Razor Coast Texas Style!

Game Master brvheart

Razor Coast, a devil’s paradise, where a man’s fortune can bleed out quicker than a spitted pig, and where the dawn sky blazes across endless oceans. Oceans that for centuries hid a lost people of whom legend whisper were born into these wild reaches as the sons of sharks. Here, within in the kraken’s clutches, law means little while gold breaks all boundaries and blood, pearls, and rum pay for all sin.

Hey I'm in!

Always interested brvheart, Are you wanting us to vote between 'Razor's Coast' one of your other campaigns or a campaign in the Dark Tower?

Yes, I play PF1E only, S&W only at NTRPGCon.
Yes Oceanshieldwolf, how could I ever forget Tiki! Hru Randall? He would need some updating as the party is now level 10.
Right now I am gaging interest, but would rather not run RA either at the moment.
I posted here because Razor Coast is my wife's first choice of campaigns. She was playing Aurora.
So if we can get Silas back we have enough to restart if people are interested.

Dark Tower

Long has it been since anyone has heard from the village of Mitra’s Fist. Hundreds of years ago the village fell into
shadow beneath the shifting sands as the mighty gods Mitra and Set and their minions fought to destroy each other
through the annihilation of their sacred temples and artifacts. In the nearest towns and villages, tales can still be heard of
the folks who went to Mitra’s Fist in search of fortune among the buried ruins.
Among those tales there are no happy endings: the fortune seekers never returned, and the village of Mitra’s Fist has
grown quiet...too quiet. Rumors persist of sightings of villagers in Mitra’s Fist who should long ago have perished among
the sand, and of the horrors that haunt the night in Redmoon Pass. Occasionally, through error or bravado, caravans of
pilgrims or traders are known to have ventured into Redmoon Pass, but they are rarely, if ever heard from again.
Folks from the nearby towns and villages would have it known what has happened to their loved ones who have vanished
within Redmoon Pass. The priests of Mitra would have their shrine rebuilt upon its original site. The leaders from the
surrounding area would have the pass cleansed of the evil which has left Mitra’s Fist silent for 300 years. And the mighty
lords of Viridistan and the City State would pay handsomely to have the most direct trading route to the Holy Cities restored.
Yet the rumors are clear: none who go there have return to tell of it. Something unspeakably wrong lurks beneath the sands
of Mitra’s Fist…waiting…

Any chance you're doing both?

Hey brvheart.. Been a long time since the RA days! Welcome back.

I'm not really interested in Razor. But the Dark Tower sounds great.
I'd never heard of it til now. But I only have one campaign going at the moment and would love to play in another campaign.

And as so many campaigns start at the early levels and fizzle out before reaching the more interesting middle or upper lvls I'd love to play in anything with a mid to upper lvl start like Tsar for example. Not sure what lvl Dark Tower calls for.

edit:sorry if you meant for this to be just for your players in Razor. But I saw your name, a blast from the past and had to chime in

I am thinking level 6 for Dark Tower. It is an old Judges Guild module by Jennel Jaquays from 1980 we updated tp 3.5. Not restricted to Razors players

Count me as interested in Dark Tower.

I’d be interested in dark tower too. And if can’t get the band back together for your Razor’s Coast game I could wip something up.

So for Razor's we have: Ke'ahilani, Aurora, Ivar, maybe Lanlass and Morgan "Hoeroa" Randall.
For Dark Tower we have Robert Henry, Kara,
Smiles-a-lot and Wabbithunter.
If I did both it would probably mean a slower pace especially until I can get something done on my vision issues. I am half blind here with double vision. Doc is ordering a MRI today.

Hey brv, for the "razor's Edge" game would you permit a Swashbuckler, specifically the Picaroon archetype. I know your old school, but it seems appropriate for the setting. If not, I'd probably use Ivar as a barbarian, but the swashbuckler seemed fitting.

If Lucretia doesn't come back as a
She is swashbucker

My advice is always play what the wife wants. ;)

My wife is playing Aurora, one of her favorite characters!

I don't know how you would finish Razor's Coast at this point w/o Silas. He is the only one left that has been here the entire campaign. And only he knows anything about what you have on your ship, the Thunderstrike. Although it was all posted at one time or another. I don't even have that information.

The best ship available is The Thunderstrike. She needs some work, mostly rigging but can be purchased from a man named Tomas Garell for $11,200 GP. She is a three masted warship outfitted with four sixers , two on each side, and a long nine at her prow.

@brvheart: I’m a little confused about what you are proposing. Are you wanting to restart Razor Coast AND start Dark Tower?

I don’t think I’m up for jumping back into Razor Coast after so long, and although I am interested in Dark Tower I’m not really wanting to start a game at 6th level. I guess I’m not the target market here, apologies.

For the record, I really enjoyed playing Morgan and Tiki Toharoa in your campaign.

Are you planning on running it with Swords & Wizardry brvheart? :D

Hey Brv, what would 'GYPSY ROSE' think about starting Razor's coast over, I know it would be a long hall, but might be worth doing.

Well... You never know... And you can't blame a guy for trying :D

Albion, I have run a few short modules in Swords & Wizardry back in the day, but while I could play it in a pinch I am not up to running it anymore. Besides, I don't have the S&W version of Razor Coast.

Fair enough ;)

Recruitment is up for Dark Tower. @Oceanshieldwolf I think you will kick yourself for missing this one. In 43 years, IMHO this is the best module I have ever seen! It is what Frog God wants their stuff to be!

I had not been checking back because this and then my next campaign collapsed. This is my first time back in weeks.

Good seeing you Silas. Most of the players moved over to my Dark Tower game but we can see if there is enough of them who want to get this going again. I put a post over there also.

I'm in for the Razor Coast!

Robert Henry will be over eventually. Still waiting to hear from the others.
