Severo Lione |

I missed the haste last time. Severo's speed is 40, which is really appreciated right now.
The paladin powers on to meet the stone giant blocking the parties path. Severo continues to keep up what little pressure he can provide with his bow and gritted teeth/tusks. Now if only he could roll over a four to hit them.

Stone will bring in some help with a Spiritual Ally.
School evocation [force]; Level cleric/oracle 4
CASTING
Casting Time 1 standard action
Components V, S, DF
EFFECT
Range medium (100 ft. + 10 ft./level)
Effect spiritual ally of force
Duration 1 round/level (D)
Saving Throw none; Spell Resistance yes
DESCRIPTION
An ally made of pure force appears in a single 5-foot square within range. The ally takes the form of a servant of your god.
The spiritual ally occupies its space, though you and your allies can move through it, since it is your ally. The spiritual ally carries a single weapon, one favored by your deity (as for spiritual weapon), which has the same threat range and critical modifiers as a real weapon of its form. Each round on your turn, starting with the turn that you cast this spell, your spiritual ally can make an attack against a foe within its reach that you designate. The spiritual ally threatens adjacent squares and can flank and make attacks of opportunity as if it were a normal creature. The spiritual ally uses your base attack bonus (gaining extra attacks if your base attack bonus is high enough) plus your Wisdom bonus when it makes a melee attack. When the spiritual ally hits, it deals 1d10 points of force damage + 1 point of damage per 3 caster levels (maximum +5 at 15th level). It strikes as a spell, not a weapon, so it bypasses DR and can affect incorporeal creatures.
Each round after the first, you can move the spiritual ally as a swift action. It has a speed of 30 feet, and a fly speed of 30 feet (perfect maneuverability). Being a construct of force, the spiritual ally cannot be harmed by any physical attacks, but dispel magic, disintegrate, a sphere of annihilation, or a rod of cancellation affects it. A spiritual ally‘s AC against touch attacks is 10.
If an attacked creature has spell resistance, you make a caster level check (1d20 + caster level) against that spell resistance the first time the spiritual ally strikes it. If the ally is successfully resisted, the spell is dispelled. If not, the weapon has its normal full effect on that creature for the duration of the spell.
How then attacks Giant number 1

GM Mazra |

Round Three
The Sitting Giant tries to cast a Fireball to engulf the party, but his spell fizzles from Elektra's efforts.
A shimmering force appears and attacks the nearest Stone Giant with a shimmering scimitar. It gets in the way more than causing the Stone Giant any real harm.
Elektra moves up and fires a Magic Missile from her wand at the nearest Stone Giant.
Flynn fires arrows at the nearest Stone Giant. Both arrows strike the giant.
I believe Flynn gets a +14 to attack. +9 Base, +2 Courage, +1 PBS, +1 Haste, +1 Prayer. He is exactly 30 feet away from the nearest Stone Giant. Curious, what Judgments are up for Flynn?
The nearest Stone Giant chokes up on his greatclub and tries futilely to attack the shimmering force that suddenly appeared.
The second Stone Giant continues to lob rocks at the party. He aims for the largest one approaching.
It aims for Severo. The Paladin takes 20 points of damage.
Stone Giant 2 rock 1: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (8) + 11 = 191d8 + 12 ⇒ (5) + 12 = 17
Stone Giant 2 rock 2: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 241d8 + 12 ⇒ (8) + 12 = 20
Severo dodged the first rock, but was hit by the Stone Giant's second throw.
Devora continues to inspire the party with her growing epic poem. She fires more arrows at the nearest Stone Giant. Her next arrow lands true, the one after that glances off the big humanoid.
Brandark fires an arrow at the sitting giant. The arrow strikes the throne instead.

Devora Heidmarch |

Devora starts adding lines to her poem as she continues to inspire the party while at the same time firing arrows at the nearest Stone Giant.
Devora Short Bow + Inspired + Haste + Prayer 1st attack: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (13) + 13 = 261d6 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11
Devora Short Bow + Inspired + Haste + Prayer 2nd attack: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (5) + 13 = 181d6 + 9 ⇒ (5) + 9 = 14
Well at least one of her arrows will strike the nearest Stone Giant.
Devora takes a five foot step toward Flynn.
15/16 Devora will get one more Round after this to inspire the party.

GM Mazra |

Round Four
The giant smirks and fires a Magic Missile at Elektra. The Elf Magician is stung by the strike.
Stone's Spiritual Ally continues to attack the first Stone Giant. It doesn't harm the tall humanoid, but is an annoyance.
Stone then provides a little healing to the party's Paladin.
Elektra brings up a Shield.
Flynn continues to fire arrows at the first Stone Giant. His next arrow sticks into the giant. His next does not penetrate the Stone Giant's armor. Flynn's third arrow flies wide of the target.
The first Stone Giant continues to attack the nearly invisible force, like someone trying to strike an annoying fly with a log.
The second Stone Giant moves up to within ten feet of Severo and takes a swipe with its greatclub. It lands a solid blow against the Half-Orc.
Stone Giant 2 greatclub: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (10) + 16 = 262d8 + 12 ⇒ (2, 1) + 12 = 15
Devora continues her epic poem and fires a pair of arrows at the first Stone Giant. The first arrow strikes the giant, but her second arrow glances off harmlessly.
Severo lays on hands and attacks the second Stone Giant.
Brandark manages to hit the second Stone Giant with an arrow shot.

Round Five
@Severo - With the Stone Giant engaging, Severo could have made the choice to drop his bow and attack in melee. His first attack roll would have been a "2" and likely missed. But you could have taken a five-foot step and taken a second attack. If you wish to do this, go ahead and take another Round Four attack and your full Round Five attacks.

EDIT: I was able to restore it to yesterday's position. So anyone that made a change since yesterday will need to edit your move again.
@Elektra - Please note that each square is a 10' x 10'.

Round Four
After the Stone Giant moved up to take a swing at the Half-Orc Paladin, Severo steps up and returns the favor. The Paladin misses his first swing at the big humanoid, but lands a critical blow with his second almost dropping the big humanoid with this one blow.
Round Five
The sitting giant fires another Magic Missile at the Elf Wizard. But this time the sure incantation was absorbed by Elektra's newly raised Shield.
Stone's Spiritual Ally maneuvers toward the back of the first Stone Giant. The first Stone Giant takes an opportunity to attack the Ally but its blow has no effect on the spiritual entity. It was an easy climb to the ledge. Stone then attacks the Stone Giant landing a near critical strike with his shimmering scimitar. Stone's Ally also attacks but has less luck getting in a blow against the Stone Giant.
The first Stone Giant staggers but does not fall.
Stone would not have been able to charge up the ledge. I waived the climb check.
Elektra double-times it toward the second and sitting Stone Giants.
Flynn puts an arrow into the first Stone Giant. The first big humanoid staggers and falls down unconscious. The Inquisitor then rapidly turns his attention to the second Stone Giant. An arrow strikes the second Stone Giant. His third arrow glances off the Stone Giant's naturally tough skin.
The second Stone Giant takes a step back and continues its attack against the Half-Orc. It first swipe strikes the Paladin, but the hasty Severo was able to duck under the second swing.

Devora smiles as she sees the first Stone Giant stagger and fall. She then double-times it toward the second Stone Giant.
Severo continues his attacks against the second Stone Giant. His next blow renders the big humanoid unconscious it falls backward landing hard on the sloped surface.
Nice attacks!
With the second Giant now down, Brandark runs toward the last remaining giant still sitting on its throne.

Brandark must roll a DC18 Fort Save. If Brandark fails the save he receives the exhausted condition.
Exhausted
An exhausted character moves at half speed, cannot run or charge, and takes a –6 penalty to Strength and Dexterity. After 1 hour of complete rest, an exhausted character becomes fatigued. A fatigued character becomes exhausted by doing something else that would normally cause fatigue.
If Brandark makes his DC18 Fort Save he is fatigued.
Fatigued
A fatigued character can neither run nor charge and takes a –2 penalty to Strength and Dexterity. Doing anything that would normally cause fatigue causes the fatigued character to become exhausted. After 8 hours of complete rest, fatigued characters are no longer fatigued.

Severo Lione |

YOU MEET YOUR END, CHURL!
Severo barrels ahead as fast as he can to approach the sitting giant. Run action. Double move with 40ft per round should put Severo where I placed him I think. Also due to haste, his AC should be 24, so I believe his HP should now be 44, is that right? I'll have him use another Lay on Hands either way.

@Severo-I am showing an AC24. The Stone Giant rolled a 24 on its first attack. It just missed its second thanks to the Haste. Severo took 23 points of damage. You LoH would get you back up to 48HP.
BTW-The AP is not clear about the ledges. They are not enough to require a climb check. So, treat the ledge squares as simply difficult terrain.
After Flynn's post I will recap the Round.
Also, I placed Caleb's token back near Elektra for placement in the next Round.

Round Six
As Brandark approaches the sitting Stone Giant, the large humanoid barks at the Dwarf, points a finger, then a black Ray of Exhaustion streams forth striking the Cavalier. Brandark resist its full effect.
Brandark takes a -2 to Strength and Dexterity due to fatigue.
Stone too will notice the horrible looking creature coming up from behind. He motions to his Spiritual Ally, and both move toward the new threat. The Ally flies toward it in a position between this horror and the party.
Stone will move behind Flynn.
Elektra begins to re-summon in Caleb for some assistance.
Glistenwing flies toward her master.
Flynn moves toward the sitting Giant and continues to fire arrows at it. His first arrow was almost a critical strike against the Stone Giant. His next arrow misses its target.
Both fallen Stone Giants stabilize in their unconscious state.
Devora begins adding lines to her epic poem. She continues to move toward the sitting Giant.
This so reminds me of Journey Quest. If you have not seen Journey Quest you need to. It is required viewing for anyone that plays in a fantasy roll playing game. It is available on Amazon Prime and YouTube. The beginning of the very first episode reminds me of Devora.
By the way, Round Seven will be it for benefiting from her +2 to hit and damage. She will not know what to add to her poem.
Devora pauses to fire an arrow at the sitting Giant. The arrow harmlessly bounces off the Stone Giant's tough skin.

Another BBEG |

The sitting Stone Giant stands. He is tall. He yells out, "All lesser creatures will fear me!"
What a blow hard.
He cast a Fear spell that will capture both Brandark and Severo.
Brandark and Severo must make a DC19 Will Save or become Panicked. Even if you make your save, you will become Shaken for one Round.
Panicked
A panicked creature must drop anything it holds and flee at top speed from the source of its fear, as well as any other dangers it encounters, along a random path. It can’t take any other actions. In addition, the creature takes a –2 penalty on all saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks. If cornered, a panicked creature cowers and does not attack, typically using the total defense action in combat. A panicked creature can use special abilities, including spells, to flee; indeed, the creature must use such means if they are the only way to escape.
Shaken
A shaken character takes a –2 penalty on attack rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks. Shaken is a less severe state of fear than frightened or panicked.

Something Horrible |

Something Horrible begins to move toward Stone, but as it does so, Stone's Spiritual Ally sees an opportunity to attack the horror as it passes.
This attack cause the horror to stop and try and engage the Spiritual Ally.
Yes. Stone's Spiritual Ally can take an Attack of Opportunity in addition to its normal Round Seven actions.

Severo Lione |

Speaking of that aura, Severo is immune to fear.
Severo laughs a borderline evil laugh under his breath as he approaches the Stone Giant at the throne.
Since I've been making a mess of my HP in other games lately, I went through the rounds again to double-check and make sure I'm not going crazy (yet). It looks like I used a Lay on Hands in round three that didnt register, then the numbers got a little weird with capped HP. So as a compromise, it looks like we were both wrong.
