Desmond goes back to tracing the groove he found in the ground, limping a bit.

The groove reveals repetitive weight grinding on it. It's pretty obvious that the source is the grinding is the bookcase.

Grimm was growing tired of the Sorcerer's comments.

Ye obviously ain't been paying attention, Witchblood. I'm a Gorumite, listenin ta Karnog is cause'a good sense and respect fer ya elders, but the All Father doesn't call ta me like it does him. Be glad he has more patience than me for yer wagging tongue. Yer whole 'fear my magic' bit doesn't work on someone who shrugs off spells like a duck sheds water.

The dwarf happily shows his back to the Sorcerer confident there was no attack coming save maybe a snide remark.

Depends on yer ability ta duck or take a hit. After seeing ye flip around, pretty sure takes a REAL fast brute ta land a shot on you at least. Ha!

Grimm moves up, but waits for the invitation to touch the shelf, letting the rogue do his work.

2 spellcraft checks

You see rich carpets cover the floor and precious tapestries hang on the walls. To the south, by the sole window, is a small reading stand. A brazier filled with hot coals stands by the north wall, next to two bookshelves full of folios, codices and scroll cases. A lantern with colorful glass panes sheds a soft light on the scene in the evening. The bookshelves hold an assortment of books. A small ornately carved redwood chest within the room tucked in the far corner.

If everyone wants to give me 2 appraise checks for valuation of the rugs, books, glass panes, chest and whatnot.

3 cure critical wounds

1 Bestow Curse
1 inflict light wounds

There were 2 cure serious wounds potions but...

Unless told otherwise I will assume you will be heading back to Fentonville. There is some information in the campaign tab about this settlement that I created. Malcolm, Desmond, and Grimm joined the game after the town but for game purposes they have been there. Look at the value items you can procure there, it's much higher than the norm for the size of the settlement. Let me know what you are interested in obtaining, I like to roll play some of the items.

I'm going to hand wave "most" of the trip back to town, if that's ok with you.
