Gird is over a large chasm there should be enough room to move
The Little Game Master
Yes, using the space afforded by the chasm, Gird wouldn't take a penalty, but the chasm closes to virtually a point, so while Gird doesn't take a penalty to attack from the low ceiling, he does take one for squeezing (-4) unless he chooses to climb the wall first (where he can attack with one hand at full bonus).
The path/opening is a little over 5' wide. The chasm is 10' across from ledge to ledge, and 20' deep as I've said, and the bottom closes to a squeeze. It also closes to a squeeze at about 20' to the north and south of the path (the path is bisected by a 40' wide chasm).
The reason I haven't posted a map, is there isn't one for this chasm: most of the combat will be taking place on the wall, or on the ledge. If you are beyond the ledge, everyone in the chasm has cover and concealment; otherwise you're in a 10'x20'x40' rectangular prism, or squeezing.
Gird is standing on the far (west) ledge. Gage is squeezed into the bottom in the middle of the path. Mamise is on the west wall just below Gird, and combat started before Andreas could move from the near (east) ledge.

squeezing i suppose then... especially with a bow
The Little Game Master
Gage is squeezing, not Gird, sorry; I used the same name twice, when I meant to say Gird then Gage...sorry.
The Little Game Master
Sorry, yes, I assumed that was a take 20 search to find Mamise's dagger(s). So you find them. Also, Andreas, that post would likely have been better suited to the discussion tab. Thanks.
Gage G
Yay! I figured we'd take 20 too. I guess I should've put that down OOC xD
Also: Andreas, you'd like to lead the way, right? xD
The Little Game Master
Gird, can you attack as well with the studied target ability?
Yes he can, ST is a move action. I'm going to go ahead and move it along, counting Gird as delaying his action if he chooses to use his standard action this round.
Gird Medvyed

I was thinking it was a standard for some reason
Gird uses studied target on the mite and fires
Longbow+st: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17
Damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9
Gage G
yay babies! xD
The Little Game Master
Sorry for the delay, I've tried on 3 separate occasions to post, but this is the first time I've been able to finish...
Also, I'll be gone until Sunday afternoon, so don't expect a post (I'll still have my phone, so as long as it doesn't take a long post, I should still be able to post, but...GM posts are usually too much for my phone).
Gage G
sounds like when I accidentally hit the back or forward buttons on my mouse when posting :/
In other news: Happy Easter!
Gage G
yus xD
I'm also convinced that you'll have some sort of speech/performance that will be the most dramatic moment XD
Sir Andreas der Eisfalke
Andreas is hoping to keep the knowledge of the relic in our possession away from the kobold until we meet the chief. If he does not know we have it then he will not try to kill us in our sleep to get it back. We can also get a better price for it if we meet the chief first but that is not Andreas main concern.
Gage G
I was thinking mostly that last thing about possibly getting a better deal and/or impressing our possible allies xD
Gage is just thinking of the performance :P
Gird Medvyed

Gird just goes along at the moment he is inquisitoralising you and trying to figure out how to head of some of your more zany schemes
Gage G
Oh yeah, I forgot about that.
Lol.
Welp, now Mamise can wonder what Gage is going to reveal xD
Gage G
for the sake of expediency, we can also make our plans OOC in this thread xD
Sir Andreas der Eisfalke
Mamise, I would like to continue our conversation as I feel it will be good old fun time for RP BUT I do not want to take time away from the game waiting on us to solve our differences. Are you up for a little side RP over PMs maybe?
Gage G
@Andreas: It's okay to not have a long speech for everything. Especially when we're in the middle of a dramatic moment. I get that it's Andreas' thing, but some of it can be off screen.
Anyway, do what you want, but please think about it.
Sir Andreas der Eisfalke
That is exactly why I was thinking of doing it over PM so that we can move along. I want to try and not bog down the game as much as I do already. lol
You were thinking along the same lines as I was.

Away from today til 22nd, posting will be spotty.
The Little Game Master
Fair warning, after this encounter I'm probably going to have to quit. Between work, my IRL campaign, my family (in reverse order), I don't think I have the time to adequately GM this game; at least not to my standards.
Sorry.
Gage G
Very well QQ

Reboot?
The Tick in the Barrel
Hi all! Also checking in, per Jovich's invite. I've never played Kingmaker before, but am familiar with the main points of the first module (mostly just the bandit stuff) and have read the paizo advertising blurbs for the AP. I've never played/used any kingdom building rules, so I'll look those over - it seems that in the past folks have built their characters with pretty strong intentions of filling specific kingdom positions.
My current interests character-wise are leaning towards either an archery-focused ranger or a magicky druid, but I'm generally up for filling any party role. I'll wait for firm creation guidelines and/or general party make-up before delving too far into character building.
