Issil's actual plan:

1) Disguise everyone.
2) Tell the Silver Ravens to show up and provide entertainment for the pre show.
3) Thrune will almost certainly try to capture us. The Ravens can provide an impromptu parade while we give the guards the slip.

Nurla will show up and mingle with the guests and make some ridiculous demands that are obviously aimed at improving her slum lord kingdom. She'll probably drink too much, maybe even helping with the distraction.

So far, here's what I calculated as being sold:

Balgorrah (Bounty from Vhast) - 11708 gp
+1 shadow studded leather - 2462 gp
Qadiran throw rug - 500 gp
Leather Armor +1 - 290 gp

14,960 gp so far (to be divided by 5). Anyone claiming the slippers of spider climbing?

Ok I added those of these that weren't in the spreadsheet. Where did that +1 leather come from? The sell price should be more than 290, should be 580 if it is indeed just +1 leather armor.

Does Issil want to roll me for the spider climb boots? If she wins I'd be happy to have the ones she's wearing. Of course I'd prefer spider climb as my climb is not great.

The +1 Leather Armor was found on line 7 of the Loot Tracker's 'Claimed Items' tab.

I think PH had +1 Leather Armor, once upon a time, though someone else might have had such armor as well.

PH will pretend to be a servant, insinuating himself among the other 'slips' serving their betters during the luncheon. [Bluff +18 (+20 with heroism)]

What Geoff decides to disguise himself as depends a lot on what Morvena decides to disguise herself as, but he would prefer to disguise himself as a bodyguard type of some kind.

Disguise +6. I also have a Potion of Disguise Other and that provides a +10 bonus. It only lasts for 10 minutes though.

Issil is going to wear her ruby-jeweled mask and glamer herself to be a very fancy performer.

Nurla will make an appearance and try to get a good spot up front to take in the festivies, doing her best to schmooze some free drinks and snacks.

+25 disguise. Feel free to read up on how my disguise ability works just in case I'm not 100% doing it right.

Disguise +3; I suppose Morv will bust out something she's not really made use of since...er, maybe the beginning of the game? She'll dress as a musician and bring her harp along.

Though her disguise skill isn't great (unless someone has some help to offer or we've got spare Disguise Kits lying around) she will take an opportunity to try and cast Misdirection (on the sly) on herself and one of the nearby trees. This would basically make her read as neutral alignment, not lying, not magical, etc.

Ahhh, I figured that low Disguise check would be a problem! I'll have to think a bit on how to proceed :)

But how did he know? you might ask. I fought with several things on this one. I wanted to reward the choice to disguise by not dumping too much Notoriety on you (20 is considered very low for this part of the adventure).

You might recall that, not long ago, Nox made your appearances public. Things calmed down for a while, and your notoriety nearly bottomed out. But looking at this realistically, people still gossip, and I can't help but think even supporters will tell their friends, and their friends will tell their friends, and so on. The public announcement basically made the whole lot who attended the gathering aware of your presence. Notoriety will become something that will start going up with each weekly activity phase because of this.

That doesn't answer the question connecting you with Wex and the display at the market, but considering the number of guards and the need to leave the roof of the temple, I figured a local search by the guards after Wex was thrown off the roof to be likely. Plus, you had been publicly asking around about him. And you were seen at the tenement. It wouldn't be hard to figure out, even if Thrune wasn't exactly certain here.

Just wanted to explain my thinking. I had recently felt like I railroaded my face-to-face Starfinder group when they destroyed a surveillance bot meant to watch their actions on an asteroid, and yet they were still seen because an invisible recording device had been placed conveniently in their armor when they weren't looking, so they were watched anyway... Got a lot of eyerolls for that one, but that's how it was written.

Eh, I figured we would be caught anyway. I was wondering what he was going to do once he singled us out.

Maybe the game orders a TPK at this point, I don't know!

We need to agree on what to do with the gifts from Thrune, now that they're all identified. And then we haven't run activities in quite some time, so we should do that. I also owe each of you your Rebellion Rank 8 gift:

At rank 8, the gift is a piece of armor or wand worth 1,200 gp or less. Wands are fully charged (and cost the appropriate amount).

FYI, a CL-1 wand costs 750gp and a CL-2 wand costs 1500gp. A fully-charged wand with a level-2 spell costs 4500gp

GM, can I transfer PH's gift to Rosebud? I'm thinking a tiny wand of CLW might be the most practical for her and for the party.

Uh... I'm not sure what gift I want. I'll have to look for a good level 1 spell to spam. Or just default to CLW.

Not sure what armor Geoffrey could get here. He would like to upgrade to magical heavy armor but that is out of his price range.

Any suggestions here? If we decide not to use the gifted items then Geoff could upgrade his shield I suppose.

EDIT: Can Geoffrey gift his armor to Rosebud?

Totally fine with transferring the gift to Rosebud. Maybe she's an instant hit with one of the Silver Ravens' supporters, and receives the gift meant for PH.

A gift, eh? I'll give it some thought :)

Seeing the options, armor at this point is out since our armor levels are too pricey for the gift. That leaves wands.

CLW would be hard to top, the more the merrier.. but other popular wand options I've come across include:

Feel free to add to this list. We can use this benefit to really help the casters out or at least give us some nice buff boosts.

At some point we're going to visit the sea elves. Touch of the Sea and things like that could help.

Air Bubble and Waterproof are level-1 spells.

Casting bless will be a Round 1 staple for Rosebud, so that won't be as high a priority for wands.

Padraig: Does Rosebud need any armor or shield upgrades? Since Geoff cannot upgrade his own armor or use a wand he is thinking of gifting this to her.

Ok browsing Rosebud's character sheet she can cast bless 3x a day, which usually should be enough. She can use a wand for CLW work.

I did notice something I had a question on. Her str is 5, so -3, yet her longbow damage was only -2 vs -3?

On a more important note: What is your vision for her in combat Padraig? Bless then bow work or bless then more buffs, or?

I see she can speak with anyone, so that takes comprehend languages off the list (that and I think we have many languages covered between us already. Morv and I have quite a few ourselves, I didn't look at others.)

While I think we have lots of good wand options, I'm going to go with a CLW wand for Victor as he wants to have some of his own healing available since he does quite a bit of solo work.

As far as our gifts from THRUNE: The items that would be of use to the man would be the belt of dex, followed by the cloak of resistance. However, he would rather sell the item for half price and pay the difference to not risk wearing the original. He is the master of secrecy after all, and sees them as trojan horses.

Geoffrey, when our crafters are available, PH will expend the funds (1500gp) to upgrade her blackwood bow to +1 and her mithral chain shirt to +1. If the GM permits others to confer the benefit of their gift(s) to help with that, and someone's willing to do it, then awesome!

Victor, -3 damage is correct.

I probably had Point-Blank Shot (PBS) active when I copied her info from HeroLab, because approaching within 30ft of her target would be part of her Tactical SOP.

Surprise Round/Round 1: Bless, move to within 35ft of a target.

Round 2: 5ft-step to within 30ft of a target, fire her bow with PBS to improve her attacks and to minimize the penalty to her damage.

-or-

Cast Divine Favor, then attack with her bow in subsequent rounds.

As Needed: Fly around the battlefield serving as medic with her wand of cure light wounds or as 'spiritual director' casting guidance.

I'll get a wand of CLW as the gift.

Awesome! Consider the gift transferred :D It does make sense in-game as Geoff does worship Milani, he he. Now Geoffrey expects a free ticket to Elysium when he gets killed so he will hold Rosebud to that :P

GM, given the gifts' restrictions to armor or wands, may I use Geoffrey's transferred gift to enhance Rosebud's mithral chain shirt to +1?

Sounds reasonable enough - I think the cost is about the same? ~1500gp?

Her mithral chain shirt cost 1050gp from her starting gold. (Like a baby's clothes, no discount for tiny size.) A +1 enchantment would normally be 1000gp.

Hum...after watching a certain other caster in action I'm tempted to go with a wand of Magic Missile just so Morv will always have *something* to fall back on. On the other hand, Padraig has a point about eventually visiting the sea elves so I think I'll go with a wand of Air Bubble for now.

Do you really expect to ever go through even 20% of a wand of air bubble?

I mean, if you think we'd be better served with a different buff wand then I'm (sincerely) all ears. Or if you think I should just get the MM wand and be done with it, I can do that too.

I think having MM on demand is good. You can always share it with Victor in a pinch if we're fighting more ghosties :)

In between reading the PF2 CRB, I'll update Gameplay today, but let's look at activities (recruit supporters? Earn more gold?). It's the start of a new book and new week. Also, the rumors table has been refreshed for Book 3, so gathering information may provide insight into some more things going on in town.
