that didn't post. Yes, Obi is still flanked even though Garreg is prone. My fumbles are very simple, roll a Natural 1 and you are done. So if you roll a 1 and have more attacks coming, you lose them for the round, applies equally to the enemy. He cannot take any further actions and spends the rest of the round recovering his weapon from a slipped position. I have tried all sorts of crit and fumble tables over the years and just think simple is best for me. Sandman cannot be hasted, but Jequette can. Haste - Targets one creature/level, no two of which can be more than 30 ft. apart. Sandman is too far from the rest of the group.

Obi is mad now! You can see it in the crazy Nan's eyes, as he wheels around towards the individual behind him, who is trying to make his life miserable. I'm going to throttle Obi myself for removing flanking after Beth actually gave it to me. Plus I'm on 8 HP, but was staying in the fight to try and finish it.

Don't light Obi on fire! And I thought that since Beth came in, you wouldn't need Obi. Besides, Obi has some spell options that will help just as much. Makes me wish I had color spray today. Magic missile next round will give some breathing room.

Without the map can't guarantee Beth will be flanking. I know I wouldn't have chosen to sit where I was put for example.

Well, being the good swordsman, Obi wouldn't have gone away without a flanker for his fellow rapscallion Silas. So just substitute where necessary for the appropriate acrobatics and such to get him to flanking. That should still avail us a hydraulic push on the dude. May need to be dmpc-ed, as I work opening shift today. But I'll be available in the evening!

Male Human Rogue6/Clr1 Current Map

Beth is in flanking position so no worries Obi. Current HP status: Obi I have you at 10 (you missed the 8 HP from the Dragoon last round), Silas 13 and Jequette 22. The hydraulic push pushes the dragoon back 15', but the disarm attempts provoke as you do not have Improved Disarm Silas.

Garreg: 1d20 + 5 - 4 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 5 - 4 + 2 = 21
Dragoon5: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 5 + 2 = 13

Barrett now has to be concern about his bar on fire! He exclaims "Take 'im if ya want, just leave me bar!"

Garreg is now disarmed and prone and seemingly without assistance if the party takes him and leaves. In an untenable position, he surrenders.

It is a double move to get to that position so you would not have an action to cast a spell. The distance is 40'

Beth movement is 40', but you're right that if she tumble for the first step, it will take her a double move, so let's forget about the spell.
