I just learned that I am leaving tomorrow for a wedding that takes place saturday and that I won't be back until sunday evening. I did know that I was going, but not so many days. Soooo... I do not know I much I will get to write, maybe a lot, maybe not at all.

Ioann's next move is to either intimidate the villagers into getting water, or to destroy a window or something like that! Either will be fine!

Permanently, it is keyed to you and will remain magical unless separated from you or you die, after that it stays magical for 24 hours before becoming mundane.

Two bits of news. I've spoken with Uklod's player, and regretfully he is withdrawing from the game and paizo in general. He said he's having trouble finding the time lately to log on.

The second bit of news, Ake's player wrote me a message and wanted to apologize to everyone for his absence. He is having a really rough time right now, and is understanding that we are moving on without his characters. He said he thinks it was the right call.

So, we have a couple of replacements to make if that is what you guys wish to do.

So would we want to look for more melee, magic (Divie/Arcane)? Or just run with 4 guys?

It's possible with something like magus that both roles could be filled by one person.

I'm one of those from the RoW game that may come over and help fill in the gaps. There is another as well, if she decides to join too. Not quite sure what I would build yet, not sure what wholes need plugged in the group. It seems that you're fairly well covered on most things so are there particular skills/rolls you want filled?

Well, as I mentioned above, I am leaning towards a Magus(Bladebound/Hexcrafter) - so perhaps something Divine?


Wasn't sure from your post whether you were leaning towards the arcanist or magus.

I think they have divine well covered with a cleric and paladin and then a witch for arcane/pseudo divine. Barbarian (and magus assuming you go that route) for melee.

What sources are allowed for race/class?

Well, we *are* replacing a wizard (arcane) and an inquisitor (divine); what were you leaning towards?


Not entirely sure yet, part of it depends on what books we can draw from. If allowed I'd love to try out a psychic, but I don't know that Twilight will allow the occult classes. Other than that I'm not entirely sure, when you get down to it we don't necessarily have to match the categories of the classes we're replacing. I'd think something more support based might be worth the effort but I'm not sure.

Well, the group does already have a cleric and a paladin. So healing might not be a problem. I think what we need most is arcane and someone with useful skills.

Awe, I love all of you guys, too!

No real rush. The opening of the AP is based around everyone having come to the town of Ravengro for the funeral of one Petros Lorrimor. Everyone having known him at some point, and considered him a dear friend. As a condition in his will, he's asked the group to stay in Ravengro for one month to help make sure his daughter Kendra Lorrimor is back on her feet and able to move on with her life. I had the last person to join (one of the ones who just left us) arrive in town late due to being lost on the road. That being said, if you guys have an idea in mind for you being in Ravengro that doesn't center around the funeral of Professor Lorrimor, I'm open to ideas.

I could make a full caster, since they're pretty SAD, but you already have a witch and a cleric. My investigator could work as a skill monkey with that 17 in int, but he'd be godawful at everything else - no survivability, and no combat ability. This is tough.

I'd say full caster.

Drogeney of the two options you listed, Psychic seems more apt to the setting and I've yet to see one in action, to played the right way Summoner can be creepy/cool so whatever works.

There's already a full arcane caster and a full divine caster, though. I'm really not sure how to make another without stepping on any toes, and Drogeny's considering a psychic already. Really, it's that the RNG hates me :P There's also the fact that I find full casters boring and never know what to do with them...

Could be I just let the lucky ones play. You don't really need three more people. :P
