Here Here Here Here Here.
Eagarly waiting.

Brek of Unknown House |

Haven't heard from either of them.

Dmitri Mavis |

Fairly certain both have lost their interest. That's a pickle, but at least we've still got Mordin, who I'm fairly certain is around the corner. If he's waited this long, he'll suffer through anything else I imagine, and I find that commendable.

Mordin Fau |

I did not look too deeply into whatever disagreement played out between Apollo and Angmar, but if the former is truly gone this time around, perhaps the dwarf might be willing to pop in again?

leinathan |

I've just done so. Thank you for the suggestion.
I'm sorry for the delays, you guys. What's been happening in the gameplay thread lately just isn't really satisfying to me, so I've been waiting...but if you want me to just get you to the next exciting thing so we can push us forward to a point where you feel more involved, I'm totally okay with that. Especially for Mordin's entrance.

Dmitri Mavis |

Would that mean skipping the inevitable mosh pit of death that takes place when we provide some cold anarchy up in heat cavern? I'm not entirely against it but I'm up for anything at this point. Still the best game I'm a part of, or have ever been a part of and well worth waiting on.

Brek of Unknown House |

Yeah I'm totally okay with that. Boy I hope I live!
Counting Charges.....How much Infernal Healing can One take?

Brek of Unknown House |

Ouch....Maybe taking craft wand might be good....

Koritylija |

Sorry for my recent silence. I have a business trip coming up next week and have been trying to prepare. I promise I will post tomorrow. I may have more time for posting next week depending on how good the wifi is at the hotel (since I will have nothing but time at the hotel).

Brek of Unknown House |

Will be on 'Holiday' from 12th December to 22nd December. I'm told that there's no WiFi.

Brek of Unknown House |

Merry christmas Everybody! I hope the year has being good for you.
lol I have being seeding those trees.

Angmar Firefox |

Hey folks! Willing and able to come back now. Looks like I'll need to level up first though. What's our current group composition?
Kori Oracle/Barb
Dmitri Evil...
Brek Sorceror/Rogue
Mordin Vivsectionist
As Dmitri had been talking about a Cleric (which Angmar never was) I could offer to rebuild to Cleric if that would interest folks but with 3 characters capable of healing we should be okay on that front right?

leinathan |

We had a cleric for a bit, Sonja, but I think she wasnt quite ready to be back on the boards.
We're level 5 now but we'll be level 6 by the time it's appropriate to bring you in (right at the end of this battle with Thratkinas). Feel free to re-build to your heart's content. I think Warpriest would be a lovely middle ground, if you like, but Angmar was always fine as an Inquisitor if you'd just want to level up.

leinathan |

Also, this cleric archetype seems appropriate.
this warpriest archetype is interesting as well.
I do want to make an expectation clear if you are to come back, and it is that your posts are more involved on a consistent basis. When you gamed with us before, there was rarely anything in your posts other than a single line of description and a single line of dialogue, and I'd like to change that.

Angmar Firefox |

I'll give it some thought and figure out what works well for level 6 and the current group. The way I see it:
Inquisitor: Most versatile due to great skills, good combat prowess and decent and customizable spell selection.
Cleric: Most powerful casting option especially come level 5. Angmar's stats would work well here. What sucks about Cleric is the lack of skills.
Warpriest: Strongest melee option. Worst Caster. S%&~ty skills.
What's up with equipment? Should I use what I had? What about the biggo axe?

Dmitri Mavis |

I seriously can't remember if we said we kept it and sold it, or if we let you keep it when you left with that woman you were after. I'm kind of wanting to lean towards the fact that you kept it, though, because if we'd sold it I don't think we would ever have had that fiasco about gnoll-bane swords, or whatever. Seeing as how we'd have the money for them.

leinathan |

Keep what you had (if I remember, this is ring of protection +2, the +1 evil outsider bane greataxe, a +1 mace and a bunch of mundane gear). That's more than hitting WBL, something that not all players are doing, I think.
Dmitri, your current gear list needs a tad of updating, I think.

I also might argue that the warpriest's casting is superior to the inquisitor's. They have a similar number of spells per day but the inquisitor has a set spells known list, unlike the warpriest.

Mordin Fau |

Mordin still has a bit before showing up, so would you mind if I tweak a few things on his sheet? Nothing major, just some changes to his racial abilities.
Oh, and could I try rolling for hp? I figure more hit points would be better since he'll be fighting at the front line.

Angmar Firefox |

Yeah Warpriest casting is more versatile that's prolly true. However I'd argue the Inquisitor spell list is a bit more powerful.
I've been mulling things a bit and with folks discussing the lack of equipment I figured the Forgemaster Cleric Archetype might actually be an option. It loses channel which is a semi big hit.But can craft weapons quite well and is really good at casting stuff like magic vestement and greater magic weapon.

leinathan |

This one's also good for that.
Channel energy is pretty much the reason to play a cleric over another casting class... so unless you're really interested in the runeforger ability (the primary benefit of Forgemaster) it's probably a poor idea.
It's cool, though.

Angmar Firefox |

Well level 6 is around the time when Channel begins to loose it's appeal as a valid in combat action.
But I think I'll be sticking with Inquisitor. It's such a versatile class and leaving no weaknesses is what I'm really aiming for in building characters anyhow.

Brek of Unknown House |

Welcome Back Angmar and Happy New Year to the rest.
A warpriest is pretty good and the skills can be migated by going into the PrC Evanglist which can also be used for Cleric.
An Inquistor is pretty good too and I think we still have those equipment. Especially the axe.

Angmar Firefox |

Angmar is leveled to 6 and ready to go. If someone else has use for the axe you can have it as it's kindo wasted on a char with the bane ability.
But I think only Kori or Dmitri could use it an neither had expressed any interest.

Brek of Unknown House |

Dmitri loves the scythe and Kori prefers a much 'closer' experience.

Dmitri Mavis |

I mean, Mordin might be able to use it. That's always an option. Given the current circumstances. Option B is we just end up selling it, as Dmitri does indeed prefer his scythe and it's slowly expanding story.

Dmitri Mavis |

I mean if he's going to use strength based mutagens and go all hulk on us, even with his -4 penalty to using the darn thing he'd have a higher to-hit than I do with my favorite weapon.

Mordin Fau |

Yeah, Mordin would have to enlarge himself and chug a bull's strength extract to top a +8, and that's a lot of rounds and resources to spend, even for such a fine weapon. The weapon is probably worth investing a proficiency feat on, but he's already got a lot invested on his claws and teeth.
Unless he really doesn't want it, I do think it'd be best in Angmar's hands. If it's being ruled that bane stacks, then that's awesome, and even if it weren't, the inquisitor ability remains relevant since it can be used on pretty much anything.

Angmar Firefox |

I have no problem with using it. And if I can double bane all the better. Anyhow at 6 rounds per day Bane is likely to be a limited ressource currently. Btw did the math recently and Beromar's damage output is looking pretty scary once he's fully buffed...He will be very interested in flanking (much like Mordin I assume) due to Outflank and possibly this here feat which I'm sure Dimitri would enjoy Mordin prolly not so much with his 11 CON and D8 HD...

Brek of Unknown House |

Faace palm.... I don't have that much healing unless I drop the idea of going Arcane Trickster........and taking more levels in Sorceror....

Angmar Firefox |

:)
All for the greater good. Currently I was assuming Mordin would be Angmar's best flanking buddy and he looks a bit too fluffy for freindly fire so likely I'll be employing different Team Work feats as default.

Posting this in all of the Discussion pages I'm currently involved in.
Wondrous news! The court cases fell through, what with my Ex promptly realizing that suing someone for 300 dollars cost more than 300 dollars, despite me having explained that multiple times. I am officially out of that apartment and living in a dorm room again, which I'm very about. I kind of lost a few friends that were at the apartment, but only because I carefully told them that I wouldn't be coming anywhere near my ex, which they didn't really seem to understand as to why that involved them.
Anyways, yeah, new roommate, and a good semester in the future. With that, I have news that actually applies to you guys! I get to start posting consistently again, in part due to the fact that my anxiety about this whole situation is completely gone. I'm still a little bummed at the loss of friends, but I've got plenty of others and I've still got you guys, especially Leinathan, what with me and him being in games together for like a year and a half now.
So yeah, that said, the posting rate is going to skyrocket, and I seriously mean it this time. This had been going on for a long while, and it had been affecting my post rate but I originally didn't wanna mention it, until of course it started to have a realistic effect on me.
For the last few months I sincerely apologize, and I can only thank the guys in my own game for sticking it out with me. For the games that I'm currently in, I apologize, but I'm back for real and my posting rate is going to go up. Once again, I am really sorry.
So yeah. Back to business then :D
