Ahh, Messalina should have a miss chance as she's further away. Not sure if she has a shot, and Abe's shot might be negated by the fog as it's laser, though I can't find the rule now.

@Abe- Lasers just have concealment in fog-like environments but cause no damage to invisible creatures as the beams pass through them harmlessly is probably what you were referring to. CRB 184.

@Draka- not since you would have been flat-footed.

Dash overheats his circuits and vents the heat out of his palms. The heat and fuel just needed a little bit of oxygen as flames leap out all over the Kish.

Zane's sword easily cuts through the old armor as the Kish grunts in pain, jagged pieces of armor pinching into its skin. Abe and Messalina add insult to injury as Abe sears a new burn into the alien's skin while Messalina cools it off, freezing the creature's hand.

Though not before an axe swings Abe's way. You would have had plenty of time to get Messalina up 20 feet.

Dash ducks down underneath the Maiden and blends into the shadows of the ship to try and get as far away as possible.

The Zane gets a lucky strike in and cleaves right through the Kish's throat. It definitely bleeds as blood spurts out all over Zane's armor. Draka looks a bit jealous at the bloodbath but doesn't have much time to dwell on such amenities.

Abe defends himself with a survival knife as Messalina chills the fog around him, slightly freezing the back of another Kish.

Vetch gets down low and skitters out of this madness as quickly as possible.

Draka claws are futile in the mist as she chases shadows like a cat. Zane stabs his sword out at one of the three eyed aliens and lops it's hand off. Abe's knife is blocked by the head of an axe as Messalina drops a canister off coolant on top of one of the Kish's head. The freezing concoction bursts open, freezing it's bran. It falls to the ground as it's head shatters on the moss.

Vetch continues to scamper through the fog as he enters the Kish's mind.

the alien mind is foreign to Vetch and he isn't quite sure how exactly to scramble it at first. Had this creature been from the Pact Worlds he wouldn't have had a problem.

Appearing in the middle of the kish, hands raised and gathering fire and sparks of electricity over his head, is a version of Dash that looks about ready to blast all enemies with terrible magic.

Zane enjoys the presence of his friends

Zane, not knowing that Dash is not really dash -- slides around Orange's Axe arm and tries to take up position. Not really gaining a tactical advantage; because frankly it's hard to flank with an illusion.
But Zane doesn't know that.

His first swing is well off the mark.
Maybe it's the fact that he notices human blood- and not his blood on the landing pad ground. His thoughts immediately go to that poor friend ABE. The only other one in their group who spurts out crimson whenever there's a fight.
The Zane almost never bleeds. He burns horribly in acid, and gets french-kissed by Eoxian vampires, but big puddles of blood generated from an open vein..... not his style. That last part is more Abe's style.

Abe, you still alive? You bleeding out? You can't leave Messelina Fatherless, so don't go dying.

In typical Vesk fashion Draka's rage shows as she grabs ahold of the Kish's arms and begins pulling hard. the bone snaps just before the muscles as she pulls the alien's arms right off. The creature collapses and Draka viciously begins to beat it with its own bloody arms.

Looking around the area Abe sees that the only clear route to go from the dock is the Dockmaster's Building.

  • Zane enjoys the presence of his friends

    Zane knew this combat was over even before the Kish new it was over.
    Right in the middle of the beat down he was giving them, he takes a step back , sheaths his sword and turns his back to enemy Kish.
    It was a classic Bruce Campbell bad-a$$ move.
    Especially when ABE's Corona Blaster laser shoots over Zane's shoulder at the Kish, and Lina's cryojet cascades over Zane to blast the same target. Zane hears the body drop behind him and even gives a body shudder - ala a

    Zane follows the others to the ship and while they are in the medicine bay. He mans the turretgun. looking for any enemies to blast, but also resting.

    "Can your bird do some scouting for us? Prevent us from walking into every crossfire and trap?"

    "Draka enjoy fight." The vesk taps a bloody claw to the weapon skill strapped across her back, "even if Draka not get to smash."

    The vesk takes note of the yoski's advice but thinks she'd never touch the grass anyway. She was more of a meat-eater. "Draka friends think bug men taste good in smoothie?"

    Draka is ready to progress.


    Abe tosses their gear into the hold, as it’s so close. He holds up the scanner, "Anyone know what this is? I can't seem to figure it out. Seems untechnical somehow."

    When everyone is ready to go, he sends Messalina ahead, high in the air to hide her motor noise, but close enough too see.
