I assumed there was room to walk around the pit and get to them as the pit was behind the front line we were fighting. I never intended to charge simply move in and around to the wight. It all seemed to work out though :)
Halseen Surtova
Hey. I will be leaving the game. I had a great time playing with you all. Great players and GM, however, time is becoming a more of a premium and Halseen was poorly conceived for this game. I'm happy I could help you through the fight, and wish you happy gaming with GM Wolf.
Koldur of the Axe
It's being great playing with you Halseen. May we play again some other time.
GM Wolf
With Halseen leaving I put up a new recruitment board. I am looking for 4 players and hope at least one stays! LOL!
Also you all get to level up to 5! Hundor you will be at 3 now.
Koldur and Sable are working out those kinks and getting back to fighting shape. Sure you have 5 more levels to get back to where you were at the start of all this but them are the breaks! ;)
Well maybe level six with that extra attack is more back up to par! XD
Koldur of the Axe
Level 5? Nice.
5 more levels to go now.
Koldur of the Axe
Hp Roll 1d10 ⇒ 9 Very nice.
I like the concepts being brought forward so far. We are martial heavy though. Would like to see more spell casters or skilled chars but that's more me.

I think we have plenty of good applicants coming to fill the roles we are missing. Then again so far Johanna hasn't said a peep, I hope she comes back soon too.
2d10 ⇒ (3, 2) = 5 Some how I was still level 3... 1d10 ⇒ 8 +11 hp then
Johanna "The Cat" Sinclair
I'm back. I was signed out of my paizo account and didn't realize so it wasn't showing me post in games :( Sorry.
Koldur of the Axe
Can happen to anybody.
Do preview our potential recruits.
Rai Thydel
Hi, I've got my character (almost) sorted in terms of backstory (don't look yet), and I've got a good idea of how I'd roleplay them. That said, for the items you mentioned in the recruitment thread, I'd like a Mask of Stony Demeanor for the 500 gp item, and Gloves of Reconnaissance for the 2000.
Rai Thydel
Don't look yet!?!?!? Interesting items but Rai Thydel who are you?!?
I posted this character on your recruitment thread under the alias of Draco Anabolis. Still finishing up writing the proper backstory and character description.
Koldur of the Axe
Welcome Rai.
Now who else will appear to join us.
Alembic
Friends, Romans, Countrymen, Lend me your ears!
Wait, don't cut them off! What are you doing?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well, now that that's out of the way, how is everyone? Good? Good.
So for my two items, I would like a Versatile Vest for 2,000 gp and a feather token (tree) for my 500 gp item.
Alembic
Ya, was going to. I just wanted to make sure there wasn't anything that I needed in particular, like cold weather gear or climbing gear. I should have it up tonight.
Koldur of the Axe
LOL! Wonderful Alembic!
Ah very nice choices!!! I strongly suggest you spend some of that gold and get yourself a kit and any other equipment before you meet up at the tavern...What do you think Koldur should we have some more vampires show up? LOL!
Lol what? The first few dozens wasn't enough?
Toki Wolfrider
Off in the distance a shiny rider approaches. Sunlight glints golden off his shoulders, helmet, and other pointed features. He appears much farther away than initially thought, until you realize he is simply much smaller than your average knight. With a very rounded and bulbous head. And his mount is bo horse, but a lean and very sharp-tongued wolf.
A goblin knight in shining armor? Wearing the sigil of a Brevoy house and the banner of a crusading member of the Order of the Sword? Preposterous, yet here.
"Greetings! I am known as Toki Wolfrider, and I present myself to the rulership of this land for employ as soldier, scout, and protector. "
His voice is the typical high pitch of his race, but the diction and pronunciation is straight out of Lastwall.
"Perhaps you have heard of me? Perhaps not? In either case, I am the one who slew the ogre at Clingback Bluff. A menace to the village for months, the monster would abduct young people from the fields and forests for its depraved attentions. I took their commission to rid them of the beast, and stalked it for some time. While it busied itself with a grisly meal, I charged atop Wartooth and drove my lance deep into its thigh. I must have pierced a main blood vessel as well as damaging its leg, for the ogre fell to the ground and began gushing its lifeblood with a horrible whining and crying in its native tongue."
Toki pauses and takes in the audience, trying to gauge if they care about the details or are squeamish about the situation.
"And there I sat, for several long minutes, as the rapacious and evil creature bleed out amongst its previous victims. I imagine it begged for mercy or quarter in its language, but I neither spoke it nor cared to help. The villagers were quite happy to hear the end of the ogre, and paid me the agreed upon price. And here I am, once again in search of employment and eager to slay more monsters. "
Items: ring of protection +1 (2000gp) and travelers any-tool
Seraphina Medvyed
Hail the party!
Hello, I have been in process of fixing profile with proper formatting and such and have run out of steam. I'm very pleased to be here and look forward to playing with you all.
@GM Wolf, do I also pick these items? I had purchased a Ring of Protection + 1 but will acquire it here to give me that money back. I'm going to be saving to craft a Robe of Arcane Heritage. Then I will have my own Breath Weapon! ^_^
Speaking of which, @Everyone, I took the feat Craft Wondrous Item. So if you are trying to decide between a ring, a rod/wand, or one of the many Wondrous Items, you might want to go with the former choices since I will be available to craft such items when we have a bit of down-time for nearly half the cost.
Alembic
Traveler's Anytool is a solid choice. Sleves of Many Garments are nice as well.
As far as crafting goes, I will be taking Craft Staff at 11 (since it's a prereq for an Arcane Discovery I want).
Rognar Grimtooth
|
A cracked Dusty rose prism ioun stone for 500gp for +1 init and a handy haversack for 2000gp if you please.
Also this is the return of Rognar with his trusty side kick Bill the Camel
Rognar Grimtooth

oh goodness so good to be out from the fortress you all found me in a while ago. I have been out cleaning out undead in the surrounding area with my channeling and wandering about spreading the word of Halcamora of course! Rognar says with a jaunty hat and head band tied beneath holding back his long dwarven hair from his eyes.
Rognar Grimtooth
|
what's that now? No no Halcamora is the Lady of Ripe Bounty, the goddess of revellers of wine and orchards a goddess of luck and growth! I didn't find her, she found me! I was visited a vision after a night of debauchery and woke up in one of her temples. It changed my life!
If you like good wine and good luck then Halcamora is the goddess of good times for you! Rognar jumps up and starts talking excitedly after he is asked about it.
Toki Wolfrider
"Wine? You mean grape juice that gets you drunk? Not enough sting in that stuff. Got any rkatun to drink? Now that stuff really bites ya, and gets ya drunk!"
If you know goblin, or are familiar with goblinoid customs. rakatun is a fermented drink made with highly acidic materials, almost like a vinegar-whiskey
Koldur of the Axe
"Alcohol is good in company but excess will skew your perception."
Yes Koldur is like that....He does enjoy a good drink.
Johanna "The Cat" Sinclair
Nice welcome all.

HP: 1d10 ⇒ 8
Fort +1, Will +1
+1 BaB
Picked up Channel Positive energy as cleric (Palidan level -3)
Need to pick a feat.
+1 to existing skills.
Ingvarr Battlecaller
A handsome man sits cross-legged in the afternoon shade on the porch of a small building, reading a small book to a group of children. He seems to be very animated and the young ones are enraptured by the voices he gives to each character, bringing the story to life. Finishing the book, the man hands it to one of the older children, who smiles shyly and takes his turn reading to the others. The man smiles again and moves away, headed toward the tavern and the group of adventurers he sees approaching.
"I've heard you lot are looking for help dealing with the dangerous creatures threatening the populace. I have some small skill in healing and magic, should you need my aid. The name's Ingvarr, by the way," he says.
Fair of hair and dazzling of smile, Ingvarr is a pleasing blend of human and elf. Clad in simple green and brown traveling clothes and a well-used chain shirt, he is seldom seen without a book nearby--and never seen without his ornate signal horn tethered to his side or in his hand. The shortsword at his side is well-worn, and the bow over his shoulder also shows he is fully capable of defending himself.
Diplomacy for the Storytelling: 1d20 + 27 ⇒ (19) + 27 = 46
Rai Thydel
Okay, my character description and backstory are finished! You can look now XD. I'll make another post with a character intro soon, need to help family with flea treating the doggos.
GM Wolf
Please understand you do not have these items yet. I am just collecting a treasure list, rather than having it all random!
I want confirmation from our other player before I move on, but I expect that to be soon.
Oh that's right I was going to see if Rai has a mount...
Rai please add your crunch to your profile, which should include your equipment, and a little bit more about your personality.

Ah, okay. The items for Ingvarr are a Handy Haversack (to keep all those books in and take some weight off the horse’s saddlebags) and chain barding (to add some weight for his light horse, but in the form of protection).

Ah, ok, good thing I hadn't written the mask into my backstory yet XD. Also, yes I have a mount, it's a Combat Trained Horse(Light). I'll go ahead and get that character crunch up in a l'il bit.
Rai Thydel
Okay, character crunch is now up on my profile! By the way, personality stuff is under the spoiler marked Description, just so you don't miss it. Also, what exactly is the state of Oleg's? I noticed in the gameplay tab that he isn't running it anymore cuz dead, but for how long has it been taken over, and what's the name of the current proprietor?
GM Wolf
Okay folks time to spread your wings and fly! All messages have been sent out and you have been told to meet at the Dwarven Outpost formerly known as Oleg's. Make your introductions in gameplay! Oh and the outpost looks like a dwarven fort now.
I cant remember the name! Special Bonus to whoever finds it before me! It is a clan of dwarves, that is all I can remember.
Rai how would you like a heavy horse instead? Or if that is not your style if you could upgrade the CR by 1, what would it be?
Koldur of the Axe
The dwarves sing a song of triumph and accomplishment. They surge towards your group thanking you all for your help. Many of pats on the back, merry chuckling, singing, and some dance the dwarves settle smiling at your group. One of the dwarves with salt and pepper hair takes a step to separate him from the rest of his kin, "We are the Stone Hammer clan. I am chief Morrel and these are my kin. Thank you all for driving the necromancer off and slaying the undead beggers. We can start getting back to getting this place to proper running order. Feel free to use the guest rooms as long as you wish. You are welcome to eat with us whenever you want, and use our larder as if it was your own!"
Koldur of the Axe
lol what Bonus is available or is it one of those strange ones I can pick since your lore includes Runelords. :P
Perhaps a Rune of Endurance or speed?
GM Wolf
Which will it be endurance or speed? You are talking to the GM not Olivira.
Koldur does bring up a good point, I am using rune ritual magic in this game. Blood contracts are in play as well. Really they are just magic but many view both as evil. Though we will get to that soon enough.
Koldur you remember which book the rune magic comes from?
Koldur of the Axe
Rune Magic as per The Runelords series is usable by any.
Most works of magic require the use of runes. These symbols each carry power, some greater than others. Common people can use some of them to minor effect, though they are most powerful when created by wizards. Anyone may draw runes of strength to make a stone keep durable, but those same runes drawn by a wizard will protect a fortress's walls for centuries.
Koldur will take speed. He's a bit slow being a dwarf. :P
