DM, in regards to your gameplay post (replying here so as not to clog that thread), I did move myself on the map, and I readied an attack action for when/if an enemy moved closer to me. I didn't try to move and attack at once, though I did pre-roll my readied attack.

OK, sorry guys. I'm going to 'try' to update today but I've got a million things to do. I'm going out of town tomorrow for a school thing and will be gone all weekend. In the past, the motel's never had internet worth a damn, so you may not see anything from me until Sunday night/Monday.

First up, I would like to apologize for my sporadic silences. I have been working up to moving house, and the big day was today. We do not have an internet connection yet, and probably will not for several days (though we are working on it). I have a smartphone with a data plan, but 500MB does not go far when I am using it for job-searching as well. However, my mother lives 5 minutes away and I am welcome there any time, and there is a library within walking distance, so I will be around.

Please do not write me out of the campaign, as this is temporary. I will be here, but sporadic. If I am holding things up, bot me. If there is something Henric would reasonably do that would help the party out of combat, have him do it if I do not get to it first. Remember, he is slightly mad due to the confusion of his blurred past lives, but they are also where he gets most of his information from. He will make Knowledge checks on everything that needs a Knowledge check (he gets a free d6 from inspiration), use any other skills that will help, and in combat, he will use Combat Advice and the aid another action to support his allies, chugging his extract of cure light wounds if he needs it (on account of having a total 7 hit points). Please try to get his voice right; he does not use contractions ;-)

I wouldn't write you out that easy! I'll wait until tomorrow to bot you to see if you're able to post on your own first.

Hey guys, I just got the internet connected. Might take me a while to get into the swing of things again, but I'm back!

I had sincerely hoped to avoid having to do this but alas, the universe is not cooperating in my favor. I have a presentation due tomorrow night that was supposed to be a group effort thing but my group has appeared to totally flake on this. Now I must rush to get this crap all done myself. I have to go out of town for my last on-campus meeting for the semester tomorrow evening so posting for the next few days will be sketchy at best.

Sorry to hear it. It's the one thing I hated most about working in teams. I once had someone on a team final project message me "I'm failing this class anyway so I'm not gonna bother." The night before it was due.

I would have been so incredibly pissed off. Luckily, the absent partner did manage to do some of the footwork and her fair share of the talking/presenting when all was said and done. I did probably 90% of the footwork myself :/
