Bruce hacks and slashes as a snowball of Asuna's comes flying in. Neither of the two have any success in hitting the devil, though.

The nephilim comes squeezing through, moving its way past the adventurers to get to the other side of the pillar, ever so slowly.

The devil lashes out with its sharp claws, a set of razor-sharp fingernails racing toward Bruce, which misses sorely, and another flies at Jelani, who seems to be at the brink of losing his composure as the devil grabs a hold of him.

If this shouldn't/can't be possible due to action order, then just tell me I have to wait until next turn...

Ready for anything, Thistle sees the barbarian's eyes go wide. The gods have seen fit to prepare him for just such an occurance.

Readied Action, if Jelani becomes frightened:
Thistle calls down divine courage, and instills it in the Mighty Mwangi warrior. Cast remove fear Normally gives a +4 to the save, but also all in process fear effects are suppressed for the duration of the spell, which is why I would want to wait until after he fails the save.

Ok, then

Fort: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (16) + 14 = 30

Asuna's snowball hits, but has little effect on the devil. As the devil fails to get a hold of Jelani, Caranthir lets fly a volley of arrows, which all miss. Bruce, from close range, slashes twice at the air in front of the devil, only to see an opening to drive his blade through.

The process is painful: as Bruce hits the devil, he feel the barbs on the creature rip through his flesh

Damagel, Bruce: 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7

Jelani smashes the devil twice, but hits only barbed armour. Fellgrim's bomb then explodes in the middle, and though Bruce and Jelani are shielded from the blast, the devil takes the explosion full force. It doesn't seem to care at all, as it relishes in the fire as it washes over it.

Bruce does indeed have FoM - I knew those two would be getting into melee...

The life link having drained him so many times before, Thistle stifles a grimace as his life energy flows out to Bruce and a single drop of blood runs out of his left ear.

The radiance of his elemental form brightens the walls and mixes eerily with the green light of the shard as he moves closer to the melee. The flash of light as he releases a wave of healing energy would be blinding, if not for its restoring properties.

free - heal 5 to Bruce through life link, and Jelani if he still has damage. Move to get closer, standard to channel, heal, excluding the devil.

If the creature has SR then am I missing this part some where?

Spell resistance:
To affect a creature that has spell resistance, a spellcaster must make a caster level check (1d20 + caster level) at least equal to the creature's spell resistance. The defender's spell resistance is like an Armor Class against magical attacks. If the caster fails the check, the spell doesn't affect the creature. The possessor does not have to do anything special to use spell resistance. The creature need not even be aware of the threat for its spell resistance to operate.

Will save: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9

Documents we recovered from our Thassilonian excavations describe an elven fortress on the border between the Mierani Forest and the former Thassilonian province of Cyrusian. Because the borders of the forest have receded in the years since, any remaining ruins must be well outside of the forest as it now stands. As I’m sure you’re aware, the elves of Kyonin typically guard elven historical sites closely, but in this case it seems the elves have lost all record of the site; they don’t even know it exists. Needless to say, this discovery represents an invaluable opportunity for the society to explore without supervision. Take this map and make your preparations. I want you to reach the tower before news of its discovery reaches any of our rivals.

The squat dwarven female stands, immoving while she asks her questions. The complicated garb and headdress of the shaman add an imposing air to the figure as she speaks. While she listens, a small creature that reminds most of a pet lizard in shape, but looks to be made entirely of stone, curls up on the floor at her feet.

Sorry again for the delay! Hopefully I don't mess anything up trying to figure out a new class at level 7... should be interesting!

The adventurers know little in terms of background rumours, but Heidmarch has the following to offer:

“Similar locations have been warded by magic and guarded by outsiders. I doubt that the elves would design anything that would harm their own kind, but we have not explored enough elven sites to offer more than speculation. I am confident in your skills and training

A lump of weathered stone, all that is visible of the Tower of the Ironwood Watch, stands alone on a lonely plain in the Velashu Uplands where it protrudes from a low hill.

What at first looked like a cave reveals itself as the foundation of an ancient building. Crumbling stone walls, their blocks blanketed in moisture trails and weeds, slowly give way to the soil of the surrounding plains. The ceiling is partially open to the sky, beneath which shards of fallen stone litter compete for space with small mushrooms and other fungi that grow out of the spiderweb pattern of cracks in the floor. Against the chamber’s western wall, the remains of a door made from petrified wood lies open, barely clinging to the door frame with nearly disintegrated hinges.

Garox moves forward stealthily, peering past the unhinged door.

Stone walls stretch between three rounded turrets to form a vaguely triangular central room. Long forgotten elven heroes bearing swords and hunting hawks stand proudly immortalized as marble statues, silently guarding the shadowed alcoves between the towers. A damp, earthy smell rises from the carpet of moss and small fungi that covers the floor.
