Appearance

In this case, I won't use the orignal image I found for my character as it has clothes/etc in it. I'll just use this one so you can picture a face along with the ridiculous attire.

I'm dotted in, but away from the computer tonight. I'll be posted in Gameplay in the morning when I can do it on the computer instead of the phone.

Getting it out of the way now - here's what I'm thinking for my weapon, wielding two-handed leading with the broken-off point of the rim on the upper right in the picture. Think it could be sharp enough to do piercing, or you want to stick with bludgeoning? And either way, does 1d10 sound good for the damage die? Puts it on par with the greatclub.

I would count as an improvised weapon most likely, personally I'd give it 1d8. If only because of the awkwardness of it.

Oh yeah, improvised is a given, but I'm built around improvised weapons. I was going back and forth between 1d8 and 1d10, but I think sheer size and momentum might push it into d10 territory.

I just had surgery. Nothing life threatening, but I'm going to be in a lot of pain and on a lot of drugs the next week. Please DMPC as necessary.

I actually have the deck in both physical and PDF forms, and have used it for characters before - see here for my NPC I'm planning for our IRL Hell's Rebels campaign when we finally get to it. (Valeria's a character from our current game that happens to tie in perfectly as a lead-in to Hell's Rebels.)

There's a reason I wanted to play this module so bad. I love the Harrow - it's probably one of my favorite bits of Golarion fluff. But Kaelin's not necessarily as familiar with it. :P

ID'ing creatures will be more difficult since they may not look or act exactly like they normally would. Expect a +2 to +5 to the usual DC. I will also provide the bonus information when the DC is beat by 5 or more.

would the hot tea still require me a will save? it may not even be the drinks, so I was just wondering.

Yeah that's how I'm kind of feeling too. I didn't realize the social situations were going to be so complex and my negative cha character is like "Uhh, durr, can't speak".

Ghost-Breath can by scary or charming, but deceit is not really his bailiwick.

I'm also a little confused by the last post; I'm not sure what he's saying.

Oh, I can lie just fine, but I have no idea on what to say or lie at all. I'm trying to play my character, which at the moment is just intrigued with all of that circus. Think about it... I am a Geisha/Shadow Puppeteer, slaved to entertain in the past...

Brainstorming:

Literal: some sort of plant, silk
Metaphorical: silence
Literary: smoke (Alice in Wonderland)

I was thinking a word - same idea as silence. I thought silk as well, especially with the "fabricate" comment, but I feel like a more metaphorical answer would be the way to go.

I doubt plant or silk. That's going off of the idea that you can use different amounts of the same thing.

Silence? I could see that. Maybe light as an alternative.

Smoke goes into the same vein as the first part. Different amounts.

You don't really think of light as coming from the mouth, though, and that's where speech/silence could be seen as actually coming from.

Who said it had to come from the mouth? It just has to be able to fit in it as well as a room, not necessarily at the same time or in any particular order.

Could be a play on words. Breath and breadth - breath in the mouth, breadth of a room.

Air also fits, sorta. Song as well. I don't buy light.

I can't really figure out why the Caterpillar part is critical. And why did he give Kaelin the creepy eye before asking? Is that relevant? (Other then you do look like Alice. Perhaps simply be homage to Caroll on the DMs part.)

Breadth does not fill up a room though.

I don't like air, same problem as the others. Different amounts. Why not crickets? Why not acorns? With different amounts, anything can fill that up.

I'm thinking some kind of speech is most likely - and Kaelin was being a smart mouth to him. :) I'll wait till morning so others can chime in, and if we decide that's the answer, I can give it, or someone else, either way.

Eh, I'm still not a big fan of sound based things. Seems too wishy-washy. My vote is light, but of course I will bow to the will of the majority.
