On the way to the museum...
Zane walks up to Draka. Stepping almost in stride to the hulking and smooth stepping Vesk.
Zane gets real with his traveling companion and foxhole friend. Even getting to The Truman Show down to the truth of the matter. .
What do you think Draka? Is this Kish stuff going to pollute The Zane. Weaken the awesomeness? Or is this ...like the Cosmos just doing it's job in finally getting "up to Turbo" status. Ready to dominate like the Zane has always known is supposed to happen?
'Cause. Well ' Cause it just feels like a big crap stick right now. The Zane - losing all that long flowing hair, and getting this freaki-deekie extra eye is hitting the ego. You know?
Draka is the big boss of Team Blood and Fury. You originated it. You brought it to everyone here. You know about fame. You know about fortune. You know about celebs that have fallen from great heights.
So, is Zane just going to be one of those fallen angels?

Upon seeing the secret door, Zane offers to go first. See if having an extra eye actually helps at all.
Zane and Bubba will go first. Check out the area.

Vetch nods, then eavesdrops on *The* Zane's thoughts, trying to make sure the man is mostly normal. Somewhat normal. A tiny bit normal.

He skitters to safe spot, drawing his pistol. He examines the doors for trouble.

”..I suppose the subject is lucky a spider hadn’t slipped inside. A Kish is humanoid, and thus compatible with some genus and species. An arachnid though.. poor f@#%ing guy would only be suitable for freak shows with a stupid name like The Amazing Spider-Man.”
Pausing his recording, Dash calls up to Vetch. ”Is Zane still alive up there? Ask him if he’s experiencing any other side-effects. Super strength, unusual urges, the sudden desire to lay an egg. Whatever.”

Ignoring the circuit breaker for now The Zane slides aside the secret door. the door rattles as it is quite rustic and has not been opened in several millennia.
This corridor is pitch black but with Zane's new vision he is able to see the gray's with no problems at all.
This corridor runs most of the perimeter of the building, allowing access to the computer consoles that govern the programming of each display. It is about 5 degrees warmer in this poorly ventilated area than outside. All of the secret doors are plainly visible from inside the maintenance corridor.
More secret doors visible along the map.
Laying in the small alcove to the south is a small cache of weapons and ammunition. Though the weapons and ammunition are of alien origin and millennia old, they function similarly to their modern day equivalents. The cache consists of a haste circuit armor upgrade, a shock fusion seal (8th level), and a snub scattergun with 16 shells, all hidden within a mk 2 nullspace chamber.
| Aerav Brack Elijea |
Abe will stride down the hallway, chuckling at the idea of a spidery Zane. "Are your legs getting hairier?" he asks innocently, trying to suppress a smile.
He moves to the computer consoles and checks each one for functionality. If he finds one working, he sees what he can learn.

"What do you think Draka? Is this Kish stuff going to pollute The Zane. Weaken the awesomeness? Or is this ...like the Cosmos just doing it's job in finally getting "up to Turbo" status. Ready to dominate like the Zane has always known is supposed to happen?
Some of the lingo is missed on the large vesk. "Yes, yes, The Zane awesome." Turbo? An image of The Zane flying around on the jetpack pops into the vesk's mind. The Zane talk when nervous? Draka taps her weapon on her shoulder as if she's pondering something. "Draka not understand why hair important. Hair for mating? The Zane whip hair back and forth? ...Vesk not have hair. Scales better." Vesk reveals her pointy teeth in a wide grim, wrapping her nails on one large hand to her shoulder. The bone of her nails makes a pleasant shhhh noise each time one taps her scaly skin.
"'Cause. Well ' Cause it just feels like a big crap stick right now. The Zane - losing all that long flowing hair, and getting this freaki-deekie extra eye is hitting the ego. You know?"
Draka nods. "If Draka grow extra arm, Draka upset. Set Draka tail off balance." The vesk furrows the area where her eyebrows would be if vesk had eyebrows. "And Draka look different from other vesk - although, Draka always look different. Draka fabulous interstellar VidStar, posting make-up tutorials, diet videos, and beauty blogs." The vesk counter off on her of her clawed fingers.
"Draka..." the vesk hesitates, "not very familiar with human customs. Third eye bad? Loosing hair bad?" Draka considers the increase in human subscribers since The Zane made an appearance on her VidTube channel. Maybe she should do something to help with his appearance.
Draka is the big boss of Team Blood and Fury. You originated it. You brought it to everyone here. You know about fame. You know about fortune. You know about celebs that have fallen from great heights."
"So, is Zane just going to be one of those fallen angels?"
Draka's eyes blink slowly as The Zane continues to talk. Her bottom layer lids blink, then her top layer lids. Her reptilian face is clearly focused on her companion as he talks about his extra eye, the future direction of Blood and Fury, and compares himself to a 'fallen angel.' A confused expression crosses Draka's face at the last part. The Zane not fall. And The Zane not angel. Zane human. Maybe it idiom...? Draka not understand.
"Draka follow human fashion trends and human face and claw painting. Draka very stylish. But Draka not know human mating rituals. If The Zane think mating too difficult with third eye, Draka help get eye removed." Her yellow reptilian eyes stare at the third eye, then his scalp. "Draka think hair improvement, but seem important to The Zane. Hair easy fix. The Zane ever use HairGro? Draka hear it make human look like Chewbacca ...smell like one too."

Abe finds that the computer doesn't have power as well as much of the building. Vetch skulks around the corner and finds nothing more than a dust filled hallway. Another secret door, very apparent from this side, sits 30 feet down the hallway.

Opening the door leads to two adjoining rooms. The interior seems to have minimal power running as a projector malfunctions and flickers in the darkness.
The display at the end of this hallway features an official-looking room with a podium in the center. A handful of aliens in crisp suits can be seen in the background; some appear to be discussing the contents of a document, while others are examining charts and figures. A couple of banners embossed with stylized symbols flutter in a nonexistent breeze above it all.
their work of aiding the citizenry. These holograms would be reprogrammed every few years to represent the actual elected officials, including the mayor, who is meant to be the main focus of the display, standing behind the podium.
*****
To the north, the holographic displays at the end of this hallway are dark but have been replaced with murals depicting aliens in solemn poses, their heads looking up toward the sky and their bodies lit from within. A small shrine in the center of the murals is covered with tiny effigies crafted from wire and metal.
Kish turned this darkened corner of the museum into a shrine to the kishalee depicted in the holograms in the other displays, turning them into saintlike figures. After walking through the main gallery, kish pilgrims arrive here to place little dolls meant to represent themselves here to be blessed by their ancestors.
Lying on the shrine is a flat, triangular crystal, similar to the one found in the House of Renewal.

These holograms would be reprogrammed every few years to represent the actual elected officials, including the mayor, who is meant to be the main focus of the display, standing behind the podium."

Abe can't fail the computers check so going forward.
Abe touches the crystal in all the right places. Much of the data is corrupted beyond repair, with the exception of a single voice message in Kishaleen.
The message begins with a loud burst of static, followed by a feminine voice. “…chief technology officer here at SecuriTech. Our customer service representatives received your message regarding your…” Another burst of static ensues. “…and I want to assure you that we take your security issues with the utmost seriousness. After all, you are our biggest client.”
An awkward chuckle is distorted by audio artifacts. “A copy of the admin keycode for your lock—for all the locks we install—resides on a server within the Foundry. This server cannot be accessed except from its physical terminal, and only SecuriTech’s chief executive officer, a few key members of our team, and I have access to that terminal. In addition, I checked the logs this morning, and no one has accessed your file in almost a year. And that was for normal…” The message ends with a final burst of static.
Both keycodes contain a partial router address, identifying the server from which the message was sent.
Even with the messages from the two data storage crystals, you still don’t have the admin keycode to enter the Foundry’s side security entrance. However, the messages contain a few clues including partial router addresses for SecuriTech’s server, which might store the keycode you need. With a successful computers check of course.

The next two rooms also have equally dark rooms as the projectors displays are without power. Looking back to the original hologram as you walked through the secret door containing the Mayor it is now off as well.
Continuing through the Museum you reach the entrance once again as you pass through a gift shop. The murals continue in this room, this time showing smaller figures in the streets of a stylized city looking in reverence toward a large archway to the west leading into a wide, dark hallway. There is a small counter in the northwestern corner, and a number of dusty shelves and empty hooks occupy the eastern side of the room.
This area was once the museum’s gift shop, selling all sorts of articles of clothing, digital books, and other mementos to tourists who wanted keepsakes of their visits.
The kish see this room as the beginning of the journey to commune with their ancestors. They would stop to meditate here for a few moments before continuing on. They believe the shelves and hooks were once used by their ancestors to hold sacred relics, so they haven’t tampered with them.
A fully charged holoskin lies in the dust on one of the shelves. It is currently programmed to make the user look like Istamak’s last mayor as you saw in the hologram earlier.

Abe knows just as much as Dash does on the hologram.
| Dash Arcbright |
”This isn’t a normal hologram! I suggest shooting it with friggin lasers!!”
Noting that Abe’s laser seems to be having some effect, Dash pops his Diasporan rifle and takes a shot.
I’m assuming the green rectangle is a door?
Diasporan Rifle (laser): 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (5) + 10 = 15
Damage: 2d8 + 7 ⇒ (1, 4) + 7 = 12

Correct, green rectangles were the trio of secret doors.
