Vetch and Dash both pepper the wounded Kish with magical space missiles.
Draka's rage proves to be her downfall as the Rebuilt ducks her hammer's arc. Zane continues to heal, leaving the group to fend for themselves without the sportsball quarterback.
As Draka moves around the rebuilt it swings a limp tentacled limb in her direction.

Zane moves into flanking position intent on taking out this rebuilt quasit.... right after he bandages up this last wound. He regrips his sword and reappears - ready to take this thing on!
move Zane. Use Field Fix to get 7 Stamina. Spend 1 resolve. @Gm. I was looking for the advantages of trying to wait to reappear and leave the thing flat footed, but I don't think it'd stack with flanking. Plus Dash would be in deep trouble in they ganged up on him.

Vetch continues to blast the wounded Kish with his space missiles while Abe stumbles back out of the way and puts another hole through the Kish's ribs. Though it doesn't seem to slow it down any. Messalina's frostbite freezes the rebuilt's feet, slightly slowing it further.

Draka's swoop hammer causes an exposed kidney to rupture as the hammer smooshes it. Though surprisingly the exposed organs seem to cushion the blow. DR.
The photons around Dash blink rapidly as he vanishes from sight. With Dash and Abe gone from sight the pair turn their focus back onto Zane and Draka as no speech comes from them other than menacing growls and snarls.

Well, all my shots at the most wounded missed, then Dash was invisible and in my way - so in character it felt odd to 'shoot around him' when I couldn't see him. You should have said it in character though, so we could have some banter, instead of ooc.
And to cover your earlier complaint about rushing forward when Zane had to rest, I did suggest moving forward 'after' Zane rested, but the DM moved us on - so I assume we had no choice.

The Zane |

Ehhh.. This is a good encounter for the GM. He gets to have some fun beating down on the heroes. His beasties showing their might, and he gets in a few awesome rolls to flex his own muscles. I think the GM should have some fun too. For Example, Lord Bronin was GM RAH's punching bag from LVL 1-7 in his KingMaker campaign. A bleeding and unconscious Bronin was standard form -it also didn't help that Bronin didn't have a good AC or a helpful cleric.
Zane, becoming invisible again downs another of his potions. He stocked up, but burned through his power bars and is down to the Gaterade Pluses.

Seeing the creature move by him, he holds off on attacking and revealing himself once more. He needs to get some of his vim and vigor back.

Definitely not the minority. It is great character development. :)
Vetch changes targets as the slowed rebuilt begins to look far more wounded after Abe's precise shooting. Precise shooting that quickly gets worse from shooter's fatigue. Messalina's freezing cold coolant continues to keep the merged alien covered in rime.

Draka's hammer swoops around and cracks right into the rebuilt's head, splitting it open and careening to the ground. Zane heals a small bit while Dash sends more missiles at the remaining rebuilt, losing his invisibility.

”Whew!” Abe wheezes as the battle ends. He knows how luck he’s been - there were some very close calls, but he managed to survive with little injury to show for it for a change. He smiles at his fortune. He searches the bodies, and then stands watch as others rest.
”Man those guys were much tougher then their counterparts. Whatever happened to them in here, made them tough. Be nice if we could get a taste of that without all the, you know, nasty side effects. Maybe their medical bay needs a simple adjustment.” he dreams on as he looks about.

Zane gets done counting all the rusted syringes that are in the trashpile. most, but not all of those came out of his backside and lower lumbar. He counted one or two extra that managed to have missed him.

Vetch looks at the summation of *The* Zane's injuries and shakes his head.
"I can see your spleen and you worry about being infected? Dude, that squirting blood? I think that's aortal...maybe, just maybe, we should stop you from drowning me in the pools of your blood," Vetch goes over to help Zane as much as he can.
While Zane presumably uses a stamina point, Vetch will use his second healing touch of the day to restore 35 of his hit points.
"That was a heck of a fight," Vetch replies, getting to work.

”Might be an improvement for some.” Dash comments, not saying who, but maybe sort of glancing at Vetch.
”Ok, rest up, take your vitamins and stuff. We’ll head out when Zane’s ready to play.”
Dash plops down on the ground sets his mind to reboot.
Resolve to rest and restore stamina.
When the group is good to go, Dash scouts ahead, this time casting an invisibility spell before everyone is bleeding all over the g##-d&!ned place.

@Dash- Yup, that is all the same.
After such a brutal fight the group takes a few minutes to recuperate and pull the needles out of Zane's backside and spray-bandage the puncture wounds. Luckily as far as Vetch can tell The Zane doesn't seem to have contracted any sort of alien diseases.
With everyone ready or at least near it Dash blends into the environment and scouts ahead. Through the door the android finds a long hallway with four unopened doors. Three to the north and one to the south.

The walls of this room, though dirty, are a soothing aquamarine color, and remnants of comfortable-looking furniture poke out from the rubble of the northern walls. The dusty floors and lack of murals hint that no one has stepped foot in here for some time. These rooms resemble some form of recovery room after a procedure.

Apart from debris from a collapsed ceiling, this room seems empty, though the thick layer of dust on the floor appears to be have been recently disturbed. Dash doesn't notice much out of the ordinary within the room.

Draka also want to rest and reapply makeup. The vesk looks forlornly down at her broken nails. Nobody told Draka how hard it was to keep a manicure while adventuring.

The vesk taps the handle of her gigantic Swoop Hammer to her shoulder, watching the android sneakily explore. Draka not understand why party hide, the vesk muses. Her covers her mouth with a clawed hand and yawns.

There is an air of solemnity in this austere room. A capsule five feet in diameter and eight feet tall sits on a ten-foot square platform in the center of the room; it is made of some kind of shiny metal, and dozens of wires, cables, and tubes sprout from its surface. Many of the wires run to a freestanding wheeled console nearby. A six-foot-tall door opens into the capsule. A small shrine covered in dried flowers and small wooden icons stands against the western wall. Doors lead north and south out of this room.
