It was a tough dungeon. Pretty sure a normal Wight has a CR 3 or 4, which is where we really want to be at or below this level. The Evil Big Bad there was a seriously beefy version.

Speaking of which, @GM Wolf, are we meant not to click on your spoilers that say "DM Notes"? Because I have to confess, that's going to be hard for me. XD I tell myself not to let player knowledge effect me, but it's hard to judge what you would think differently if you didn't know the thing that you're not supposed to know, but you really know.

For that fight they had Koldur, Johanna, Jevar, Halseen, and one more. It was above their level and they should have leveled up before coming back and thought out what other buffs they could get.

Oh yes, for a while there they were whacking back and forth and no one was hitting. What 4 rounds or so. Good thing they didn't do much damage!

It costs you 10 gp to join, and you could win 100 gp if you win. Outlast all participants: Fort save vs. poison/being drunk. Start with DC 10 and add 2 for every drink after that: 10, 12, 14, 16, ...

He ponies up the 10gp and bellies up to the table, pulling a box up to step onto the chair before downing the booze provided.

Sera was glad to be a part of celebrations at the Dwarven Fort. She was content watching her companions compete in the drinking game and clapping along to Ingvarr's songs. She probably would have stayed content with it too until Captain Garess decided to point out that drinking with soldiers, dwarves and goblins was hardly an appropriate activity for a proper Noble Lady.

So of course she chipped in her 10 gold and asked the barkeep to "Line them up."

Yes, I'm in a similar situation. The role that would best suit Seraphina in this game would be Councilor, probably. It looked like the Princess was just slotted in there to avoid the vacancy penalty but she does still have a higher CHA than Sera, so it wouldn't really benefit the Kingdom to move her out of the role.

Seraphina is interested in furthering the Kingdom's magical economy, so maybe there could be something Magister adjacent like an Arcane Advisor? I dunno, just a thought.

I am composing my time warp post, just a lot to consider.

If someone wants The Warder position, I'm fine with it.
As for the GM NPCs that are occupying the positions currently, it's fine if your stats are lower after all we're the main ones pushing the story. Think of it as they're representatives while we start exploring the map?

Also I finally made my post. hope it's enjoyable enough. Hopefully with extra plot hooks for GM wolf to use, the promise of additional companions and some character development with the others.

Yeah I get it. It's better for the kingdom to have a charismatic pair. If your cool with it I know it's a lot of GM fiat but he could die during the downtime and perhaps Ingvarr and Johanna could become close as he helps to console her. She is pragmatic enough to know a wedding to aid the kingdom and the princess is the right thing to do and if love comes later so be but if not that is alright as well.

"Yes, at least the initial ones anchored me here. This gift that I offer you is merely that, a gift. Perhaps one day you might accept other deals but those have a cost. The gift I give is permanent until I choose to take it away, which I have not done yet for the hundreds I have given.

It would affect a Chaotic planar creature negatively. Though do know you are surrounded by Lawful individuals that likely will begin to wear on you.

I probably play Sera more neutral good most of the time just because it's how my personal play style tends to run, but the Copper Dragon is chaotic and she is going "all in" with regards to her draconic nature, so she will probably occasionally grate the nerves of our more lawful and neutral companions.

Fortunately, most roles have 2 ability modifiers you can contribute and it's Charisma OR Wisdom for the High Priest.
