Looks fairly standard length for most games really.
I know there are certain requirements about the use of the Montage Song, but said song really only pertains to training sequences, not shopping sequences. Can we get a judge's ruling on this?

The next three days marks a very important time for this game, so I just wanted to stop here for a moment to let everyone know.
Tomorrow, the 5th of February, marks the one year anniversary of the discussion thread. Saturday, the 7th of February, marks one year since our adventure began.

As for backstories, I'm trying to be as accommodating as possible without seeming like I'm forcing contacts.

I know money is tight for some of us, so I'm going to preface this by saying I'm not expecting donations. This is just something that's really important for me to share.
15 years ago today my Mom passed away from complications arising from Mitochondrial Myopathy. It is, plainly speaking, a nightmare for the sufferer and their loved ones. In honor of my Mom I’ve been going around today just trying to spread awareness about this disorder.
I’ve also been linking to United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation. Again, I’m not trying to guilt anyone in donations ;) I just want to spread awareness and understanding.
That does sound really terrible, Lali. I'm sorry to hear about it, even if it was so long ago.
Thank you for sharing something that's so important to you. I can't imagine the pain you and your mother must have gone through, and I'm sorry to hear about it. Come payday, I'll try to make a donation (guilt-free, don't worry!)
On a less heavy note, I laughed my head off at the MAN-tage. And 'Restov 2: Restov Harder'.
Well, Lali, you definitely raised awareness here. I never even knew that disease existed. Finance does keep me from giving monetarily, but I can spread the word.
That being said, Luthor, I didn't mean to make you feel guilty about any lack of posting on your part. You've had some extreme quality posts in the past, and they're worth waiting for. I agree with Chris in that you should enjoy your character. I don't want anyone to have to post out of guilt, that kinda wrecks the fun. I just wanted to encourage the Kaz.

For now, I'd like to focus on this scene, since it's a wall of exposition and I have to really decide what to reveal and what not to.

Thanks for the kind words guys. It being 15 years has been surreal, partly because since I'm 29 it's now over half my life ago. I've been thinking about it a lot these past weeks and I decided that I'm at a point where I can become a spokesperson for groups like the UMDF. I've met like, one person who'd heard of the disorder before they met me, it's not well known and therefore it's not as well funded as something like cancer or ALS. I'm looking at what volunteer work I can do.
Anyways...did not mean to be a debbie downer XD

Sure. We can bump the whole scene to flex-time if people would prefer, and get to other stuff that way. I mean, I'm about done with exposition at this point anyways, unless someone takes more convincing somehow.
