A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for Levels 1–5.

In the distant land of Tian Xia, the Pathfinder Society's Lantern Lodge sends a team of agents high into the mountains of the Wall of Heaven to an abandoned Iroran monastery in search of a powerful relic to assist them in ensure victory in the upcoming Ruby Phoenix Tournament. Though the monastery has long laid unused by the faithful of the Master of Masters, it is not completely devoid of danger, and the PCs soon discover that merely retrieving the ancient artifact is but the beginning of a much larger quest.

The Edge of Heaven is the first scenario in the three-part The Quest for Perfection campaign arc. It is followed by Pathfinder Society Scenario #3-11: The Quest for Perfection—Part II: On Hostile Waters and Pathfinder Society Scenario #3-13: The Quest for Perfection—Part III: Defenders of Nesting Swallow. All three chapters are intended to be played in order.

Dotting for interest.

Working on a fresh Samurai 1 at the moment. Thinking of focusing on mounted archery at this stage, but still deciding on the details...

I'm interested. I'm a level 1 Dwarf Flowing Monk archetype PFS legal character. Been wanting to play a melee-focused monk for some time, this is a great chance to do it. While all the stats and stuff are in the profile, the more polished character sheet is listed in the character's homepage url.

I'll work up a backstory in a bit. I'm retired so posting frequently isn't a problem except for short break 2 day break in mid-April.

Interested with this Gunslinger, who will be finished with his current adventure well before time.

Sorry, my GM wants me to bring this PFS character to his game. I'll bow out.

I've not been active in PFS on the real-world side, I'd like to humbly submit my Dwarf Fighter 1.

He needs one more scenario to become level 2, so if that is problematic, I can bow out.

That won't be problematic at all. As long as he won't level past 5 during the arc. I'd like to keep the same group through the whole trilogy.

It's definitely looking like it'll shape up to be the lower sub-tier, too, for those interested.

I'd like to apply with this character! Ranger level 1. I have yet to flesh out her stats, but it should be done soon-ish.

Human bard, level 2 as of the end of the con this afternoon, so I'll need to do some updates to the online profile.

This is Alice's samurai. I'm still working on the details, and am currently away from my books, but just wanted to reiterate that I'm still interested.

edit: I'm also currently not 100% set on samurai, although the general character concept/build will be more or less identical (mounted archery). Monk, cavalier, inquisitor and fighter are on the short list of possibilities. :P

I'll toss my hat in the ring as a level 2 Bard with the Street Performer archetype, possibly as an alternate with how it looks with this scenario.

Would you allow a Ninja? I read the guide and it didn't list ninja as a character you could take unless it fit the scenario, but this one seems to be perfect for it!

I also have a human ranger who is second level. I made him for a Kingmaker game that fizzled when people moved away. He is a Strider type.

I'd run a second table, but I already have another one running. If there's any other gm's that would like to step up and run a second table of the QfP series, we could certainly split everyone up into two groups, but for now, we have three alternates. If anyone in the verified group cannot play, or changed their mind, let me know so I can get alternates into play. Thanks!

FYI GM Kim, my character is about to take part in a mod, so he will be lvl 3 by April 5th. Is this a problem?

@Hyrgan - Nope, that won't be a problem at all, and even less so if you're mostly a support caster type bard (which it looks like you are). It won't budge the APL out of low-tier, and I don't see Hyrgan as tier-breaking.

You're my first alternate, so if Zephri, Dagat, and/or Noorzad don't dot or post introductions in the gameplay thread (showing their intent to play) by 5 Apr, you're in!

Waiting on finishing my current PBP - last encounter - before posting IC, hope that's okay, still keen :)
