I added the reported area of the Stag Lord's Fort to your map in yellow.

Remember, in order to go anywhere, I need your speed (15 to 50 feet), your route, and whether you're exploring on the way or not. Also keep in mind you don't have to explore every hex, and each hex you explore yields 100 xp per character.

Actually, pony-back unencumbered is 40ft, but Caladrel has oodles of stuff, so he'd go 30ft :P

If we could get strong enough horses (war horses?) that they were all under light encumbrance, we could go 50' ^^
Good luck convincing Mamise to ride instead of walk long-term :p

Anyway, if Caladrel waits with Mamise, and everyone else is on horseback, we'll move 35' (even Gage is too heavy for a light horse to carry @ 50'/round)

We have a wagon, we repaired it and took it with us from the bandit camp. So we can use it again. I was planning on getting some supplies to help repair it more.

The wagon is as repaired as it needs to be. And I'm not sure if I mentioned it in gameplay, but I'll go ahead and say it here: Kesten and his men are more than willing to escort your prisoners to Restov.

So do we want to let them escort the prisoners into Restov and we start to explore....?
With the wagon loaded up with our items we would be traveling at a 20 or 16 miles in a day.
If we go on horse we could make 24 to 32 miles in a day. This depends on characters being on foot or on a horse...30 speed to a 40 speed.

Motion sickness. A roleplay-only adverse effect I added to my Oracle Curse, since the drawback was rather underwhelming.
She'll manage if she's going to explore, but not for a trip to Brevoy and back that she sees as rather pointless.

I never saw anything about the mercenaries wanting to escort the prisoners back to Restov. Now that we know, we can move forward with exploring.

SO 40 feet. No exploration until after you reach the fort means you make it in 24 hours of travel (two days if you go 12 hours a day), as long as you take the route I've suggested in green on your map.

Also, I need to know, are you waiting a week for the new supplies? Or are you leaving "today"? Or somewhere in between?

What does everyone think?
Do we take some time and explore each of those hexes on our way down to the reported area? or just go straight down there.
If we can get some XP on the way we only need 669 XP to make next level which would be a huge help before taking on the stag lord. I am assuming he is a boss type person and we are going to have a tough fight on our hands.

I am all for levels, but I fear that the more we put this off the more powerful he will get. At some time he will know that we just took out 13 of his men.
I vote with exploring on our way to the fort...spend about a week exploring.

Each hex is 100 Xp...I think I know the answer but I will ask anyway.
Is that a total of 100xp meaning 16xp each or 100xp each.

The party earns 100 xp, or 17 apiece. When it comes to dividing up xp (measured in the thousands) I like to round arithmetically.

So we have three votes for Svetlana's ring/exploration followed by the Stag Lord's Fort, and one vote for exploration on the way to the Stag Lord's Fort. Annurian votes for heading straight for the Stag Lord, but I assume he'd be okay with Andreas' plan, correct me if I'm wrong.

What is Derra's vote? Has she said?

So with the departure of Annurian, how would we like to proceed? Do we continue on as is or recruit one more player? If we recruit another player, we can continue on with the game and bring them in as soon as we select one. This way we do not waste any time looking.

Two melees, a divine caster, a bard. We are decently balanced, could do with a wizard but it's not a bad party. Should we try like this, then look for someone else should we struggle?

the one directly in front of us.. it only has a 30ft range

then the one in front of that until I realise just how big an area it is and that it'll take forever to do... if we walk through.. i'll sift as far ahead as i can directly in front of us.

I moved everyone closer to the point of interest on this map, assuming you'd eventually get over there. You still don't see anything of interest yet, but I'd like it if you all arranged yourselves so that I'm not just choosing someone at random to be hit with a surprise round (spoiler alert).
