Okay guys we'll go ahead and muster here!
Please provide:
Your name (as you want it on the chronicle)
Your character's name
Your PFS #
Your Faction
Your Day Job
And go ahead and tell me a little bit about what your character does (this is a good place to point out any weirdness, if you're slow progression etc.)

Hey everyone!
I've got two options here:
A natural attack dual cursed oracle 2/barbarian 2: who likes to use "command" when he is not raging.
OR
UnRogue 3 fighter 2: Who is pretty much sneak attack and dirty trick focused, as well as with pretty much all the rogue-like skills.
I am happy to go either way depending on party need.

![]() |

I've got two options, too:
A level 7 Kuthite Hungry Ghost Nun who is just generally a nasty piece of work
OR
A level 5 Priestess of Ymeri who excels at Channeling...negative energy
I think I'd prefer to play the Nun, since this adventure is supposedly about some kind of monastic and/or martial arts test, but the Tier we wind up going with would influence my decision on that.

Your name: GM PDK
Your character's name: Skivven Steelwhiskers (URog6 - stats need to be updated under alias)
Your PFS #: 4456-8
Your Faction: TE
Your Day Job: instead of day job, for this one Skivven will elect to attempt earning a title Loyalty Check DC 5, Rebellion Leader Chronicle Sheet: 1d10 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7 (if success, one additional box will be checked on Skivven's Rebellion Leader Chronicle Sheet)
@GM: let me know if Skivven can reap the rewards of the earn title action for this scenario - i.e. he becomes 'Guardian of the Rebellion' and gains a permanent +2 to Perception - or if it comes into effect only at the end of scenario.

Hello, I'll be bringing a squishy caster druid without pet or wildshape.
Your name: Dmitri
Your character's name: Eirwen
Your PFS # 231699-9
Your Faction Scarab Sages
Your Day Job: instead of Day Job, doing the Tar Pit excavations Boon from one of the older chronicle sheets (requires to pass a DC19 Survival Check to tick the box)
Survival, with Cracked Magenta Prism Ioun Stone attuned to it: 1d20 + 14 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 14 + 2 = 18
Edit: Doh!

Your name (as you want it on the chronicle) Steve Weston
Your character's name Rhiannon Moonwing
Your PFS # #260381-002
Your Faction Silver Crusade
Your Day Job Profession (Barrister) Check DRR: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (17) + 8 = 25
Progression Slow
Rhiannon is a Paladin 4 / Warpriest 3 of Ragathiel. She can be fairly tolerant of those that don't follow the straight and narrow, as she believes firmly in redemption.

GM Cwethan |

I spoke with Kiara via PM, and she's still in (as a level 5 admixture evoker).
We're pretty firmly high tier, so let that guide your final choices on characters IHIYC and Batpony.
Eirwen, please do get your profile filled out when able - since we're already mustered I like to take the extra time to familiarize myself with your characters.

![]() |

Since it's in place of a day job, that'll have to go into effect at the end of the scenario I'm afraid.
Just finished leveling up Skivven to 6 and updated stats under his alias.
PS: turns out I already unlocked Guardian boon an as of the last chronicle sheet applied to this PC. I'm not changing the 'earn title' downtime above though, as I can still accrue boxes to gain more stuff down the road.
Thanks for your patience with this... and apologies in advance for the multiple screw ups I'll no doubt make during this module. :)

![]() |

Actually, I've just locked down my decision in another game, so that locks down this one.
Your name: I'm Hiding In Your Closet
Your character's name: Kali Altzairu
Your PFS #: #40025-4
Your Faction: Grand Lodge
Your Day Job: Profession (Undertaker): 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (20) + 15 = 35
Kali's a Kuthite Hungry Ghost Qigong Nun. Fighting her is kind of like fighting a vicious downward spiral: She will kick you down, then kick you when you're down, hit so hard she draws blood, then hit harder because she's drawn blood, then suck out your life force.

I am sorry, @GM Cwethan. I am playing the game today with this character, dvancing him to 6-th level in the process. I will update the info as soon as I finish the advancement process.
By the way, rolling 2 with a +16 on my Day Job fails at level 5, but would be fine for level 6 and a +17 mod. Do you mind?

![]() |

Gah! just GM'ed myself into level 7 in a local game... revised stats will be ready by Monday!
Nevermind... nothing to see here... that chronicle will only apply if/when Skivven reaches 8th level...

GM Cwethan |

Hi Kitani, the gameplay thread is open - sorry if that wasn't clear!
Also, I would appreciate a fuller character sheet in your profile (spells prepared, special abilities/discoveries etc.), and if you could add a snapshot of your basic stats (ACs, CMD, Saves, Perception, Initiative is the standard minimum) into your Race/Class lines in your profile that'll show up as a useful header in the threads.
Thanks!

![]() |

Apologies if I jumped the gun on a Diplomacy check. Seemed like a good time for one, and figured it sometimes helps to anticipate. If you'd rather me to always wait to be asked before making a roll, I will do that in the future. Thanks GM Cwethan!

![]() |

I will be making an unplanned work trip most of next week. While I am hopeful I should be able to check in once a day, there is a chance I may not be able to. Please bot me if necessary!

![]() |

Not sure what happened to the Merciful Rod when Kitani dropped. Can Eirwen go and retrieve it this turn?

![]() |

So Rhiannon has a boon from PFS Scenario #8-14 called Inahiyi's Gratitude. Here is the description:
"By participating in the ritual of Inahiyi, you’ve become intertwined in the wayang’s connection to the Shadow Plane. You may, as an immediate action, check a box that precedes this boon to treat positive and negative energy effects as though you were an undead creature, taking damage from positive energy and healing damage from negative energy. This ability lasts 1 minute once activated."
If I'm reading this correctly, and since Rhiannon still had 3 HP after taking that horrible axe crit, can she use this boon and be healed 11 HP? The downside I think is that she won't be able to heal herself, but at least she'll be up to 14 HP and can make another attack at her assailant. Let me know, and if my interpretation is correct I'll do it and post my action.
If not, I'll just take my unconscious and dying state and be happy I'm not dead yet. :p

![]() |

You won't be downed by the Channel if you use this boon, but you won't be healed either, as the channeler chooses whether he heals or harms.

![]() |

That makes sense. And since she won't be able to heal herself (or take healing) for a full minute if she uses that boon (while sitting at 3 HP and staring at the business end of a very nasty axe), I think I'm better off not using the boon at all.
Thanks Eirwen, sweet unconsciousness here I come...

![]() |

No worries, good thing she had the HP to take the hit! :) She's not even dying anymore, I don't think.

![]() |

Falling
Creatures that fall take 1d6 points of damage per 10 feet fallen, to a maximum of 20d6. Creatures that take lethal damage from a fall land in a prone position.

GM Cwethan |

Oh, and since he's dead, Tasutek's bonuses to hit/damage were +1/0 from Bless, +2/+3 from Bull's Strength, and +3/+3 from Divine Favor. Also during the round where Skivven was stunned I included the -2 AC that condition applies as a +2 to his roll.
To confirm, yes, he was using Fervor to cast on himself as a swift action - Warpriests can do work!
I'm a big fan of them especially as NPCs, since they're more likely to end up in a fight they had no idea was coming, and still be able to quickly ramp up to full & frightening potency.

![]() |

Indeed. A PC of any other class against all of us wouldn't have lasted this long. Now, which god am I gonna pick? interesting obedience combos out there? :)

GM Cwethan |
1 person marked this as a favorite. |

I'll note that Gorum can make for a particularly nasty Warpriest due to his Divine Fighting Technique, which gives quite a bit of love to Vital Striking with a greatsword.
And since Warpriests can take some feats as though their BaB were higher, this can mean Vital Striking a few levels before you even get your iterative...

![]() |

Yes, but a Warpriest of Gorum is also so...predictable....
Personally, I'd brush up on the ones with the weirdest Blessings to offer.
So...weren't we supposed to get a piece of the Sky Key out of all this? Kali's still using the Season 6 Faction Objective sheet, so that would be good to know.

GM Cwethan |

1s and 20s get boons!
Eirwen: 1d20 ⇒ 12
Kali: 1d20 ⇒ 12
Kelumur: 1d20 ⇒ 6
Kitani: 1d20 ⇒ 14
Rhiannon: 1d20 ⇒ 10
Skivven: 1d20 ⇒ 8
Me: 1d20 ⇒ 15
Alas! Well at least chronicles are here!

![]() |

Thanks for the game, GM Cwethan! And for the quick turnaround on those sheets. :)

![]() |

Had a great time! would love to play again with you, GM Cwethan!
