Maybe Nemana and Liam met up in the stolen lands? Liam could have been attacked and had an archer and her psychopomp wolf that happened to be nearby come to the aid of another of Erastil's faithful. Or vice versa, with Nemana and Wolf being in trouble until the bad guys catch on fire.

Whichever you feel more excited about playing, I suppose. They lived through this much without any sort of party balance. It's not like we NEED to have the perfect ratio of ranged to melee, or even that we want it. Just do whatever.

Hmmm the Slayer will be easier to tie in. With all three of us worshiping Erastil, two of us being Divine servants of a matter (One a paladin, one a Deliverer), and all three of us being woodsmen and rangers it'd be interesting.

Here is the character crunch for now I need to work with the other two for fluff.

Depending on how the GM sees Drow and how they relate to everything (If it's like Forgotten Realms or other) I will say he would be probably a Drow that as a child was part of a coming of age attack on the surface world and was 'slain' in battle. He had a guardian angel (so to speak, given the Celestial Blessing) that prevented his death and he was adopted by the elves. He was taught the ways, yadda yadda, and became used his martial prowess to become a divine instrument even though he himself was not blessed by the divine...just had a divine experience. Thoughts?

Nemana's soulbound to the spirit of a dead wolf that turned into a psychopomp. She isn't gonna throw stones just because your skin is a few shades darker than most elves. Especially since you're doing your best to serve Erastil, because honestly who doesn't love the god of community and hunting?

Good good, best to not be racist. Also...beware I have a weasel(Ermine) that is trained to find shiny things on dead people...I have no handle animal so this might go poorly and he might steal from people >.>

(I'm lazy as a player so I typically at character gen buy a weasel to pick up gold off dead people cause I forget to say I'm searching the bodies...some GMs are sticklers..but I found they are good fluff too, plus you get to make them tiny backpacks and and make them wear Sherlock Holmes hats.)

As far as an Enemy for him, all reptilian kind (Kobolds, Dragons, Lizardfolk)

Alright...I have updated my profile with his crunch and backstory. GM if you would like to peruse and validate I would appreciate it. Nemana I added a bit of a narrative to tie our two characters together so if you will also take a look at the backstory (The last paragraph if you feel it's TLDR for the whole thing.)

Drow? Fair warning, Koldur is a dwarf that is unapologetic at times and has more insert foot in mouth incidents alone then the entire party combined.
He's not out to say things that are hurtful but being ignorant of some things, he blurts out what he thinks.

He sin't racist or anything since he has had an adventuring training company somewhere up in the mountains.

Do not worry, nearly 2/3 of my dwarves are surely uncouth men who tell terribly racist jokes. It happens with Dwarves, them poncy elves always skirting about.

It also doesn't help that in an at table game I have a Dwarf who has hatred trees (one done leap from the ground and killed his grandfather you know. Can't turn your back on em).

I'd prefer the campfire meeting, so that we can interact with eachother without death looming over us immediately. Also we can have tense standoffs. Wolf can be standing guard near the campsite and scare someone a little, maybe. He speaks the common tongue, and anything Nemana does actually, so how do you guys think you'd react to a smoky wolf with a bone-white mask and a rune on its head descending partway down a tree and asking what your business is?

Campfire meeting is best. We already have 2 hired hobgoblins and having one more is fine. Koldur is more open minded then most having trained more then quite a few adventurers in his life.

Probably the best way since you have a hobgoblin and we have a work agreement with the one with us is having Hykan be related / good friend with them.

Goblinoids are Nemana's enemy of choice.

She doesn't set traps, but she takes the first watch with Wolf. I've got a post ready for if I am on watch and an idea for one if I'm not on watch.


I will be away Friday through Sunday for camp, you will be lucky if I get any posting in during that time. I may not be able to get any more posting in until Monday.

You mean the way we have watches and the like set up? Nemana and Wolf would probably take first watch, but I don't know the rest of it. We'd probably set up in a classic adventuring camp, arranging the tents around the fire in the middle. It's a good system in that everyone is pretty much equidistant from everyone else with 3 people, and we're all close enough that commmotion in one tent could rouse the other person currently asleep. Splitting the watch into 3.5 hour blocks lets everyone get their rest.

Camping:

Jevar would likely take last shift to take advantage of his low light vision. Though can take other if needed. He would be hiding up in a tree if possible to watch from for his watch, just as it's easier to hide keep out of range of most pesky animals or sword wielding lunatics. Otherwise, he would enjoy the use of a tent when able.
