Bonnie, in particular, can be a little thief if one isn't watching closely. She's tried to make off with pens, game tokens, napkins, nail clippers, and even Christmas ornaments, to name a few things...

One of my cats—always indoors—stole half a chicken off of the table, and we never found any sign of it. Ever.

Now *that's* impressive!

Oddly enough, the two big ones have little to no interest in human food. They do like to check out what you've got - especially Dyer, who will flat-out change course to intercept us if he thinks we have food - but I can't think of a time that either of them have ever tried to steal anything, including meat.

The kitten is a bit of a different story but kittens are gonna kitten, so I'm not particularly surprised.

@GM: Can you put the token for Orange back on the map at the spot he dropped? I've got a spell that I might try to use on his remains. And if/when the other two drop, can we leave them on the map also, but with some way to designate that they're dead-dead?

Under natural conditions, no. Off-balance normally applies when you fail a Swim check without a Swim speed (or Freedom of Movement spell). However that looks like a spell or other special effect, and off-balance is the underwater equivalent of trip. So I spent a move action with my swim speed to "stand up"/become not off-balance, but I don't actually know you need to spend the move action.

Well, I don't know about that but Malachi is certainly built to hit hard and fast, like Holan-ji. Also like Holan-ji his AC is a bit of a weak spot. (Not so much with Shield and Barkskin up, but that doesn't happen all the time).

Mal will never get pounce, but as he levels he'll become more specialised in Dirty Trick combat manoeuvres.

Would anyone mind if we jump into the Bloodcove Blockade scenario next, before we do Tome of Righteous Repose? It would let me stick with Malachi instead of swapping characters then coming back to him.

For faction card goals, if we gain access to a unique or variant item on the chronicle sheet that is a goal checked off. If not, Mal will check a box for speaking at least 7 languages (including polyglot).

From the GM side of things, I have no problem doing Bloodcove Blockade next if everyone's good with that. Both it and Tome are 3-7s so it shouldn't make any difference for anyone in terms of being in tier or not.

I'm fine with that too. But...

Doc O'Mayga levels to 6 with this chronicle. There's not much to it except 3rd level spells, but I would need a couple days to get that done and updated (I can RP in the meantime easily enough.)

And does leveling him affect APL and any prep GM has already done?

I don't think we need both Malachi AND Holan-Ji. Although the two of them together would certainly be a hoot, combats would be .... brief. And I certainly don't mind playing Doc again.

I have other characters in tier, but only one that's lower than 6 - my level 4 surfer-dude merman bard-oracle.

I think several of the group will actually level to 6th (or be one scenario shy) after applying this chronicle so Doc leveling up should be fine.

I've actually not done any prep for Bloodcove Blockade yet. Sometimes, when I'm feeling froggy, I'll try to prep a couple of scenarios in advance but other times I just do them one at a time as we go. But allowing folks a few days to level up and stuff would be fine, since it'd give me some time to prep.

I've corrected an error on Malachi's character sheet. Fortunately it did not affect the game (I think).

Mal's level 7 feat choice was Shaping Focus. This requires 5 ranks in Knowledge (nature). Mal could meet that requirement when leveling but I had forgotten to do so on my forum character sheet. I have corrected his skills now. (Removed 2 ranks in acrobatics, 1 in perception, and one in linguistics; I had noted where I put the new ranks on the online sheet).

And that's a wrap! Doc and Maria were successful on recruiting Zulfibha (a cleric) to the Dark Archive and both will receive Faction Journal credit for doing so.

Convincing the undine to continue their revival of the Monastery of Unbreaking Waves has relevancy in terms of reporting conditions as well as for a boon for Concordance PCs. You'll see that your chronicles don't actually list it as Concordance-specific, but per the scenario GM thread it seems to be an error that slipped through the cracks and was never corrected.

The game has already been reported and I'll get chronicles out tomorrow morning after I get home from work. We'll take a few days for folks to level up, make purchases, etc. and then get started with Bloodcove Blockade next week.

Chronicle received, all good.

Doc and Hogo have been updated to level 6. He bought a runestone of power Level 1 for an extra level 1 spell slot per day. He got his 3rd level spells and bought a few scrolls which Hogo promptly devoured.

I also found a limited purchase item on one of his older chronicles for +1 flaming arrows (limit 5) for 167 gp. He's never going to use them, and the cost is quite small. So he's buying them and gifting them to Maria. If she shoots things more effectively, that keeps him alive!

Level up in-progress. There's not an option for Wandering Spirit that's really jumping out at me based on the description of our next adventure, so does anyone have any requests? I'm trying to prioritize new spirits before repeating ones if possible, which are:

Bloodcove is an urban setting (and a port), so Stone, Wood or Wind might be thematic.

I haven't really looked at what the choices offer you. I know that Stone gives your familiar DR5/adamantine :)

I've done a little theorycrafting with the shaman, and my favoured Spirits are Ancestors, Battle, and Stone. But these are with particular builds in mind, none of which bear much similarity to the Grandfrogger :D

Disguise Self is a Personal spell Zith, so no potions (unless you find one on a chronicle sheet as an oddity). Did you mean Disguise Other? (It's a level 2 Range Touch spell).

No, I meant potion... because I was preparing them to be scrolls and then thought, "Oh, maybe they'll need them without me," and switched them to potions.

So let them be 6th level scrolls then. :)

By the way, I did see that folks were pretty cool with the extended pause/slowdown we had due to being busy with Gameday or other things. With that in mind, I'm happy to move us along at a leisurely pace for the time being.
