Question for Seliina/GM, because I can't find an answer myself. Does the Lashunta's telepathy ability enable the recipient to respond? Is it a two-way connection, and would Henric be able to transmit a message back as long as Seliina keeps the connection open? Or is it only one-way, since he doesn't have the telepathy ability? The answer will affect my next post.

I meant to get that done last night, but I got home with a splitting headache that refused to let me do anything.

It allows telepathic communication ao long as we're close enough and share a common language. As far as I know it's two way communication though the bestiary entry doesn't specify for sure it mentions carrying on telepathic conversations. My personal thought is that it requires the telepath to "listen" to the other's thoughts.

Ioann, Ravel's player is without internet and even though I talk to him daily via text it is exceptionally difficult for him to get online, catch up on reading what's been posted, and post himself. For now, unless he is needed specifically for a task we'll have to move on without him and I will bot him in combat (in all games) until he can return. When he does get the opportunity to post, he will.

So, it's coming into summer here in South Australia, and that means it's fire season. We've had several Catastrophic danger levels this month. (The scale is Low - Moderate - High - Very High - Severe - Extreme - Catastrophic, because Australia does not f@+! around.)

Today, we had a fire start out near my place of employment, which is in a rural area. Even though the wind was blowing away from us, we evacuated the whole site just to play it safe. And because it's a primary school, that resulted in 350 terrified kids and stressed teachers being kept indoors and taking drink and toilet breaks in pairs, while every member of leadership and support staff rang the parents of every child to evacuate them. I'm home now, and all the main roads near me have been closed off. I'm safe, but shaken, and it's made me realize that there may well come a time when I'm affected by a fire and won't be able to get online and let everyone know. If that happens, I'll try to get a real-life friend with a Paizo account to spread the word.

I'm safe, and I'm taking the precautions to ensure I can evacuate quickly if something happens. I've got a box with all my important documents, my photo album, and a backup of my hard drive, so I should be alright.

Ha! Yep, Australia is ruthless. We're all crazy to live here :P

I have no strength modifier, no ranks in Climb (being a stuffy intellectual type) and a -1 armor check penalty from my chain shirt, which increases to -3 because I'm at medium encumbrance (currently carrying 67 lbs). It all works out, it's just not good for me!

Gotcha, gotcha. Wasn't thinking about the encumbrance. Thanks for remembering!! Next time though, if you'd like, you can always do something creative like lowering your bag down on the rope first so you don't have to take the penalty!

Just when I was starting to really recover from my recent breakup, my beautiful spaniel Ruby-Charles died this morning. She was my first real pet, and she's left some big fuzzy boots to fill. Posting may be a bit hit-and-miss while I try to heal. Sorry to do this so soon after joining this game, but sometimes the d20 of life falls on a 1.

I'll try to have a combat post up in the morning, but if you'd rather move on without me before then, feel free to do so.

Henric is a very supporty character. I see him making a lot of use of combat advice and aid another, and if there was a way to make achemical weapons effective (with scaling DCs or something) he'd power through a lot of those as well. However, it's his various personalities and the way they all blur and surface at inopportune times that will really make him interesting.

Sorry for my tardiness. It was a tough week - between finishing up at my job and visiting my grandmother in the stroke ward, I've been rather scatterbrained, and unfortunately, this game slipped through the cracks.

Upside, I guess unemployment means I'll be able to post more, so... yay?

Henric do you write it or just read it? What fandoms?

I never wrote, but I used to read stuff in the Dragon Age and Assassin's Creed fandoms. Not long ago I was reading a corker of a Dragon Age: Inquisition fic that basically asked, "What if Anders was the Herald of Andraste?" It was hilarious! But then I lost the link, and then I started reading the Discworld novels, and now I can't stop.

Aaaaaaaand because I'm sleepy and heat-exhausted, I just had the mental image of Henric reading fanfiction and tearing it apart through structured literary analysis. Dear Mr. or Mrs. SheppardsGrl665, I found your recent literary piece 'Ass Effect', as published in an unmarked booklet surreptitiously handed to me on the corner of Blyth and Qentril, an interesting read and one well ahead of its time in more ways than one. However, I have several points of critique which I offer in the hopes of your writing improving. First, I regret to inform you that amnesia is a hackneyed plot device that should never be used outside of 2 cp bodice rippers...
