Silas Frey |
Silas heads towards the water and once in it casts Alter self, his form shifting into that of a merman with gills as he plunges into the water.

Ke'ahilani |
Ke' slurped down a Water Breathing extract concoction and dove in to swim clumsily along with the others.

Swim check: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (11) + 10 = 21

For you two new people. You are under Beacon Island and need to swim out and up to the surface to get to your ship which everyone should accomplish with these rolls. I presume you will head back to Port Shaw?
Aurora Shadowbane |
Gathering everyone around as we are casting spells, I cast water breathing and touch everyone who wants it excluding myself. For me, the minute I touch water, I become a Giant Manta Ray until I exit water
Water Breathing, 2 hours per level
Silas Frey |
Once on ship I'll brief our Captain and get us heading for Port Shaw as fast as we can.
Does anyone have any messenger type spell to get information back to Port Shaw ahead of us arriving?
Pulling himself up onto the deck of the Thunderstrike, Silas dusts himself down with Prestidigitation and heads to Captain Montgomery. "Captain, once all are on board we must make best speed back to Port Shaw. Beacon Island is a little safer, but its bite might still cause issues for Port Shaw with the moon coming to its fullest. We have new sailing partners, but our mission remains the same."
He says a prayer to Quell before they set off.
Sivoth Lancathuel |
Climbing on deck, Sivoth looks around for a moment and grins maliciously upon recognizing his location.
”It would appear those snaggletoothed mutants did me a favor. If only it didn’t cost me my ship in the process. I was just getting used to those guys.”
Sivoth Lancathuel |
Watching the city rise above the horizon, Sivoth makes a show of sniffing the air with a wide smile.
"Ahhhh, the smell of civilization!"
His smile vanishes.
"Smells like the place where hope goes to die. The shaman is not IN the city, is he?"
brvheart |
lol Sivoth, yes. You have a ship Lucretia and it is fully outfitted now. You will be going out soon enough:)
Silas Frey |
Silas looks over the city, trying to spy if anything has changed in the time he was away. He turns first to Sivoth, "Last I saw Milliauka he was a little way outside the city. Not far."
Looking at Lucretia, "Feel free to leave. As I said bad things are coming and you can fight or you can run. I'm fighting because others can't."
Sivoth Lancathuel |
When traveling through the town, Sivoth will make a point to give 3 gold to any Tulita that seems in dire straits and does not appear to be in the throes of any particular drug. He will do so with a whispered "Spend it poorly, and the Mistress of Fire will know." How much will Sivoth spend by the time he gets out of town?
If need be, I'll make sense motive checks or anything else deemed necessary.
brvheart |
Many of them are addicted to Dragonsmoke, but you will still spend at least 30 GP.
Oro-Tu |
Oro-Tu smiles appreciatively at the gesture, and greets Miliauka when they arrive in ronjoronjo and then let's Silas speak to him.
Aurora Shadowbane |
I want to go to Miliauka first and then head to the Broken Skull and if I happen to see that squirley commander along the way, I might just deck him for the fun of it. Then after a good fight I might pick up a guy and go to my room for some passion and lust. I am feeling quite frustrated tonight.
Ke'ahilani |
About to head to the Outskirts, Ke' paused and nodded at the others plan to visit Miliauka.
He will stump along casually, lighting his pipe and puffing away like a smokestack as he observed the changes in the town.
Sivoth Lancathuel |
Stepping up from having handed a few more coins out, Sivoth catches up with the group and turns a glance at the priestess.
”By the fires, if it weren’t for the stench of wacky tabacky hanging over this town like a miasma of murdered dreams, I’d seriously wonder how anybody could get themselves worked up enough to shack up with some rando.”
He gestures about himself. “My gun’s gonna be my best friend tonight, and you’d best be keeping an eye on folk lest they spit sharkteeth in your face.”
Silas Frey |
Silas smiles at Lanlass. "It's smelt better." He keeps his eyes open, glancing around for obvious signs of trouble or friends. Patting the dagger in his belt he thinks of the promise made to Jacob.

On the way out of the city you spot an abandoned fishing trawler – the Good Day’s Catch – flying a distress flag. Adrift and listing slightly, the trawler appears badly savaged, perhaps by pirates.
Sivoth Lancathuel |
”H-uhhhhhh.” Sivoth produces his musket and peers at the boat through his scope. ”Mayhap somebody has caught more than they can reel.”
Perception through a sniper scope if that matters: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (11) + 11 = 22
Ke'ahilani |
Smoking his pipe and idly looking about, Ke' spotted the boat flying the distress flag.
"What do you suppose is that all about?" He asked the others, pointing with his pipestem.
Is it beached, or how far out in the harbor/sea?
Oro-Tu |
Oro-Tu hefts a spear and watches to see what Aurora finds, ready to toss his spear at anything untoward.
Sivoth Lancathuel |
"While I've little quarrel with our homicidal healer getting herself up and killed in boat-depths unknown if such is her wont, I'd like to avoid having that happen before she's rectified my current predicament. I can shoot mighty fine from all the way over here, but maybe she'd need a bit more support close-in?"
Sivoth keeps an eye on the cleric's progress through his sniper scope.
"Ish ha'kesh." His musket thrums as it magically reloads.
Silas Frey |
Silas gets into the rowboat and from nowhere his fiddle appears in his hands. He slowly starts to play an ominous sound ready for anyone looking to ambush.
Sivoth Lancathuel |
Sivoth also trundles into the rowboat, keeping his musket trained on the boat and the crazy priestess romping about upon it.
brvheart |
Calling out to the ship garners no response. Once aboard, the party finds deep red stains painting the deck, while disheveled ropes and broken woodwork provide evidence of struggle; however, the adventurers find no bodies.
Sivoth Lancathuel |
"On soviet fishing trawler, fish catch YOU!"
Sivoth checks the damaged areas to see if they were produced by shark teeth or wereshark-related peraphernalia.

Aurora Shadowbane |
Gosh, I didnt know i made such a impression, btw, I will try to play with some more dignity and just be impulsive toward monsters, I have to be very controlled at my work, so having somewhere to vent and let go helps.
I get there and there is blood everywhere, search to find the bodies and do a heal check to see if anyone is still alive, somehow we have to stabilize the boat so it doesn't sink
