I can put together some kind of full BaB beatstick something, since that's what we appear to be short on at this point. Unless you think wildshaping on my druid will cover it. I'm fine either way.

At a brief glace, the druid choices both seem to be animal companion focused.

My druid's archetype gives some buffs to wildshaping and summons, as well as some bonus combat feats, so it's a fairly bruiser-esque build in general. But I'll put together some sort of Strength based character to change things up. Expect it by morning.

I'm really kind of addicted to putting characters together, anyway. I'm not even bothered. :)

Yes, I am very animal companion focused. That's definitely the focus of my character. Personally Sheyan will be all about buffing and healing, and joining melee if needed.

Also riddle me this, anybody else notice that Reeses Peanut Butter Cups have shrunk in size?

I don't think they have gotten smaller, I believe we have gotten bigger!

Ok, this is Rennai with one last character. Slightly more off the wall - she's a cad fighter 7/makeshift scrapper unchained rogue 3, built around dirty trick/disarm/trip combat maneuvers and improvised weapons. Pretty much focuses on providing tons of debuffs to help everyone else hit better.

Neb, if you decide it's more than you want to fuss with I'm glad to rebuild her as a brawler, but for all the descriptors in her class levels, it's actually not too complicated of a build.

She shouldn't step on other rogue toes, either - she doesn't have trapfinding or danger sense. The rogue levels are pretty much just for the couple of sneak attack dice and getting Throw Anything and Slowed Reactions, since the cad doesn't gain a ton of useful stuff after level 7. And she's happy to be a flanking buddy. :)

I'll finish my character sometime tonight.

Looking for New Players

I'm reopening Recruitment for this game as we've lost a few players early on. I would say we are about 1/8th of the way through.

This game is a bit of a challenge as resources are limited and not everything is spelled out. Information will have to be teased out of the environment or character interaction. If you are looking for a mindless dungeon crawl, please move along.

Character creation guidelines are within the first few posts of this thread. I hope you'll join us and ... welcome to my nightmare.

Me particularly, not really. Of course, I'm the guy who's trying to kill ya. My vote would be for a halfling commoner =v)

The party is made up of a fighter/rogue, a rogue, a bard/summoner and an oracle.

I would ask that the character be willing to interact with the other PCs and the environment. If you are going to be a lump on the wall, it doesn't enhance the story very much.

Please don't join this game if:

• You don't like mysteries, riddles, enigmas, and healthy doses of frustration at your own intellectual limitations because the GM is being adequately obtuse.
  
• You're bad at thinking. Intuitively. And... nonlinearly.
  
• You think metaphors a deep pit you have crawl into to find truth, which turns out to be nothing but a lump of coal.

I present to you Ellyrion Lanethriellyn, elven magus (bladebound, kensai) 7/swashbuckler (inspired blade) 3, for your consideration.

I am a huge fan of puzzles, riddles, mysteries, and enigmas.

I'm not sure how much background you want. This character is based on an elven bladesinger I played for several years back in 2nd edition. Oddly he adventured with a centaur fighter and a dwarven fighter/thief (they didn't call them rogues back then).

Also, not sure how you would like to handle the Black Blade since we aren't supposed to roll up the character with any equipment.

Cheese it! The oracle makes his own weapons and armor.

Hello! I have been wanting to partake in this AP for awhile now. That being said, I'll try to have something submitted tonight.

As it stands, I would greatly enjoy playing a Formless Adept Psychic. The RP aspects of the class look like a lot of fun. Anyways, as for race I would love to play a Kitsune. I know they are a exotic sort but will provide awesome role play opportunities.

Ellyrion will most likely start with something more mundane, I just haven't thought of it yet. So I don't know if that will damper your spirits in joining. But since you like riddles, let's see if you can correctly answer one that stumped the party. You only get one guess. But if you answer correctly, you'll have your Black Blade if selected.
