Ingvarr will take a 10 for a Spellcraft of 18 to identify the wands DC 18 and below, then aid Seraphina for all the others to give her a +2 on her checks. He can also cast Gallant Inspiration to give +2d4 on a failed skill check 4 times (6 times with the boost from the pool).

I suggest we start with the highest DC staves first, Seraphina, and Ingvarr can give you the +2 aid and a +2d4 on any roll if you fail.

Can I help with identifying! I have a +7 before rolling, I can take a ten to give her another +2 right?! Also can I cast Identitfy 7 times, giving me a +10 for 9x7= 63 rounds.

Wait wouldn't that be best? +17 before rolling, +2 from both of you, making it a 21 and then can I take a ten, so 31 and if I fail, then I gain 2d4 each time?

The wands and gems are from catching a Gremlin, and the special present from the DM. It is not apart of the rules of the vault of wonders! It also gives most people a chance to switch out a wand that they now have for something they want. First come first served.

So everyone can have a wand you want by switching what you got from the Gremlin and pick one item to take.

Looking at the wands for offer, Ingvarr is probably going to keep the one he found in the bag (communal protection from evil). The Rod of Piercing looks pretty good, so he may gravitate towards that...

I'm interested in the Mirror Field Plate if that's full plate. Looks like that and the Hellknight plate are the only full plate. Johanna has only a +1 dex.

Those magical items came from the vampire. You defeated the vampire and his loot appeared in the fountain. That is not apart of the Vault.

Just kidding... sorta. =P I do want to talk about maybe implementing a party pool of gold/rotating magic items so it's easy to swap them around and keep things fair while we find or craft bigger and better items. I have a spreadsheet that was set up by a rather brilliant tax lawyer I could edit with our info. =D

Those are some awesome items! Ingvarr could certainly use some of them, but a super-buffed Charisma is more important for a full caster like Seraphina.

Hundor was there but this is OOC and he wouldn't point it out in front of the whole group. He would be discrete about it, also he was mischievous to say the least in his last life sooooooo... XD

I would pass the Field Plate to Johanna since she would be frontline more often then not.

I can't recall but the hellknight plate is not something anyone can wear. Koldur won't wear that for sure.

He'll forge his axe into a magical weapon if he could but for now he's exploring a mansion.

I'll record the Rod of Piercing Metamagic as Ingvarr's special item from the vault. He already has a magic bow, and the magic armor and shields presented don't really fit his needs.

We now have 2 people through the mirror, a vault of treasures which we are selecting a special item from, and deeper caves for adventuring which give both reward and danger. Do we have a non-mirror way to track down Sable and Koldur and transport us to them (via other magic), or must we wait here for them to return?

These distinctive suits of armor are a special type of masterwork full plate that grant additional effects when worn by a character with levels in the Hell Knight prestige class. Apart from its distinctive look (each order of Hell Knights has its own style of armor), a suit of Hell Knight plate functions the same as a suit of masterwork full plate.

Thus you can use it but any hell knight that sees you wearing it would ask, if not more, to take the armor off as you have not earned it.

Olivira has her method still to get everyone to the mansion.

Or...

2) Character must sacrifice some part of her life energy (2 points of Strength) one time. If the character gets the Strength points back (such as from a restoration spell), the item ceases functioning. (The item does not cease functioning if the character receives a Constitution increase caused by level gain, a wish, or the use of a magic item.)
