Fellow adventurers: Please know that my character is, essentially, a non-combatant. However, I have the Misfortune revelation. So, anytime an enemy within 30' strikes an ally, I intend to force that enemy to make a re-roll. I can only do this once per day per enemy. I'll try to stay near combat, but my character will not hit anything.
Also, I bear a flag with the Glyph of the Open Road. Whenever you're within 30' of me, and you can see this flag, you get a +1 bonus to attack rolls, damage rolls, saving throws against fear, and saving throws against charm effects.
GM: I have the legalistic curse. My character's vow to himself for the day is to protect his allies from lasting harm.
Stonetree: Since you're a brawler (and probably our front-liner), when we meet in character, Flower will make a promise to you that he will either (1) prevent your death or (2) in the case of your demise, ensure a proper burial for your remains. The benefit of this is that I get a +4 bonus on one roll (my choice) I make while trying to fulfill my promise to you. So I could add 4 to a heal check, aid another, diplomacy, etc.
If the adventure takes more than one day, in game, I'll make the same vow to another character.
GM: Irony of ironies! Flower is the character to which I applied GM credit for Crypt of the Everflame--Harrow's first adventure! (I'm still level 1 because I decided to go slow-track.)

@Flower: The yellow submarine whereon Flower arrived descends into the ground, and the magical mystery tour is underway!
Sergeant Pepper salutes the group as they prepare to depart.
I can't believe the Harrow GM baby is ready for action! That is hilarious!!!
@All: I've got the first map up. Please do me a favor and place your icons. I am having a strange copy/paste problem where it continuously copies the same icon over and over.

OK, right! The flagbearer bonus is a morale bonus. Inspire courage is a morale bonus but only on the save; attack and damage are a competence bonus. Morale bonuses don't stack. But competence and morale do.
Thanks for the reminder! :-)

Heyy guys, I am larping this weekend so I won't be able to post from tomorrow. I should be back Sunday evening to post, if not Monday morning. (UK time)

I know modules are long... Will we be going for a while? Evariel is a brand new character, and I have to admit this build isn't nearly as fun as I thought it'd be.

Oh I love casters, that's not the problem. What I was trying to do with Evariel was make an enchanter mage who never once uses a weapon-- problem is, in addition to the "so few options" problem low level casters always have, there's also the self-imposed problem of being ineffective against anything mindless.
And isn't there another level to explore?

What I'm getting at is, if we don't have much farther to go then that's fine, but if we've got a long way to go still I may just drop out. Nothing against you as GM or anyone here-- I like the group and the game. It's just that playing a character you don't like really takes away from it, you know?

I did slow track on your chronicle, didn't I?
You gave me the correct XP, but you gave me normal prestige (4) instead of half (2). I could just cross out the 4 and write in 2 myself. But I thought I'd ask. :)
