Alright 2547 miles later, I'm ready to get back to regular posting. sorry about the delay, meant to do it in 4 days, ended up blowing a tire out in a mountain pass, limped to town on a donut but it cost me a day of travel!

Yeah not ideal, that last day was really trying to stop us from progressing.
We were pushing through a pretty big storm, was driving through one mountain pass, a tree fell down and took down a power line blocking the road right in front of us. We decided to back track an hour and a half to go an alternate route rather than wait, as soon as we got onto that alternate route bam blew the tire.
Brand new tires too! Like 9 months old, maybe 3-4000 miles on them.

So, Baba Yaga patron got a remaster here in divine mysteries.
Would it be okay to switch to the remastered version, at least for the mechanical effect? I do plan to keep the "cold to the touch" of old remaster version as its main fluff because... snow is a bit more obvious than a cold lute. I'm unsure if difficult terrain or dazzled is better mechanically, though. Everything else about Karina's build would be the same.
Edit: Oof. Apparently 1st level damage is reduced by a d4, but the damage increases by 2d4 every spell level, making it more spammable at higher levels. So, if I'm allowed to, I'd like to trade out protect companion for needle darts to keep that 3d4.
Edit 2: Okay, I read further in, and it's now a spell you have to sustain,]/i] but it's been changed to a single-action spell. So the attack routine for Karina will actually change [i]massively if I'm allowed to use the updated version.
It's not on AoN yet, but here is the updated version. It changes how the spell works, requiring essentially two turns to set up now, so I'd also like to switch a single spell if I'm allowed to use the updated version.
I would prefer to not change it mid-exploration. The next time you have downtime, you can choose to make these changes, or just leave as is.

And yeah Karina will eventually do more than just "smacks you with an animate viol over and over", but with so few spells this is the thing to do until she gets rebuilt.
I was planning on Inventor Archetype for second level, but the way the action economy of the new Spirit Object plays out... no to that.

Hence prioritising her for healing was best in his eyes
Just remember, I can always treat wounds outside of combat, takes 10 minutes but is free nearly resourceless healing, as long as she survives to the end of the combat lol
Sadly occult casters don't get heal. I do plan on eventually getting Soothe but... it isn't healing. It's temp HP.

Soothe is not temp HP, it's real ones. It's not as good as Heal, but it's still pretty solid, and with the buff to saves, it can be better in certain situations.

Rousing splash is a cantrip that grants temp hitpoints
How many did you start with? Your profiles says 2,and that's what I have also. You used one after the fire beetle fight, also to heal Zaria who was at 4hp then. And then you used one now. I think you may be out of them...I have 1 more heal spell.
I could heal myself but then there won't be any more if we get into combat
Just FYI, Ba'hahk does not have any Heal spells left, so he will have to do his round over again. He used them both already, the last one after the fight with the blindheim.
If you want to find a way to rest in the caverns or return to Torch to recuperate and sleep, you always can.

Doing PbP for the first time in quite a few years I have grown rusted in keeping these things in check
Learned long ago that record-keeping is really important in PBP because of the long RL times between combats or days rests etc. I try to keep us all on the same page.

Sorry to miss posting last night. I was at a work meeting until late, and then didn't stay awake long enough to get all the games updated.
I have been messaging with another new player to perhaps join the game, if you are up for it. It'd be his first foray into PBP. He's got a front line fighter type to replace the one we lost early on.

o/ Hello everyone! Name's Gozu, he/him, I'm in gmt+2 timezone wise, I'm new to Pathfinder 2e and PBP but I've read the rules pretty thoroughly and (hopefully, usually) learn very quick. I've got a IRL game coming up so I'm double dipping like this out of both excitement and to learn a little by observing and playing here.
My character will be Aglippa Strikeiron, a dwarf champion (unaligned) of Gorum. While she still follows his dogma, thinking highly of fair combat and generally being a bruise first talk never type, although not to a zealous degree- if there's a diplomatic solution to be had, she will likely let the others handle it while just sitting back and sharpening her sword in preparation for when negotiations fall through... She actually worships Gorum more through his weapons and armor aspect.
She's a blacksmith whose main goal is to either forge or find a 'Godblade', a greatsword truly worthy of Gorum. And where best to search for materials to forge it (or to just find it laying around somewhere) but Numeria, land of strange technology. She's arrived in Torch to start her search, making for a natural spot to bump into the party and join up with them for her agenda.
She's curt and short-spoken, more out of awkwardness (and acknowledging it) instead of rudeness. I'd classify her as a lawful neutral type who doesn't much like rocking the boat- she just wants to get her duty done and move onto the next.
