Aurora the Fairydragon |
Grungsdi |
Grung stops and slowly looks around the room. He crouches down right to eye level with Aurora and squints. Then he whispers, If that be so...then how many drops o' honey did I just drip next to your head? he says as he lets 4 drops splat onto the floor next to her.
Someone must be messing with me...
Malcolm Cavendish |
Ah, Kalim, I did not see you there. So, how was your little jaunt to avoid killing evil, lawless orcs? It does not appear to have worked out for you so well. At least you came back with a dwarf that proved handy in a fix. Glad to have you back! And, welcome to you, Grungi...where are you off to?
Aurora the Fairydragon |
Kalim Gudlavaletti |
"To kill a humanoid, I prefer more reason than their race. Karnog and the orcs proved they are not simply evil. You and your money-grubbing false god may delight in slaughter, but I do not."
Grungsdi |
Bahhahahahahaha Grung roars with laughter and scoops up Aurora, or at least attempts to.
COME A TANKARD OF HONEY MEAD FOR ME NEW FRIEND! ANOTHER HELMET OF MEAD FOR ME!
Karnog Kegmeister |
"Well, Kalim, what do you think of our actions now? We offered quarter, those who would accept did. And now we work to bring them to the path of righteousness, with hammers, anvils, and community-building. They may be orcs, yes, but they have proved capable of Good. And now we strive to bring them along that road."
Karnog Kegmeister |
"Bloodthirst, huh? Well, I guess you and I are just going to have to agree to disagree. Bringing that tribe onto the path of righteousness will prove to be a turning point for them, this area, and I believe all of us. But enough morose talking. Let us celebrate!"
Karnog hoists his tankard high, arm still around "Friendly" Tracy's waist.
"To Good. And to Redemption!"
Felicitas Sweetfingers |
"To good and redemption. You too must be very good friends, you bicker like an old couple. But tell me what are your plans for the future. Do you really want to explore that... hellhole. A well, it might be a hellofastory."
Karnog Kegmeister |
"And I, you, Kalim. I know you're heart is in the right place, and I've seen your courage too often to doubt it. Felicitas, you have come at a momentous time, we are soon to set off on an amazing adventure, filled with peril, more peril, and probably certain death. It is by the strength of our arms, and our will to overcome that we will persevere. What say you, oh Bard? Would you and your colorful dragon care to join us?"
Grungsdi |
With this Grizzly Dragon at my back we shall lay waste to the tunnels! Grung says, slightly slurred as he stands on top of the stool.
Malcolm Cavendish |
We will all bring justice and light to the darkness and lawlessness that dwells below! Join us, my lady, and you will not want for stories so grand that you will be able to bathe in the gold that shall flow from your songs of our deeds.
Desmond Aeros |
Desmond laughs and stomps his foot with the song, scaling the walls to add a visual effect about a thief running on rooftops. At the end he comes down laughing. "Oh that was marvelous milady, truly a masterpiece!" He nudges Malcolm. "You're in for a fight than, and I have a head starts since I'm not wearing all that armor."
"Indeed we are going down into that hellhole, for their are riches and glory to be found! Or at the least riches and a quick trip out." He laughs, then looks at the little dragon. "Well aren't you a marvelous creature? Sheyan could probably tell me more about you. Certainly not a lizard, but not a full-blown dragon either." He folds his legs, sitting down next to the creature on the floor. "I'm curious, do tell me of yourself."
Grungsdi |
This is my new comrade in arms! Grung says to Desmond
"Friendly" Tracy |
Karnog wraps his arms around "Friendly" Tracy's waist and whirls her along with him in a stomping, clapping, raucous dwarven dance. He smiles the whole time, thoroughly enjoying the evening, especially the music provided by Felicitas.
After the song, he takes her by the hand to a more quiet spot, "Lass, I believe you seek to engage in a bit of rompin' with me? I will confess, I cannot promise you a life-long commitment, but an evening of fun and happiness is something I can surely help with!"
Karnog waits a moment for his phylactery of faithfulness to let him know he's on shaky moral grounds before going any further.
Her fingers scrunch up your hair in a playful manner. "Ain't lookin' f'more than a few hours of y'time and few sparkling coins." She teases. "We can test yer heartiness." She peeks your cheek.
Karnog Kegmeister |
"Time, coin, and heartiness. These things I have!"
Karnog Kegmeister |
"My thanks, good bartender. This shoukd cover my drinks, and those of good Tiny over here."
Karnog slips 5gp across the bar to Jenar.
To the party: "If you'll excuse me, I am heading off to a well deserved rest. Good night and I will see you in the morning. "
Karnog takes his leave with Tracy, heading for his room.
Felicitas Sweetfingers |
Aurora lands on Felicitas shoulder, quite wobbly. She bows gracefully and smiles at all the gents."Aurora has had her fill, and I shall retreat for the night. I hope... to meet you on the morrow. Maybe you have an offer... we simple can´t refuse." With a wink she walks up to her room.
Grungsdi |
Grung stops Felicitas
You tell a good story...and me thinks your friend is destined for glory with me. What skills do you have in battle? Me thinks you should come with us if you are one to slay evil.
Felicitas Sweetfingers |
With a wave of her hand Felicitas asks Jenar to give her but one more minute."What skills in battle? I am no strong knight, no mighty sorcerer, no pious man of the faith. But I can inspire you to fight as if your ancestors watch over you. I am very well trained to know about many things and as many of my guild can tell you some weakness of your enemy. But most important of all. With aurora and me you never have to fear that your deeds will be forgotten, for good or bad."
Grungsdi |
Had you been with me I might know who I am...I have little say in who gets to come...but join us come record my new life! Let us drink to our future. Come mighty dragon! Let us finish the keg of honey mead!
There is some serious slurring going on
Grungsdi |
Then at least order what you wish to drink and let me drink it for you!
Malcolm Cavendish |
Good night, fair lady. I will see you again tomorrow, when you may have a decision for us all.
Malcolm turns back to Des.
Well, shall we see if the new dwarf is up to the drinking standards of our past companions? Grungsdi, Kalim, join us!
Aurora the Fairydragon |
Grungsdi |
Grung wakes up still in the bar and drags himself up and orders a dozen eggs and a side if bacon as well as a helmet of mead
Jenar Hickory |
"A helm of mead to take the edge off." She smiles. "Dwarves are great for business the spike in beer sales skyrockets." She hands you your helm back. A few minutes later several loaves of fresh crusty bread and honey butter are placed in front of dwarf, then his eggs bacon, and several large slices of sweet ham.
Walter Featherton, NPC, gnome |
The next morning a gnome walks into the bar and smiles, "Jenar, if you would be so kind as to bring me three scrambled, with side of honey grits, and ham." He looks around and sees the pretty human and her dragon chatting with a dwarf..."Barellton?" he calls out.
Felicitas Sweetfingers |
"Good Morning, Grungsdi, you see I hold my promises. Now while we wait and break our morning fast, tell me about your adventure company. Do you have a crest, a motto? How do you share treasure? Who is the leader? Anything else we should know?"Eating with gusto, the two listen intently to the dwarf words.
Malcolm Cavendish |
Malcolm wakes early, and he spends several moments in silent meditation of Abadar. he works his way down to the bar, and he spots Grungsdi and Felicitas chatting.
Good morning, Grungsdi. Good morning, my lady. Some breakfast please, Jenar. Eggs, bacon and coffee, if you have it.
He sits himself comfortably.
So, Felicitas, any decision on accompanying our moteley crew?
Jenar Hickory |
"She's known as Felicitas Sweetfingers and her voice is pillow soft; she and her little dragon were fantastic for business yesterday. Quite a bit of merriment and well,...the men seem to enjoy the view." She refills his coffee and pours a cup of her own, the chicory aroma wafting through the air, "The dwarf is an odd duck. He came in with the Short Swrods, but claims he has no memory." She glances over at him, "He's a drinker, but aren't all dwarves, a boisterous talker, and probably hiding something: hence no memory."
