Sorry, feel free to bot, I have 3 midterms coming next week, (two on Monday T.T) I completely forgot to check my games when I got home to my laptop. I have barely started reworking him either. Suppose it would be a nice break. Am I going as he is, or under the assumption I DID take Improved TWF?

As is, he's out a feat. I'm cool if you want to replace Improved Two Weapon Feint with Imp. Two Weapon Fighting.

Sadly, the initials of ITWF doesn't work in this case =v). Post when you can.

Shayn: I think you can identify that scroll with read magic. Ghost-breath doesn't have that, since he's a barbarian and all (theoretically).

There is nothing more in the garden. But there is debate about resting in Gameplay as well.

Thanks. First time as a PbP GM and not a ton of GM experience in general yet, but I'm going to be running Hell's Rebels for my IRL group when we finish Rise of the Runelords, so the sooner I suck it up and start running games more, the better. :)

Side note: I'm reading through Hell's Rebels as the books get in, and so far it's fantastic.

The atmosphere is great, the moral ambiguity is better. I, uh, statted out every unstatted NPC in the book (minor spoilers for players). Ahem. I may or may not return to them in the middle of the night, fawn over them, and talk to them because they're my friends.

As for our recruitment here for the game: I'm with the GM that anyone that wants to come and play should be welcome. However, I wouldn't mind at all having someone that can actually heal us. My trick with the "angel cats" last fight was as lame as they come!

Recruitment's open for another 13 and a half hours - ready, go! Haha. :)

Lol I just found your thread! I actually already submitted a character there... Another Shadow Puppeteer! Lol. I didn't know it was you hosting there. Since we're already playing together in a game and I'm using a shadow puppeteer, if you don't mind I'd like to change my submission to something else! Anything in particular that is "lacking" over there at the moment?

That's funny - I was totally thinking of you when I saw Kalen, but I'd never made the connection that you were the same person. :) I think arcane is what we're lightest on so far, so some kind of arcane caster would probably be most helpful. If you want to stick with shadow puppeteer, feel free - I don't mind.

I'm gonna propose something different - an arcane caster, like you said. Give me some minutes to cook something together :)

I love Shadow Puppeteers and their versatility, but especially because we're already together in a game I'm playing one, I want to propose something different. :)

Well, theory was a strong word. I was mulling over if she was Sonnorae, but had kind of shelved it in my mind. That the speak with dead questions (which were more oriented towards our immediate survival ) confirmed it was kind of welcome coincidence.

I'm hoping to start things up again Wednesday night'ish. If not that night, then Friday night.

Who am I kidding. Mostly likely Saturday morning'ish.

Oh, good, Ellyrion can duel. Weirdest thing, the dirty trick fighter/rogue isn't the best in an honorable duel. ;)

There's also the fact that that wagon wheel may not make the best "blade". ;)
Tariel might also have been an option, but he hasn't posted anywhere I can find since the beginning of the month.

Ellyrion has the Opportune Parry and Riposte Deed. I'm not sure how to use that here. Should I just roll an extra attack (or two)? It's basically taking an AoO to make a Melee attack miss, followed by an immediate action attack if the parry succeeds.

That sounds about right. Just burn a Panache and roll. You know what you are rolling against since my roll is already posted. If you get it, then just ignore the damage and roll to attack. Try to make it simple.

Well with that, I'm going to put the game on pause for now. Tariel appears to be MIA, so that leaves us with 3. With the holidays coming, it will make recruiting and maintaining any new characters in an upstart game like this difficult.

I believe we have a good core group of players to continue this game after the New Year. I have a vision of how to tell this story and I would like to see it come to fruition (not just end in frustration =v).

Ellyrion, I apologize for cutting this short after you just joined us. I will PM you and everybody else after the New Year to see if you want to continue The Harrowing. I'm not leaving the boards anytime soon.

I am open to continuing now if any of ya'll can refer some committed players. I just think open recruitment is a crap shoot at this time.

Unfortunately I don't know anyone else looking for a game to commit to. May I make a suggestion? Right now, the action's mostly between Ellyrion and the Rabbit Prince. Could we go ahead and wrap that duel up before putting things on hold? I feel like it'll make things easier.

I probably should have clarified that I was going to get us to a good stopping point before shutting things down.

Off the top of my head, Feral, Amazing Red (they've probably already played it); Khelreddin, Oladon. All are reliable.
