Brandark Plainswalker |

Brandark moves over to the questioning.
Shall I treat him as dwarves in the past have dealt with him and his ilk ??
He shall not feel it though the ground might.
He makes a point of poking the blade head at the Ogre

Flynn Elric |

They've been moved, I have a friend adept at dealing with Ogres and Giant-kin. How many of you are there? Locations and number. Answer and you'll see them again
Flynn swats away Brandark blade with his own Scimitar offhand as he question, Trying to get information, please don't make threats. He shakes his head and mutters something in Elven.
Impatient Soldiers

Brandark Plainswalker |

Once you are done with the information, I will deal with him as they have dealt with the folk around here. After all, I do not make idle threats.
Brandark moves off to catch his breath mumbling under his breath

Flynn Elric |

Only thing left are the stone giants in the throne room, that was the last Kreeg

Flynn Elric |

Well, we know what we're up against, we can form plan. Some kind of ambush seems best. Flynn offers his tactical advice

Brandark Plainswalker |

Ambush sounds good.
Branark walks to Stone.
I am still bleeding under the armour. Can you be seeing to the injuries
after that, he approaches the map thatis roughly drawn in to show the throne room.

Brandark Plainswalker |

Oops, I missed that healing because of the floating black bar problem I have. it keeps covering things on me. :(

Brandark Plainswalker |

[ooc]Or the remains of Commander Rayden.[/oo[

Flynn Elric |

i didnt think to ask about it. I say north passage, though its a 50/ 50 shot really so im not sure it matters which we pick

Flynn Elric |

either way we'll have an unexplored area and we more or less know what beasts are left. We'll come back and explore the other wing after this one

GM Mazra |

As the party turns to the right, they see a gigantic chamber that extends into darkness to the east, sloping upward between two wide ledges on which loom statues with angular faces, stern brows, and strong jawlines. Above, the ceiling opens to the slate gray sky above. The ramp leads up in tiers, finally coming to an end before an immense stone throne.
Two Giants stand on the ledge to the right. One near the entrance, and another further up. Another Giants sits on the throne. And a familiar, to most, woman stands next to the throne.

Devora's Initiative: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
Knowledge (Local): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17
"Stone Giants," Devora calls out. "Wasn't expecting that," she sighs. "Tough skin and powerful." She then questions, "Who's the redhead?" Devora then steps behind Stone.
The Pathfinder then begins to add to her story of how the brave heroes of Sandpoint faced Stone Giants.

Brandark Plainswalker |

how high is the ledge ?

GM Mazra |

Interesting, the AP does not say. There is a series of giant-sized step up leading toward the throne. I would say each step slopes up about 3 feet. These step ups would not be difficult terrain as it is gradual. This would mean that the ledge is at least 10 feet at the bottom, where the party is located, tapering to level below the throne's incline, which is another 3 to 5 feet sloping upward.

Brandark Plainswalker |

Brandark moves up while cursing his shorter legs.
I really could use my horse right about now. he grumbles.
he sets himself up for any attacks.

Severo Lione |

Ooh, I like Prayer. Severo's starting HP should be full right?
Severo moves in line with Stone and Flynn and takes a shot at stone giant 1 with his bow and even more zeal than normal on his side.
Bow: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (6) + 15 = 21
Dam: 1d8 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8 Includes Bardic Performance and Prayer.

Flynn Elric |

Flynn starts shooting at the throne sitting Giant, We dont quite know, but she's involved in a lot. i could have found out but someone attacked her prior.
Attack: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (7) + 12 = 19
attack 2: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (9) + 12 = 21
damage: 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8
damage 2: 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14

GM Mazra |

Round One
The giant sitting on the throne calls out.
Then a ghostly hand touches Severo, draining life from the Paladin.
Lucretia whispers to the giant then looks at the party, "Tu Da Loo" and disappears.
Stone says a Prayer. Always a good thing.
Elektra Hastens the party.
Flynn fires a pair of arrows across the vast chamber toward the sitting giant. His first arrow missed. The second arrow seemed to bounce off the giants skin like it was made of stone.
The first Stone Giant throws rocks at the first to enter the vast chamber. The first rock hits Flynn squarely. The second one sailed over Flynn's head.
Stone Giant 1 rock 1: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (16) + 11 = 271d8 + 12 ⇒ (5) + 12 = 17
Stone Giant 1 rock 2: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 151d8 + 12 ⇒ (7) + 12 = 19
Flynn takes 17 points of damage.
The second Stone Giant jumps into the pathway. It throws a rock at the Half-Orc. The rock falls harmlessly short and in front of the Paladin.
Stone Giant 2 rock 1: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (1) + 11 = 121d8 + 12 ⇒ (4) + 12 = 16
Devora begins to add to her epic poem.
Severo with bow in hand, fires an arrow at the nearest Stone Giant. It bounces off the creatures tough skin.
Brandark advances up the pathway.

Round Two

Another BBEG |

The giant sitting on the throne curses as arrows are fired toward him.
Then the ghostly hand reaches out toward Severo again, draining more life-force from the Paladin.
Vampiric Touch: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (19) + 14 = 333d6 ⇒ (6, 2, 6) = 14
Severo takes 14 more points of damage. 47/76

Severo Lione |

Looking back it does appear I saved the LoH that I planned on using before the ogres were beaten. On a similar note, who actually got hit by the first vampiric touch? The first post said Flynn, and the second said Severo, but the first update didn't subtract any HP from either.

GM Mazra |

Correction. The second Vampiric Touch does target Severo.
Sitting Giant 25 (AC? ?/?)
Lucretia 24 (AC? ?/?)
Stone 24 (AC22 68/68)
Elektra 22 (AC13 42/42)

Devora 10 (AC19 44,44)
Severo 10 (AC23 72/76)
Brandark 8 (AC21/20/G24? 61/61)
Severo will be at 58 after the sitting Giant's second Vampiric Touch.
Please confirm your HPs and AC and let me know if this is not correct. Thanks again Severo for catching this.

Devora Heidmarch |

Devora continues her epic poem, but adds "Focus on the nearest Stone Giant first." The Pathfinder fires a pair of hastened arrows at the first Stone Giant. Both arrows stick into the big giant.
Devora Short Bow + Inspired + Haste + Prayer 1st attack: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (19) + 13 = 321d6 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10
Devora Short Bow + Inspired + Haste + Prayer 2nd attack: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (14) + 13 = 271d6 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11

Brandark Plainswalker |

Brandark stows his axe, and then draws his bow as he moves back down towards the party.
I will, but I cannot get up there.
move equivalent stow, Move=draw weapon while moving. no standard

Flynn Elric |

Flynn being rather injured cast cure moderate wounds on himself
cure: 4d8 + 8 ⇒ (7, 1, 5, 4) + 8 = 25

GM Mazra |

Round Two
The ghostly hand changes target for fresh prey delivering a strike against the Half-Orc Paladin.
Again Lucretia disappears.
Stone dispels the ghostly hand.
Elektra prepares to counter the sitting Stone Giant's next spell.
Flynn gives himself some healing.
The first standing Stone Giant continues its attack on the freshly healed Inquisitor.
Stone Giant 1 rock 1: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (5) + 11 = 161d8 + 12 ⇒ (6) + 12 = 18
Stone Giant 1 rock 2: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 171d8 + 12 ⇒ (1) + 12 = 13
The nimble Flynn dodges both incoming rocks.
The second Stone Giant takes a big step down into the pathway leading up to the throne. It fires a rock at the Dwarf that has moved to the party's front.
Stone Giant 2 rock 1: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (5) + 11 = 161d8 + 12 ⇒ (4) + 12 = 16
But the rock rolls harmlessly short of its target.
Devora pumps two arrows into the first Stone Giant. She does a cute little jig after the second arrow.
Brandark changes weapons as the giants are all at range.

Devora Heidmarch |

The Pathfinder continues to inspire the party with her epic poem, then continues to fire arrows at the first Stone Giant. Her next arrow hits the tall humanoid. Her second arrow bounces off its stony hide.
Devora Short Bow + Inspired + Haste + Prayer 1st attack: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (9) + 13 = 221d6 + 9 ⇒ (3) + 9 = 12
