Ke'ahilani |
Ke' herds the prisoners together and drops a healing bomb on the worse off one, healing him 4d6 + 5 ⇒ (1, 3, 5, 2) + 5 = 16 hit points and everyone else huddled around 9 hit points.
In the Old Republic game, there is a Kolto bomb ability which spatters green phosphorescent goo all over the area selected, healing your allies. I imagine the healing bomb like that.
"You've been slimed!"

A couple of the captives grab what they can and head toward the exit.
Oro-Tu |
I know there was a fight but don't remember anything else specific going on. If we are damaged we heal. If we find the new guy stuff we give him time to suit up.
Oro-Tu searches the area before proceeding with the team. Perception: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (15) + 13 = 28
Sivoth Lancathuel |
Among the captives, an elf slowly comes to a stand. Towering over the others and almost skeletally gaunt, he wipes his disheveled golden hair from his faintly glowing eyes and looks at those around him with a mixture of curiosity and revulsion. With slow, languorous strides that nonetheless manage to cover the distance quickly, he moves towards a small pile of sacks and satchels and picks a few from the collection.
Picking items from the bags, he speaks in elven. "First I am relentlessly pawed at by those verminous walking shark fiends, and now I am beset by the belligerent barking of round-eared mast monkeys from the mainland."
He pulls out a pair of bracers and sets them upon his wrists. With a flourish in his movements, he is suddenly garbed in the most ostentatious of fashions just in time for him to place a previously nonexistent top hat upon his head.
He turns to note the Tulita among the group that have liberated him, and now he speaks in Island Tulita: "Truly, my queen's wicked sense of humor borders on the sadistic. Might I presume that you vouch for these pillagers?" He sends an indicative nod towards the bard, swashbuckler, and priest.
Reaching into another bag, he pulls out a bandolier and cinches it into place. Popping the clasp on a small pouch upon the bandolier, he pull out a wicked-looking musket with surprising fluidity. It jingles with collected fetishes and war trophies, including more than a few unnaturally large shark-teeth.
He now finally speaks in common: "These pusillanimous pustules bearing the sharks' visage need a healthy dose of well-deserved death. ISH HAKESH!"
His musket glows and jerks slightly at the obvious command word being spoken.
"If it is your aim to introduce those malignant malefactors to their fell deity inch by screaming inch, then know that I shall assist you. I shall familiarize them most intimately with the wrath of fire."
Oro-Tu |
Oro-Tu chuckles at the sight and nods responding in Tulita, "Protectors, Oro-Tu vouches for them."
He claps his hands together when the elf is finished and stalks towards the entrance to the next area. "Magic of the Black Shark here. Be careful."
Holding his polearm he leads the way, looking for signs of what might be ahead.
Stealth: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (9) + 9 = 18
Sivoth Lancathuel |
Sivoth places a monocle over his right eye and moves forward, sticking close to Oro-Tu while directing the occasional wary glance at the non-Tulita.
”Black Shark, hmm?” He comments in island Tulita, with a near whisper. ”Is its magic immune to bullets? It is rare indeed when a healthy dose of lead applied to the face fails to remedy an infestation of all manner of deplorables.”
Any useful information I can glean about the Black Shark bit? Religion, maybe?
Knowledge Religion: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (12) + 11 = 23
Ke'ahilani |
"...Might I presume that you vouch for these pillagers?" He sends an indicative nod towards the bard, swashbuckler, and priest.
Drawing on his pipe, Ke' looked with interest on the new guy's musketoon.
"Your accent is very interesting, mister?..."He glanced over to his companions.
"Oh, them? Yes, yes, they're cool."
Sivoth Lancathuel |
”Ah, my apologies!” Sivoth replies to the alchemist’s prompting, still in island tulita. ”I have been remiss. I am Sivoth, of the Lancathuel line. We are renowned among my people for our mastery of spellweaving, though among your people my family’s reputation might be more nefarious. My forebears wronged your people greatly in long years past, and the mistress feels it both apropos and amusing to have me as a chosen champion.”
He breaks into Ronjoronjo for a moment. “She taught me your words.”
Noting the look at his weapon, he returns to island Tulita. ”The Mistress gave me knowledge of a completely new art of magecraft. This gun does not just shoot bullets, no. I can make this beast sing songs of fire and death with unrivaled eloquence.”
Oro-Tu |
"Sounds neat.." Oro-Tu replies as he moves a bit further ahead, trying to be quiet in case the shark men are ahead.
Oro-Tu |
Oro-Tu motions at the wereshark to the others, preparing to charge it as soon as his ranged companions act.
Silas Frey |
Silas nods to Sivoth and says in Tulita "A spellweaver eh? Well if we get into any trouble I might sing and borrow anything explosive you might cast to add to the mix. You'll get it straight back. Promise." He smiles and looks to see what else is awaiting them.
Sivoth Lancathuel |
"I damn well better," Sivoth replies in common. "It'd be mighty rude of me to have to plunk one of the folks what just got me out of this mess."
Sivoth moves up as quietly as he can in his circumstances, then stops cold as his visage turns to one of pure rage upon seeing the wereshark. "I know that scar..."
Raising his musket, he whispers into his rifle, causing it to glow once again, and fires. If he can, anyway... he uses a swift action to trigger his arcane ammo, using up his air bubble spell to grant his gun the vicious quality
Stargun, ranged touch, silver ammunition: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (15) + 10 = 252d6 + 5 + 2d6 ⇒ (5, 3) + 5 + (5, 3) = 21
Vicious feedback: 1d6 ⇒ 1
Presuming the attack is permitted:
Sivoth grimaces through his gun's feedback and uses it to enhance his snarl.
"YOU PUTRESCENT PILE OF PRIMEVAL PROTOPLASM! YOU'LL NOT LAY YOUR BEGRIMED PAWS UPON ME EVER AGAIN, YOU MALIGNANT MISBEGOTTEN DAGGER-TOOTHED FREAK!"
Oro-Tu |
Assuming that we get a surprise round and Oro-Tu readied a charge:
Oro-Tu runs toward the shark as the blast goes off, stabbing at it with his polearm.

In total defense, Ke' double moved forward cautiously.
Total defense is a standard action so you can single move with it or just double move.

Silas moves closer and casts Detect Magic to get the Wereshark in range. I want to know if that punching dagger is magical, because if so we'll be removing that.

Aurora Shadowbane |
I am Aurora Shadowbane, Undead/Demon Hunter and I hate evildoers too; I hail from the Northlands and serve my Master Falkenyager Messenger of Toth and Keeper of the Book of Fates. I am a Sheild Maiden and a Healer. In a dance with death, you bring meaning to life. In this way, life is served.
My prophecy was foretold in the ancient books at bards colleges around the world, I am called the Bringer of Death by Some, Deaths Mistress by others for I was born to be tied to the netherworld and am said to heal the wounds of the world by destroying that which keeps the wounds open.
All I know is I and those i care about have been hunted by those who would harm me. So I take my rage everyday out on them, don't get on my bad side. I make one promise, to be loyal to those who aide my cause and destruction to those standing in the way. my judgement is final and my wrath is swift.
retyped mission stmt:
Well here is Razors Coast, as for the island, we have a Island we were helping to clean out, but left and came back here, then as a side mission, we met up with Capt Bethany Razor and the Tulita to come out to the light house and check on its keeper because we had not heard from them in awhile and light house had not been working. We took the job, found more than we bargained for with Dragons, Undead and Were sharks. Then following the weresharks over the edge of the island, found the ghost of Jacob Razor who gave us his real story. then we found this cave and here we are. The lighthouse keeper is dead and dark forces are at work, we are here to hunt them down and seek sworn vengeance on behalf of Bethany, Jacob and the Lighthouse man. We will deliver on that promise, as i breath.
Oh, and when we get back to town, a certain commander Bonaduce in town will meet my blade, ever so slowly, 1000 cuts should be enough.
