That's what the W.D.G.F.F. (Western Duchy Goblin Fighting Force) first Reconnaissance and Strike Crew, aka "Gob Smash One" (that's you) have been sent to find out, in the barren mana wastes beyond the edge of the Duchy near the border of Geb in an ancient abandoned outpost called Hightower...

I'm going to be interested to see what happens when Schnorzel finishes her summoning.
I believe Layla (maybe sunny) was the only person in the room to see the creature Schnorzel is attempting to bring back here.
The elemental got just a teensy bit bigger after it ate a few radioactive gemstones.

I'm hoping someone manages to figure out the ritual before the worst happens. Schnorzel is under the impression that if Jakk is killed everything stops.
Trouble is if that's wrong and the ritual backfires there is very likely enough energy to annihilate every single Midori goblin Schnorzel has ever heard of.
This would be a bit of a problem for Schnorzel to accept without an immediate response of crushing depression and emotional trauma most likely followed by suicide.
That is if we are not ALSO annihilated by out of control necrotic lighting as we have no real idea how long the ritual has been going or how much energy is being stored.


I have now completed the post with the variable exception of Shaedo's and Stone's actions. I have tentative actions ready for them to go, however...

EDIT: It should be... interesting. Uwee-hee-hee!

Well.. that was precisely what I had expected would happen.
Crap.. where is Summon Bigger fish when you need it?

EDIT: As far as I am to tell the Burninator in question is possession of two arms. So it clearly can't be that dragon-man. This is fortunate as in comparison I am fairly sure that we would qualify as peasants.

I'm reasonably certain that your arcana and spellcraft check is not 1,073 - awesome as that would be.

Heh. Well, sadly, you're out of summons for the day.

Also, you can't actually see any of his hands. He was summoned beyond the mesa (so as not to shove all of you off and drop you 100ft. with his mere presence and size).

Well, the spells are... presuming this is actually Schnorzel's, and not, say, some sort of effect that piggy-backed off of Schnorzel's casting ability to use it for its own purposes... hypothetically speaking, naturally. >:)

Of course! Of course.... eyiyi! What are we to do! Wee-eel! I've got a very desperate trick in mind- if I got any action left this turn. I downed a potion, and moved a kitsune, so that may be everything, but if possible, I'd like to try to speak with the giant. Could I try that (in the sense of actions left?) ---I responded immediately in my post to the damage, before seeing the giant, hence all the edits...

Unfortunately, I'm off to work very soon- so I may have to come back and add that as a follow up later today... >_>

Because while summoning effects are dismissal, Calling spells are not.
Yanno like the ones that typically require the caster offer an ite...m of value. (looks at now missing backpack full of burninated Rupies.)
And summon a creature one then must barter with for a service.
Like say burninating a priest, and a ritual circle and his Puny god too.

Well... Lets hope I can provide a decisive argument for why we should currently not be burninated. As I doubt any of us would be capable of surviving that kind of smashing.

To let you know, even if you don't post what you're doing next, I'm currently holding off on updating or answering any questions because Layla and Shaedo finally did Aid Another checks (yay!) {remember: there's no such thing as a bad Aid Another}, so I'm waiting to look at the final bonuses; additionally, I'm letting people have some sort of in-character reaction, however minor, before updating anything.

Of course you'd save that from the five seconds I had it up. I tried to roll two dice in the same bracket like this: 1d20 +12, 1d20 +10. That didn't work as you can see.

Also sorry about Frosty. I'll try to be better about that in the future. Yes he continues to attack Jakk as a distraction.


Hey, if I had a dime for every botched dice roll and every time I've forgotten about a familiar or other companion creature, I'd... well, I'd have a few dollars, that's for sure! :)

So! We've heard from:
- Sunny, Shaedo, Dijiron, and, uh, maybe somebody else, I dunno. ;p

We're waiting on:
- Ooze, Stone, Vitreous, Ceru, Psi-dish, Beylinda, Schnorzel

Bear in mind, all DCs that I list are able to be reached. Somehow. Of course, not all of them could be accomplished on your own...

Also, I suppose I should state: there are varying levels of success on anything I run. I rarely do pass/fails on DC checks. If you exceed DCs, you get more things. The more things you do well, and the better you do over-all, the "better" the final outcome is. It is exceedingly unlikely that you guys will ever cover everything that I have as possibilities for you to cover. It is exceedingly possible for you guys to come up with ideas that I haven't - I generally try to reward those, subtly, even if it doesn't work directly. I say this to remind you: you don't have to fear me working against you. Stack the deck against you, yeah, 'cause I'm a GM and you're facing mythic stuff; but I also work with for you. Thus, feel free to use your resources - all of them - as you like.

Another thing that bears mentioning - though it makes sense in a game this size, there are at least a few mysteries that you, the players, haven't followed up on (or even mentioned), and a few bonuses that I've been quietly adding (when I remember) that I've mentioned that you guys don't seem to recall. For example, Dijiron, you actually did +4 damage more, due to your opportune strike. (+2, and an extra +2 for the crit.) I'm not going to mention a few of them because, frankly, the characters seem to have forgotten in-character, and, to some extent, that probably makes sense. They've been dropped into a crazy-town situation and haven't really had much of a chance to catch their breath. If a player bothers to figure out what they've been getting without me mentioning, good on them.

(Incidentally, Dijiron, you could try to make that scorching ray attack an assassination attempt, by expending two of your daily uses, if you wanted. You do not have to, but it bears mentioning.)

Regardless, I also want to take this opportunity to say that, slow and magnificent trainwreck that it seems sometimes, I really love this group, this game, and watching it all unfold with you guys. You guys are pretty awesome. For my faults as a PbP-GM (I'm learning PbP on a forum as I go - other PbPs generally came with maps and WLM-like chat programs built in), I'm really glad that you guys - all of you - are the ones that I'm running it for. I love your characters, your group dynamic (or dysfunction, depending), and your ideas.

Currently, missing Ceru and Stone (as Beylinda seems like she might be out.) I will look into the possibility of updating! as Ceru has, in general, declared her actions.

If you have to bot my character (and it has happened twice -_-) his default action is to double attack with the following statline:
Heavy Crossbow +2/+2 (1d8 19/20/x2) blocking, deadly, brace, distracting, disarm, double
+1/+1 Point Blank Shot, +0/+2 Oppertune Strike

"Blocking": When you use this weapon to fight defensively, you gain a +1 shield bonus to AC. 
"Deadly": When you use this weapon to deliver a coup de grace, it gains a +4 bonus to damage when calculating the DC of the Fortitude saving throw to see whether the target of the coup de grace dies from the attack. The bonus is not added to the actual damage of the coup de grace attack. 
"Disarm": When you use a disarm weapon, you get a +2 bonus on Combat Maneuver
 Checks to disarm an enemy.
"Distracting": You gain a +2 bonus on Bluff skill checks to feint in combat while wielding this weapon.
"Double": You can use a double weapon to fight as if fighting with two weapons, but if you do, you incur all the normal attack penalties associated with fighting with two weapons, just as if you were using a one-handed weapon and a light weapon. You can choose to wield one end of a double weapon two-handed, but it cannot be used as a double weapon when wielded in this way—only one end of the weapon can be used in any given round.


Bah, it's like you think I might not be taking all dozen-or-so stat blocks fully internalized and memorized in every way or something! >.>

Yep, I'm basically doing what I'm doing for the next now-three rounds. If something actually directly happens to Ceru, or someone tells her to stop doing what she's doing, I may change, but otherwise she is ignoring attacks and consider those die rolls made and her actions declared.
