As Skaarr rises to superhuman size, Thistle takes a lone stand against the goblins, swinging in an attack, but missing.

The dinosaur moves up next to Thistle, and tries to bite the frontmost gobbo:

Skaarr steps back into the corner of the room, gaining some more space for his huge frame. He crooks one finger at the goblin in the doorway and concentrates on it. Sleepy time little guy, he thinks inflicting an ancient curse on it. "If the goblin falls asleep, slit its throat properly. If you just injure it, it will wake back up!" he instructs the deaf oracle and unintelligent animal. Hope they are smarter than they look.

Assuming the goblin falls asleep, Thistles action is as follows. If it makes the will save, see the spoiler below.

Seeing the goblin's eyes roll back in his head and fall limply to the ground, Thistle doesn't question his good luck. With practiced movement, he lines up the goblin's forehead and delivers a Coup de Grace

Coup de Grace, Auto Crit: 2d8 + 6 ⇒ (7, 2) + 6 = 15

With the goblin's brains spattered on the door frame, he takes a step back to allow his comrades in on the fray.

If Goblin doesn't fall asleep:
Thistle watches the Goblin blink his eyes once or twice, and thinks he sees an opening. He swings his morningstar quickly in underneath his shield in an attempt to crush the beast in front of him. Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15 for Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8 Thistle then steps baack to allow his comrades to get in on the fray.

Could Asuna using cues from combat or her empathic link help aim a sleep spell inside hitting most of the goblins dc 18? If so she does and her companion will nibble a goblin. Otherwise she would stumble about and her companion steps in and full attacks goblins with power attack. Sorry she can't tell where they are cause she is effectively blinded and thus direct her dino

Sleep is just a 10ft radius burst, so you can just lob it inside and see what happens. These particular goblins aren't exactly quiet...

Thistle takes a deep breath to keep his focus in the wild melee crammed into the tiny entrance. Unable to hear the suggestion of the barbarian behind him, he repeats the command as he steps back in the hopes that the little critters will move forward into the pinch point created by the oddly shaped room.

In his odd sounding voice he so rarely uses, Thistle says, They are outmatched, when they realize it they will run. We must chase them and cut them down. He hears nothing as the words come awkwardly out of his mouth, and simply hopes his companions heard.

Hefting his morningstar, he waits for something to come close enough to hit.

Readied action, attack if a goblin gets within melee reach before my next turn. Rolls below in case that happens in order to keep things moving. If it doesn't happen, just ignore the rolls.

The sight of the enormous Skaarr has an obvious demoralising effect on the goblins, though they start to cheer again as both Bruce and Amir miss their attack.

The little fiends start hacking at Bruce, trying to get out, and their panic only causes their attacks to be rather off.

Thistle moves quickly around his now oversized companion and quickly slides in front of the door to cut off any possible escape by the wormy little beasts. He brandishes his shield and morningstar with a hiss and a guttural growl at the remaining goblins.

Double move around the threatened area, through allies to get in front of the door.

Skaarr swings at one of the goblins between him and his allies, but he bumps his head on the ceiling as he's winding up. When he swings he comes closer to hitting his own leg than the goblin. Nethys's nads! Sometimes these "enhancements" are more trouble than they're worth.

The two remaining goblins seem to be in no mood to surrender, nor in any mood to get hit, for that matter. Jalik, Amir and Bruce all fail to hit the small creatures, and huge Skaarr doesn't fare any better.

The wild melee unfolds in front of the serpent oracle like a not-so-graceful dance. The reverberations of the floor as weapons connect with walls instead of targets punctuate the otherwise silent display.

Knowing they have the viscous little brutes surrounded, Thistle moves up to help clear out the now well overmatched remaining goblins of the group.

Jalik swiftly stab one of the remaining goblins, and a double deuce by Thistle and Skaarr ends the life of the other.

With the enemy defeated, it is possible to have a look around in the room. The room is full to bursting with a motley collection of cots and other furniture cobbled from scraps of wood and cloth. The stench of rotting food is overpowering. Doors lead to the west and the north (the direction the party came from).

A riot of broken bits of metal, glass, stone, and other things scavenged by the goblins from the ruins of the keep and the surrounding woods clutter the room. It seems goblins find value in almost anything, and this place looks as much like a trash heap as a it does like a living area.

Bits and pieces of food are scattered around the room as well, though carefully hidden. In one of the beds, beneath a blanket, is a particularly stinky piece of cheese.

Under one of the beds is a kind of metal arm, as if severed from a larger-than-life metal puppet. It has emerald-green plating, and all kinds of wired inside.

Thistle grabs his conversation board and quickly scribbles, Anything else in here?

If it appears the room is clear, he will move to the west end of the room and wait for a signal from his comrades before opening the door. His torch is held in the same hand as his weapon, ready to drop in case another threat appears.

I am assuming the strange, magical darkness is still in effect? Just curious if we should be doing more to look into that...

He moves back into the chamber they entered in, and tries to open the set of double doors on the west wall. Wonder what else is infesting this ruin? Probably not anything too dangerous if there are goblins living here.

Bruce examines the arm, but remembers very little, as what he sees in the poor lighting does not trigger an memories.

Yes, the darkness is omnipresent throughout this level. Great way to start off a deaf oracle, huh?

Skaar moves back to the first room, and open the door on the west. Behind it, he finds a spiral staircase. Stairs wind upward to the right, circling around a glowing wall of semi-translucent green stone. It seems the Azlanti tower was built around a core of some other material—a spire within a spire. The steps spiral around the core several times, past destroyed, impassable levels, until they reach the top, ending in a sturdy wooden door with a shuttered arrow slit in the middle.

Skaarr opens the door, and with his dark vision, he can a good-sized kitchen inside a curving room, complete with decaying tables, cupboards, and bins. One newer table has what seems like a child’s laboratory set up, with broken cups standing in for beakers.

Inside the room is a metal man, build up out of plating that looks... oddly familiar. One of the arms of the construct is replaced with a bony human arms. At the back, a goblins screams as it sees the huge Half-Orc peek through the door, and screams

Ha! I was just thinking that actually... No worries, it just makes it more fun :)

would have liked to charm the goblin, but alas I cant see him right? In Goblin Asuna calls out "Wait friend. We also follow the will of the great mother Lamashtu. She sent us here to aid you! Why else would a fierce monster like my dinosaur, the snake and that ugly orc work together with Longshanks. Why I myself am one changed by her powers, observe."
