Could it be that Victor is a furry?
Both times that I have pulled out a Catfolk character (once for a not-PFS Emerald Spire and just recently as a cameo NPC for my Gameday game) here on the forums, they've been flirted with and/or generated some manner of appreciative/amorous response or thought from another PC.
I don't know if Victor fits the bill but I'd say that furries are absolutely a thing on Golarion, in their own way :P

*snerk*
Probably for the best, but I sometimes end up with thoughts or jokes that never get said (or typed) for similar reasons so no judgement here.
I'd mentioned this to most of you already, but I'll be traveling for the next few days and I'm really not quite sure what my schedule is going to be like. I'll post as I can, but it'll be much less frequent.

I'm also fine with fast-forwarding to the banquet. I'm sure we'll get another circus visit in before it's all said and done, though ;)
You guys have no idea how much Victor wants to somehow steal that tiger and bring it to the banquet as his gift. If he had handle animal I'd think about it more.. or a way to move a very heavy unconscious cat!
Other than Victor's chain shirt, I don't think we settled on who else may be bringing armor and other gear along. Can you let me know if you're bringing your armor, weapons, and shield (if applicable) to the banquet?

Ooh, that's also a good point.
This is one of those time where it's good to be a spontaneous caster (or a monk) - my weapons are my hands and my mind :D
Morv has no armor to speak of but she'll leave what weapons she does own (dagger, etc.) back at her room.
Victor definitely will keep his normal old dagger hidden away as well, as well as his thieves' tools. He'll leave the buckler, good daggers, and backpack of gear behind... but where?

Geoffrey will leave his breastplate, buckler, and all of his weapons behind, except for his mithril shortsword. He will also wear his Ring of Force Shield, amulet and cloak as well.
I assume the rest of our gear is all secured away at Molly's place.
It's true that no one explicitly told you not to bring weapons, so it'd really be up to you. No need to worry about magical items. The main idea behind it was simply that walking into a fancy banquet with a big heavy breastplate might be just a little faux pas.
You're fine to secure your things at Molly's. She has a modernized wererat security system, obviously. ;)

Hey guys, I'm headed off to AVL Scarefest tomorrow and won't be back until Monday. While my time isn't booked solid I have no idea what the internet situation will be so my posting here may be slow or nonexistent until I return.
(I wanted to try and make one round of updates tonight but noooooo, internet is not being cooperative and my patience is limited.)
So, please feel free to bot Morv as necessary, if necessary :)
Apologies for the delay here, I've had a few busy days with some of my friends who flew in from the west coast. All of my games should get updates by tomorrow afternoon at the latest.

I'm back from beautiful Montreat, NC!
(Technically I got back late Sunday night but I had other stuff come up that kept me busy most of yesterday.)
Had fun at the convention but it has been SO nice to sleep in my own bed again :)

Friends, I’m thinking about GMing an Adventure Path, probably Kingmaker or Curse of the Crimson Throne.
Would you be interested, and if so, which AP is most appealing to you?
Probably (you know I can't say no to good GMs!). I'd need to look them up though for an idea on preference or ideas. I would assume this would start at level 1?

Ermagherd, a GM Larry AP!? I think my PbP FOMO would kick into high gear if I did anything other than express interest!
My personal preference would be Curse of the Crimson Throne but I'm happy to play either if folks would rather try Kingmaker. Full disclosure though, I've played all of Kingmaker Book #1 before.
CG Halfling Male Bard (Argent Voice) 8 | Conditions: heroism, good hope, haste | Bardic Performance 16/22 | Spells/Day 1-5/5; 2-2/4; 3-0/3 | Speed 30 ft. | ♫Freedom!♫ HP 59/59 | AC 23/ 15 T/ 20 FF | CMD 20 | Fort +9 (+1 vs drugs or poisons), Reflex +12, Will +9 (+1 vs mind-affecting effects); +2 vs fear; +4 vs bard performance, language-dependent, & sonic | Init +8 | Perception +15, Sense Motive +21
We'll play Curse of the Crimson Throne, and I'd like to start after PbP Gameday VIII concludes, if that works for everyone.
I'll create a campaign thread in the next day or two, so we can post there, rather than clutter up GM Red's Discussion thread here.
From your posts, it looks like Red, Lady Ladile, and Massee are in, and Eric's a maybe. Chadius?
Any objections to recruiting a sixth player? Any suggestions? I really enjoyed some of the folks who played at my PbP Gameday VIII table of the Special #10-00 The Hao Jin Cataclysm, especially Quillen (played by wakedown/DM Panic).
We'll play in campaign mode, with PCs of your own creation, and awarding Chronicles to official PFS characters when we complete the relevant portions of each chapter. (Which means it doesn't always coincide with the completion of a chapter--it's often sooner.)
We'll start with level-1 PCs. I like the way GM Red had us create PCs for this Hell's Rebels AP. Let's use the 20-point buy system, 500gp starting funds, 1 feat, 2 traits, as in PFS Organized Play.
However, you're not otherwise limited to the usual restrictions on PFS character generation. Additionally, each PC can select a 1 campaign trait from the Curse of the Crimson Throne Player's Guide.
I'd like to suggest each of you create two-three character concepts for yourselves, and we have fun creating a party from among your candidates. Imagine yourselves sponsoring a number of young adventurers and participating in a selection committee to determine who makes the cut.
I'll reserve the privilege of hitting the golden buzzer, if there's a superb standout. ;-)
Two character ideas... I may recycle my Ulfen ranger archer as I will likely retire his PFS character (And it would be a fine place to land those chronicles). I'll have to ponder on another idea.
I'm hoping to phase out some of my 1.0 characters that are newer and less enjoyable to open up 2.0 play time. I'm still hoping to jump off into the deep end and try GMing in 2.0 once Gameday is done. There will be a steep learning curve and I'm hoping you all will accompany me on that climb (when it happens).
Woo, sounds exciting to me! No ideas on characters just yet. I need to get an idea of the setting and whatnot so I'll dig into the Player's Guide over the next few days.

I'll try to give the Player's Guide a look and start thinking about some character concepts this weekend. And I'm good with you inviting whoever you wish as I trust your judgement :)
(Oh and it's not going to happen anytime soon but when/if I run an AP for you guys my top picks would be Jade Regent or Iron Gods :3 )

^Noted for the future :)
I also gave the CotCT Player's Guide a quick scan - they've also posted an updated sort of blog version to better account for some of the new classes and such introduced since the AP's original publication. Got some vague ideas for 3-4 character concepts already :)
(And now I'm done hijacking this thread until Larry can get his campaign set up.)

Yes, we'll play the CotCT Anniversary Edition. I bought the hardcover a while ago.
Thanks for finding and sharing that link to the blog updating the Player's Guide. We'll definitely go with that newer version for everything, including the Campaign Traits.
