Unafe Two-Hearted |

Hi, I'm excited to introduce Unafe Rua-Ngakau (or Unafe Two-Hearted, in the Common tongue). She is a Shaman of the Goapeke tribe who live amongst the great saurians in the tropical Mokoweri valley in the Tusk Mountains of the Realm of the Mammoth Lords.
Crunchwise, She's a Druid (Saurian Shaman) / Path of War Mystic. Fluff in profile is complete and Crunch is mostly there (though I need to add more of her Mystic features).
Good luck to all!

Best of luck to everyone. I'm always amazed at the creativity from all of you.
I think a lot of us just fed off each other, one person has a neat idea, it gets everybody inspired, he likes their ideas and ups his game, etc etc etc.
drops a few slices of wasabi root in Korak's beer when he's busy stealing barrels
Oh I laughed so hard. My whole family probably heard me.
And now, because I'm bored, I subject you all to memories, maybe. Depends on how old you are and what you've seen.

Oh my, watching Frodo Baggins running away from George and Elaine and hooking up with Yippee Kay'e Easter Bunny brings back too many memories from an otherwise dark adulthood. LOL, what's next, Donnie Darko?

Late breaking crunch changes (mostly complete in profile, minus gear and choice of maneuvers)--Unafe's background all stays the same, but I'm taking her crunch in a somewhat different direction: Shaman (Life) | Zealot (Path of War)--occupying a somewhat similar space to an Oradin, for folks who know that build, but with more interesting options. She'll be more of a Guardian than a Heirophant, though she might dual-path.
Note that the Zealot class is part of the current beta and has been expecting a significant revision any day now for several days. Whenever it's updated I expect to make edits to Unafe as needed.

Stiff competition is the norm for gestalt games. I'm getting used to rejection, but I'll keep trying!
That's all you can do if you don't want to GM ... :-) What I really want is to find a PbP game of The Morrow Project Post-Apoc RPG, initially released in the early 80s, 4th Edition in 2013, and is the grandfather of Wasteland and Fallout.

i have been thinking of a Post-Apoc game that i am still messing with. once things get more manageable for me in RL i will post the thread and it will be a gestalt game, with luck in the next two mounts ^_^
edit
still trying to decide if it should be
1 desert
2 city like new york/la
3 500 years after as in plant life is back and every one is kinds of primitive in seance of tech but there is still roaming tech\ruins with light guns...

Post-apoc isn't usually my style, but it really depends on tone. If it's dark and grim and everything sucks for everyone pretty much all the time, it's not my thing, but if it's just that something horrible happened a generation or two ago, so now we're living in a weird mashup of ancient and modern tech and having relatively normal adventures amongst the ruins of a once-great civilization, I'm totally interested.

Wow, blast from the past there. One of the original developers was in my gaming group back then. I remember the book he gave me (still have it somewhere). What I remember best was there was a whole section for building yourself as a character complete with tests and charts to figure out your stats.

I can understand everyone's desire to get in, I have wanted to find a game where I can honestly see a good tie in for a Samsaran for a long time and this AP definitely lends to the idea. It would be a wonderful chance to play someone and use the knowledge checks like his mind having small and aggressive glimpses back into his past lives to know things. I hope like most others I get in ^^

Gavmania |

Yeah, I find the same problem for Samsarans. Mystic past life meshes perfectly with fervour from a warpriest, but no one seems to be able to agree on how a Samsarans past life affects their upbringing, and how to roleplay it and I've been turned down too many times.
Sorry guys, went to update my list last night and found myself falling asleep halfway through taking notes. If anyone wants to take it over and update it, feel free.

Over 30+ characters to look over. And lots of good ones. Could take a while to sort through and choose. With non-gesalt selection would be easier as you could group candidates into clearly defined Mythic Paths and then choose the one he likes the most out of maybe 8 competitors for that slot. However gesalt makes choosing more difficult as the characters have more abilities and some can fill multiple Mythic paths.
Good luck to all and good luck to Gm in making selections

Mithridites |

Well given that the campaign trait slots you into your Mythic Path...it's pretty easy to categorize surprisingly. Unless he lets us choose a mythic path besides the one chosen by the trait.
He said you could choose. Didn't the traits just give you a suggestion rather than slotting you into a path?

Very cool! I rolled up a MARS Operator back when I was in High School. Sadly, it became one of the good games we never played. There were a small handful we rolled up characters but never played like ICE Middle Earth. Don't get me wrong, my group was heavy into Role Playing all sorts of games. When our DM/GM became tired of putting up with us, we would play games like Car Wars and Battletech. Before moving all of our gaming to my house, we were playing in Round Table Pizza and we ended up getting kicked out. It wasn't because we were not buying anything because we actually purchased a lot. No, we got kicked out for being too rowdy ... LOL
