This would hardly be mindless killing these are evil creatures that the Dawnflower endorse killing. But question her if you must but the her up before she breaks free of the hold. Also give thought to what you would like to do with all of these enemies if we leave them alive.

Stone moves up and brings healing to Brandark.

Severo, Flynn, Devora, possibly the Hound Archon will be able to reach the Female Ogre before it gets its second save against the Hold Person. Severo is the closest and he is beyond a standard move action. He would not be able to bind the Ogre. No time before it becomes free of the Hold. Does Flynn fire his arrows at it? What does the party do next?

Devora moves to the right, then takes deadly aim at the Ogress. The arrow skips off the stone walls.

I will wait to see what Elektra wants to do with the Hound Archon. She has both Round Eight and Nine actions to work with.

Electra uses a bit of her school abilities and shoots an acid dart on the ogre.

The hound archon quickly charges the ogre and swings his blade.

If the ogre is still alive the archon will attack twice more.

Round Eight complete

Elektra fires an Acid Arrow toward the Ogress. It splashes short of her target.

The Hound Archon Caleb moves quickly against the Ogress.

The Hound Archon would not have reached the Ogress in Round 8.

Round Nine

Caleb closes the gap and attacks the Ogress, landing a solid blow with his greatsword. The Ogress resists the Hounds aura.

@Elektra - I am showing different modifiers for your Hound Archon. Please let me know your bonuses. I could be missing something in my calculations. I am showing +11/+6; 2d6+5. I can retcon results in a future post if I am missing something.

Stone fires his crossbow at the Ogress. It ricochets off the opening to the tunnel.

Brandark keeps heading toward the Ogress.

Severo was able to engage the Ogress.

The Ogress takes a feeble swing at the Paladin.

Devora moves and fires her bow. It misses as usual.

Flynn fires a pair of arrows. The first sticks into the Ogress' Hide Armor, but does not penetrate to damage the ugly female humanoid. The second does damage.

First was with charge bonus. Second due to augment summoning the damage is increased by 3 and to hit by 2. Thanks to Power attack the damage is increased by 6 and to hit is back at the same thing.


OK. I am showing +2/+2 to hit/damage for Augmented Summoning. And I did not take in to account PA, and the Charge. So, I am closer to your stats. Thanks for helping with this. I can use the Hound Archon's full round attack posted above for Round 10.

Right. Got it. Thanks. Pretty awesome to go from +3 damage in the statblock to +14. One thing is I tend to not assume PA, as some don't want to take the "to hit" penalty. Thanks again for providing the detail.


I am going ahead and moving on without Severo and Flynn's post. The Hound Archon will be able to finish off the female Ogre.

Round Ten

The Hound Archon, now fully engaged with the female Ogre, strikes once, then twice. The female Ogre shrieks as it falls down and quickly perishes.

Many of the Kreeg clan lie unconscious.

so what do you want to do with all the unconscious Creed's. We could question them. I understand we don't want to kill them all but I don't believe we should be leaving them loose behind us. Perhaps we could put them all down the hole let the gods decide who survives and who doesn't.

Severo then uses his strength and begins to haul ogres and one hill giant into the hole the party passed. One at a time if need be. It'll take a little bit for him to do that, so if anyone does have objections, there's time.

As the wind howls down the massive corridors, it mask the sound the party has made fighting the last of the Kreeg Ogres.

Severo and company haul all but one of the Kreeg Ogres, the one that appeared as a leader, and drops them down into the massive pit.

Flynn ties up this last Kreeg.

Severo drags the last Ogre to the edge of the pit, not quite dangling him inside, but with an obvious implied threat to do so. He stands nearby the leader, keeping a close eye on him, waiting for the giant to wake up.
