...I'm not seeing a downside to that, but mead does come in various flavours. And sometimes in Really Cool Bottles. So Cricket Mead is possible! Scary, but possible.
Still not making Noisy Cricket, it's other form is bad enough, with the kind of punch this would have to pack to earn the name, your stomach would probably blow up.

I think it would be better to hold off on posting here for now. For someone who isn't used to GM'ing on these boards, the constant chatter here might be a little intimidating. ^^ Just relax and let him make a choice.

Ok, since Sir Awesomesauce is having difficulties deciding on whether to go with two campaigns or not, who would prefer if I asked him if he would be amenable to me opening a WotR so some of the people he wants to be in a campaign will get in one and he will not feel bad about leaving more people campaign-less?
I will, however, make my campaign a bit different than the as-written one, more so than even he with the boosted encounters.
I was considering making a Wrath of the Righteous with an altered BBEG anyway, so I would already have great PCs lined up for the campaign!

I don't see too many of us being upset by the idea of a closed recruitment thread for a second table or even third. But that's just me.
I could be okay with that. I'd like to do the standard storyline for the campaign since I've heard good things, but I've wanted to get in on Wrath for a while, so I'll take it how I can get it.

Not sure that I would mind an alternate version, though I would remain curious as to the orginal storyline(especially since I got all the outside hints from the PFS season).
I am game as well and I had to look up what BBEG (Big Bad Evil Guy) meant? ... LOL.
I'm all for it. Like most on here, I just want to play Wrath, in whatever form the GM wants. :)

Yeah, I just want to be in a gestalt game, especially WotR, since it sounds like a neat premise, but I'm not wedded to the original storyline, since I have no idea what it is! I like the character I've come up with, and the more chances there are that I'll actually get to play him, the better!
At this point I'm more interested in playing with certain people.
The only thing that would concern me about your table That Guy, is just how much different the plot is. I'll PM you more.

Yeah, I tend to give people the benefit of the doubt in those cases. I don't have any real problem with people making power builds, but some are very complicated and mistakes happen. However, when a pattern develops, then I get suspicious.

@Korak: I can understand your point about the illegal character thing. I've had a couple people in my RL groups over the years who weren't even trying to be subtle about it...and then tried to lie about it on top of everything else. For that, I can understand a little caution..."Fool me once, shame on...shame on me. Fool me twice, you can't fool me again!"

One of my pfs chronicles does mention that I lit a Web spell containing pcs on fire. This was okay with the other pcs though. Not sure if any of them had beards.
God webs. Party of 6 and two 1/2 CR spiders nearly killed us. The party became split because I couldn't make a climb check on this staircase for anything. And the spiders kept webbing everybody down. Two inexperienced players kept trying to cut us loose instead of just smooshing the monsters.
EDIT: Since I have had multiple inquiries by people asking if I meant them, let me make this clear. I am not aware of any character on this thread using an illegal build. I was referring to another thread's character creation. And the person I'm referring to probably knows I'm referring to him/her.
