I'm going to likely set up maps on both Roll20 and here, under the Campaign Info, so we can pull it up as needed, instead of me lugging around the giant map.

Alright! The Roll20 map is updated. From our starting position, gameplay is ready to begin. Everyone needs to access Roll20 to make sure we can set your actions on your avatars. If you'll be patient, I'd also love to have everyone's characters loaded into your profiles, for easier access to stats.
I'll be rolling initiatives for everyone, then posting actions for the 'good guys' as you guys update your actions.
Here are a couple of codings for your posts:
[ ooc ] Out of character chit-chat/questions/observations... [ /ooc ]
[ dice=Your Action Roll ] 1d20 + modifiers [ /dice ] for dice rolling
[ i ] Character thoughts [ /i ]
[ b ] Character speech [ /b ]
We'll learn you as we go :)
Map looks awesome. Quick breakdown on nameplates in Roll20.
- Click 'Edit' or the gear icon on a token.
- In 'Basic' tab give the token a 'Name'.
- Check the 'Show nameplate?'
- In 'Advanced' tab check the 'See' option for 'Player permissions.'
That will make name visible to all.
Alright, nameplates should be visible to all now :)
For now, can everyone shoot me their Initiative modifiers? If I have them all, I can at least begin the next round scene.

Oh, and creating an alias worked fine, once I realized that clicking on the alias name would let me create a profile. :)

Now imagine having to position your character in front of said character so that he can poke at the baddies in front of your character with his lance. Ok, maybe you shouldn't imagine that.
